Cozy, five courses, validated parking, nice service, and delicious food bordering on decadence. Mention Kama'aina for special discount. Everything was delicious and made beautifully. Definitely make a reservation because of the limited seating. Think about enjoying the experience for two hours of your day. There was one server that took orders, served and closed the tab. Ambiance was definitely not rushed and relaxing.Course one started with a scone with a dollop of cream and jam. Second course was a soup with a puff pastry ontop of a seafood type of consume. Third course consisted of a medley of sandwiches..seafood, meats, and vegetables. Fourth course a tray of desserts. Finally a yuzu sorbet to finish off the meal. Foods were interesting and an experience. The chef is from Japan designing the menu to make the tastes all a play on the taste bud. Cost was reasonable for high tea and would definitely recommend!

Service was slow, but they were all so nice! We came after our flight landed and had an hour to kill while our room was getting cleaned up. We decided to grab a coffee and Dean & Deluca was nearby. The line to order coffee can be a little confusing. We were the only ones initially ordering at the time, but while we were waiting for our drinks, we had to keep directing people to the register. The drinks were alright. I got a salted caramel latte ($7.95 for 16oz), but didn't really taste any flavor. They did accommodate my request for light ice though! Also, 5% discount if you check-in on Yelp (basically make your purchase tax-free!)

This review is for the afternoon tea service. I made reservations for my friend's birthday since she loves tea and this looked like a super cute experience. After we were seated they brought out settings for two people (even tho there was three of us?) and then when they brought the drinks it was just for two people. Then someone else finally brought mine later, but it was kinda weird/awkward because I had to ask for it. Anyways, I really enjoyed the sweet tea cakes/dessert, but the savory food was a miss for me. The chowder puff in a cup was SO small! The actual chowder was maybe a tablespoon. I enjoyed the scone that was served first the most. The katsu sando was also very hard/chewy and cold, honestly the meat should be fried and served fresh. If you have been wanting to try a tea service I recommend maybe trying the others in the area even tho they may be more expensive.

This is the flagship location for Dean & Deluca Hawaii, which is owned by Yohei Takahashi whom I am very grateful to for creating a Hawaii brand as the other US locations have been shuttered for years since the Thai company owner made it go bankrupt. I love the Japanese high-quality and creative twist to the New York brand too! The food is fantastic and this place is our new favorite for a light weekend lunch. There are tons of merchandise and fun items to make at home like pancake mixes. The shokupan and brioches from here are the best in Hawaii by far! A delightful treat for people feeling nostalgic for Japanese bakery items of a truly exceptional standard. The vibe is definitely classy but the staff is so friendly and wonderful. I wish the chocolate croissant would have a butterier consistency and taste!

Are the most interesting food I've ever eaten I've never had liver pad Thai or pate. Not sure what it's called. Not sure if I liked it. There was one item with three pieces of caviar just different. I'm glad I experienced it. Service was excellent. Dessert was the best one thing good

I had an absolutely amazing afternoon tea experience at Dean & Deluca! For $60 per person, you get five courses, including a beautifully presented savory platter and a sweet platter. The flavors were exquisite, and it felt like each dish was thoughtfully crafted. The experience is further elevated by their tea selection--you get two choices of hot tea, and they have a variety to choose from. Our server, Kristen, was phenomenal. She was so attentive and knowledgeable about each course and the teas, which made the experience even more memorable. Probably some of the best service I've ever had, hands down! One of the best parts? If you fall in love with any of the teas, you can buy it at their store on the ground floor! Plus, valet parking is free with validation, which is super convenient for the area.

I love their almond croissants and filled cookies. It's a little pricey but worth every penny. I only come for breakfast. I am not as familiar with their lunch assortment. I do know they sell out sometimes. I never know where to park but they do have a round about driveway in the hotel,

This somewhat hidden gem (so hidden I didn't realize the restaurant was past the bakery counter and up the stairs or elevator) is simply amazing! They offer valet parking, so it's nice to not have to worry about where to park. The ticket validation with the valet parking is free for up to 3 (maybe 4?) hours, so if you feel stuffed or feel like shopping after dining, walking around the Waikiki strip is a great option to take advantage of since it's around the corner! I love trying different afternoon tea experiences and this one is absolutely my favorite. They don't offer the traditional sandwiches, but they do have a variety of savory and sweet treats. I like the Asian fusion in the savory foods (e.g. katsu sando, shrimp on matcha bread). Plus they're offering a limited 5-course special for $54! (Way more affordable than other afternoon teas!)Our server was incredibly friendly and sweet too (I'll have to return to thank her)!

Very mindful. Very demure. And oh-so-CUTESY!Afternoon tea was the perfect activity to decompress with my niecey-poo before she flew out to the mainland.Tea time takes place on the second level of Dean & Deluca, called Artisan Loft. Nice, clean modern lines, tables are appointed with purse hooks. We had the pleasure of being served by lovely Kristen! A wonderful host, she presented each course with recommendations in the order of consumption...we were happy to take her lead. If you despise parking as much as I do (esp in town!), valet is complimentary for THREE hours! After enjoying the assortment of delectable treats, we had just enough time to stroll Kalākaua and walk off the calories we enjoyed. I must return for the 5% off food and drink with Yelp check in!
