Dipped by Dee

Wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised! From what I remember, they offer apples, strawberries, and cheesecakes.Since it was my first time, the girl at the counter recommended the OG Sampler. Six different flavors for $18, which is perfect if you want to try a little bit of everything. She also suggested the strawberry shortcake cheesecake and the cookie butter cheesecake.Everything was absolutely delicious. I've never had strawberries like this before! My family and I finished the tray in no time and immediately went back to grab two more for later.They're definitely on the pricier side, but for good reason. If you're looking to treat yourself to something truly special, this is the place! My favorite strawberry flavors? Strawberry shortcake, cookie butter, and fruity pebbles.

I received a Caramel Apple as a little birthday treat from my sister and the decorations were cute and funny. The apple itself tasted off with a bad sour taste, almost like it was a bad apple. I know it was a green apple, but it didn't give me that good sour apple taste. The chocolate coating (I'm pretty sure it was this over the actual caramel) gave me a weird chemical after taste along with the caramel. This was given to me within 15 minutes of my sister purchasing it and I also took my bite when it was given to me.

Whenever I'm in Aiea, I love stopping by Dipped by Dee for a sweet treat! The shop is super cute, and the workers are always friendly and welcoming, making each visit such a pleasant experience.My personal favorite is the Fresas Con Crema, and my daughter loves the milk chocolate drip cups--they never disappoint!The only downside? The parking! It can be a bit tricky, especially during busy times.Just putting it out there...it would be AMAZING if they opened one on the west side!

I recently visited Dipped by Dee, and everything was amazing! I had the caramel apple with rainbow sprinkles, and it was the perfect. My husband got the chocolate-dipped strawberries and the chocolate-dipped rice crispy treat--which was shaped like Mickey--and he loved it!

Picking dessert. Clean and pretty inside. The lady greet us in the store. The store is clean inside. Love the store layout. I ordered the cheesecake cups and brought it home. It was very delicious. I will be back again

First timers here today. We got the Dubai chocolate drip (little pricey, but so yummy), white chocolate drip, some covered strawberries. All were delicious! The ladies in the front were helpful and welcoming. Beautiful display of what is offered and very clean. Will definitely try the dipped apples soon.

Boyfriend surprised me with a cute strawberry arrangement for Valentines. It was super cute and the details were all there. However, the strawberries were kind of old and soft. The juice from them seeped through the chocolate layer. Not too sure if they were dipped when the chocolate was too hot or if they were just older strawberries. Kind of a bummer bc they didn't last as long as I had hoped as I know my boyfriend spent a lot on them. They're located across from Queen Street Cafe and Grill. There is parking, however, it is shared with other businesses so it can get crowded.

This spot is super cute!! We barely made it in before close and they were super nice about it!! The Shortcake Carmel Apple was so delicious it was gone before we could even make it back home!! I loved the presentation on the sliced apple but we ate it so fast didn't get a photo!! I definitely recommend!

TLDR: Save your money!!! Overpriced strawberries at $7.78 per strawberry. Chocolate covered strawberries from Safeway are 100% better.My fiance got me a box of chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's day because I heard such great things about this place. The valentines box was so adorable, but my god did it taste horrible. The chocolate coating tasted like a combination of a dusty cabinet and freezer burn. The strawberries also taste like they're soaked in sugar water because they were so artificially sweet. And my fiance can't eat them because they put sprinkles, which he is allergic to, so I have to eat all of them. And yes, I say I have to eat them because a box of 9 strawberries cost $70!!!!! That is $7.78 PER STRAWBERRY!! You can buy a POUND OF STRAWBERRIES FOR $9!!! It tastes so bad, for that price??? Literally just make your own at home with your favorite chocolate or buy from Safeway. Safeway had strawberries 3x the size for only $9 and tasted delicious.

This was my very first time going to Dipped by Dee and honestly I was blown away. I always had bad luck and never had a chance to go to their previous location which was at Sand Island since I always seemed to have gone on a day they were closed or just bad timing in general. But I'm glad I finally got to try their berries and see what the hype was all about. Berries were made to perfection idk what they do to ittttt but it's AMAZZZINGGGGG. I've had my fair share of covered berries but nobody not even edible arrangements could compare to their establishment!It hit the spot and I'll definitely be back again!! It was a sweet treat and well deserved since I've been putting in work at the gym lol!
