Dell's Kitchen and Bakery offers Japanese bakery items - they're known for their milk bread. They also offer Japanese/local fusion cuisine.Dining area is open...lots of seating is available for a dine-in option.Tried their February drink special: Caramel Mocha Strawberry. Now, usually, I'd say that this is an overload...but it mostly works. Not as sweet as one might think. Minimalism in food is great but maximalism can also be great. Strawberry sauce is made in-house.

While I ordered from Mio Pastology, kiddo and hubs ordered from Dell's. Note - They share the same kitchen. Kiddo ordered the Chicken Katsu and noted it was good - standard like most other places she's had katsu. Hubs ordered the garlic chili chicken. The g a rlic stood out - the chili not so much but he enjoyed his meal. He also noted the potato salad was good. Kiddo and I both liked the Matcha Yuzu Starwberry drink. It was very refreshing, tart, and not too sweet.

Very reasonable prices! I was shocked. Yakisoba was 12.00. But was only ok. Ginger pork was good. I will come back to try something else. My friend had the tofu burger and she really liked it.

We visited Dell's Kitchen and Bakery to try some of their popular lunch options. We had the Yuba Ginger Cream Pasta with scallops, which was ono bruhhhh. Light but still flavorful. We also tried the Ahi Katsu and Shiso Nori Chicken, both of which hit the spot. Plus, it's BYOB-what more could you want? Everyone said the shiso nori chicken was a winner! Be sure to check out their tasty baked goods too! They're located at the corner of McCully and Young Street.

First time here. One side of the restaurant has the Italian menu board and the other side has the Japanese menu board. There's ample seating even during the busy lunchtime rush hour. The restaurant was packed and it was already a bit after 12:30pm. They have several parking stalls, but I walked there, so I didn't pay too much attention. The food presentation was everything. It's been so long that I've been to a restaurant similar to this in Hawaii that takes such pride in the presentation. From the flower cut carrots to the air fry kale garnishes. Normally they just serve you in plastic takeout containers even though you're dining in....Free water station and also a bakery inside the restaurant. Can't wait to come back.

Feelin' hangry, but don't know where to go or pick? Try Dell's Kitchen and Bakery. Located on McCully and Young, next to KFC, they have an ample parking lot you can turn into from either McCully or Young St. Inside you'll also find another name, Mio's Pastaology, where you can also have what their menu has to offer. They have a nice number of seats to dine in, and also offer complimentary lemon water if that's all you want to drink. A very inventing environment. When I first walked in, I noticed their display case of what their plates looked like. The Tonkatsu Curry immediately caught my eyes and was sold, but not till I looked at what their bakery case had to offer. Wanted to try their Cream Filled Pan, but was sold out. Didn't frown for I saw a lone Apple Cinnamon Pan calling me and under that the Bread Pudding was jumping up and down calling me also. The cashier was very helpful and with my confusion on where to order and where to pay, they were very patient and accommodating.Went to order my plate with the 2 pastries, and saw a display of their special of the day... Braised Shoyu Pork with herb potatoes! Told the cashier, to cancel the Tonkatsu and give me the special. So Glad I did! Ate in with this plate, and came in a very fancy looking pasta bowl/plate... 3 Huge Pieces of their Shoyu Pork and a generous amount of potatoes to match. First, the Pork was well braised and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was moist and tasty and paired perfectly with the herb potatoes. I'm sure I cleared that dish in under 10 minutes. If they have this dish, I'd try this out!The pastries are pretty good for a restaurant I ate Shoyu Pork from. My fav was the Apple Cinnamon Pan. Had a nice portion of apple bits with cinnamon and the bread was nice and chewy. The bread pudding was good, but wasn't as flavorful as the Apple Cinnamon Pan. I'd get both again, but on different days.Found this place as a suggestion from my banker when I asked about their food truck sitting outside their bank. My banker mentioned their fried chicken with fries was delicious, as well as their fried calamari. Then, she said they have a restaurant on McCully and I was like, "Oh, okay!" I'm a little skeptical with food trucks towards the late hours of the day, and being 2pm wasn't sure if I should chance'um and see what they had left or just go to their restaurant. Happy to have gone with the latter. Till my next visit, Grind On, Pau!

Most of the Asian foods here are great. I haven't gotten to the pastas. A couple of things need more work, especially the loco moco. Sorry but the demi/gravy (not quite sure) needs a lot of work. This is the second place this dish needs work. The sauce is what ties everything in together. Other dishes are great, especially the katsu dishes.
