First time trying here. Got take out. The inari was larger than what I expected. Was delicious! Will definitely order again!

DEBU, which derives from DEwang yuBU (aka, giant yubuchobap), offers a nice ratio-ed rice-to-topping variety of these snacks that could actually count as a meal. They also have kimbop as well.We tried:+the Spicy Ahi+the Zesty Salmon+the Unagi+the Bulgogi+the Mentaiko Shrimp+the Garlic Shrimp+the Bacon Kimchi+the Corn Salad+the Crab Salad+and, the Fire ChickenThe pieces were filling, and I liked that they offered a variety of 'toppings' compared to other yubu places.You can also upgrade your tofu pockets as a combo meal, as you can add a seaweed soup and a small drink at a nominal upcharge.Staff were friendly.+good ratio of toppings and rice in the yubus+friendly service

I had zero expectations coming in here. It's been on my Yelp list since it opened and I just never went in. I wish I hadn't because now I'm going to crave it and have to get it whenever I'm in the area!!For a fast food sushi/ inari experience I was impressed because:- They make it fresh when you order it!- toppings are very generous - ingredients are tasty and well prepared - flavor combinations are on point- price point is not bad for what you get- service is friendly and efficient I got the torched salmon inari which had fresh salmon in a light coating of mayonnaise, a sprinkle of tobiko and torched to give it a smokiness to the creaminess. 10/10The crab mentaiko inari was LOADED! Creamy and perfectly chopped imitation crab was kissed with mentaiko Mayo and tobiko. The rice was fresh and soft and inari was sweet and juicy.The original gimbap was loaded with gobo, pickled radish and spam. Tons of ingredients inside, definitely not skimpy. Freshly rolled upon ordering.The employee even served me my dine- in plate while I sat at a table which I was not expecting (most places expect you to grab your own order). It was a nice touch!You have sesame seeds, chili powder, shoyu and sriacha sauce at your disposal. I love that they offer a plastic glove so you can shameless shovel the overloaded sushi down your gullet and not attempt to pick it up with chopsticks.Interior is large and very clean! Many outdoor tables also.

So this is basically inari sushi - rice in tofu pockets - with meat or fish toppings. The two of us shared an 8-piece set and chose the following: garlic shrimp, bacon kimchi, fire chicken, mentaiko shrimp, bulgogi, unagi, zesty salmon, crab salad. Each was quickly assembled on the spot. All of them were delicious! Individually packaged wet wipes, soy sauce, utensils, and even gloves are free to grab. There are regular tables/chairs and counters with bar stool seats to sit on. Overall great for a quick meal.

I've been to Debu multiple times and the service is great. Debu started with different yubu and rolls but have now added gimbaps and donburi to their menu.If you don't know what yubu is, it's marinated tofu skin stuffed with sushi rice with an item on top. My favorite Debu yubu are salmon and unagi. Salmon Roll had shrimp tempura, tamago, yubu, green onions, yellow radish, pickled red onion and avocado. It was great.The unagi don was nice too. It's rice with unagi, yamago on top and mentaiko. If you're looking for more of a cheaper option, they have gimbaps. I love Debu's fresh ingredients and their rice. My favorite is their unagi. I recommend ordering a unagi yubu and asking to blowtorch it. So, it's abit crispy/charred.

I always love Debu to go but this time, my husband and I decided to dine in.Service was fast and the staff were warm and kind. They even gave us a free seaweed soup! So nice of them. It was a nice gesture for this new mama. The Yubus are always yummy. We had fire chicken, bacon kimchi, and bulgogi. I ordered some mini kimbaps to go for some afternoon snack.The interior is so cute! And it's nice and clean inside. It was hot and humid outside so staying in was definitely nice because the ac was at a cool temp.Will definitely go back again.

They change their concept of self-serve because feedback was told that it was unsanitary. I had heard from others that the concept was great but the food wasn't fresh being left under lights for so long.They are now made when order. Thanks to Yelp Hawaii and Debu for free 4 pieces of your choice of unagi, spicy tuna, salon, and shrimp. I also purchased a Debu roll which has shrimp tempura, cucumber, egg, daikon, green onion... look how huge the roll is!!! Center is a sauce that he told me to mix before using. Roll was really good. Unagi is always my favorite, can't beat that. I like that it's in reusable containers. Service is good.

Stopped by Debu on the way to the airport! Didn't want to leave without some Inari bombs! Enjoyed them in the lounge - both were onolicious!

The interior of the restaurant looked clean and new. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. They took the time and effort to prepare the food and made it looked nice. They make it when you order. 5/5 for service!The fish ingredients itself did not taste too fresh. The spicy ahi and the unagi had a slight fishy taste. Despite this, the unagi tasted flavorful and smoky which was still good.The spicy ahi and zesty salmon were not as flavorful as I thought. The staff recommended the kimchi bacon and that was the best. Combination of kimchi and bacon were savory. I'll probably get that again and the other cooked ones next time.

After finding this place on Yelp, my fiancée really wanted to try it so we had to stop by. We walked into a very bright and clean interior, and were greeted nicely by the friendly workers.The debu roll is essentially a stuffed kimbap, and they do not skimp on the meat. The Yubu is a Inari sushi stuffed with rice and a protein of your choice.We got the Debu and Yubu combo meal because we wanted to try both. We chose the Unagi Debu Roll, Unagi Yubu, Zesty Salmon Yubu, and the Spicy Ahi Yubu. It also came with oden, and a fountain drink. Everything was delicious! Can't really go wrong with unagi, and it was so good in both the debu and Yubu. The zesty salmon was also good, but the zest wasn't quite there. The spicy ahi Yubu was the best part of the meal. The texture of the poke was amazing and it melted in my mouth like good poke should. The mayo+shichimi sauce paired well with everything. The oden was okay, but it was a nice way to end the meal. Overall the food and service was A+ and I'll definitely come back the next time I'm on the island.
