I've seen this place at where we live in kapolei. My boss said it was good.So I told my wife let's g ood n try it.Something different from what we always eat.Just say we got there at the right time. The place wasn't pack n lots of seating. At times this place is packed n people waiting. We went there for lunch. As I went in I always look around n scope it out.The place was clean n roomy with space.TVs all on the walls around you.The girl greeted us very politely. As we walked to our sits, I could smell the aroma from the foods they served already.Went over the menu n it all look good.We asked the waitress what fried rice was better, she said the duck fat is the popular one. So we took her word on it.We order the duck fat fried rice, fried calamari, KFC chicken n fried mando.KFC ain't no Kentucky fried stuffs. It's Korean fried chicken n it was unreal. The most crunches soak chicken I ever had.Wasn't soggy at all.N the mandoo was a trip to see when it came out.All stuck together with a crunchy breading around the whole stuffs.Looked like a pinwheel. The fried rice was awesome n glad we chose it.Calamari was crunchy as well. The food is great to me there. For the drinks I had their db draft n was good n my wife had the pb whiskey that tasted like candy. The girls who worked there all had different color high lites hair n gotta say they look awesome with it.Great food n great customer service and very polite and friendly. Over all it was great n awesome. We coming back again for sure

Always a hit with the family. We first got turned into DB grill many years ago. It was the go to place for lunch. Everyone loved it so much, we had DB grill cater a huge promotion party. Fast forward almost 5 years later and it's still just as great! Granted, we've only been ONCE "after hours" which was fun and full of sake, food and laughs! More often - we are an early bird dinner crowd. Draft beer options are typical. The Bulgogi tacos are a consistent menu choice. As is the duck fat fried rice. Oh, and cannot forget the crispy Mandoo. Your meal isn't complete without. Overall, this is a great option for locally inspired food with an Asian twist.

Outstanding! Right off the plane we find this gem hidden next to the movies. Duck fat fried rice got me in the door and the shrimp made me eat till it hurt. Great service staff and the food was delivered quick. Loved the sports bar look while we watched the NFL games. Overall a great find and we'd definitely come back!

Stumbled upon this little spot for dinner one evening and we were very impressed with the food. A fusion, Asian tapas place, this restaurant serves little sharing dishes. Food came out really quickly and service was friendly. -Kimchi Fries (5/5) - these were mildly spicy which I loved, comes with waffle fries, spicy mayo, and kimchi slices. I loved this!Pork Bao Buns (3/5) - they were just okay for me, I felt like the meat was a little too fatty. The bun was soft and yummy-Sizzling sisig (4/5) - The portion was a little small, but very delicious. Came out on a hot sizzling plate with an egg. We squeezed a lemon on ours and it was delish. -Poke (5/5) - Tasted really fresh, and a large portion for sharing.-Boom Shrooms (4/) - I surprisingly really liked these! The dynamite sauce is bonbDocking 1 star because we did see a bug (maybe a cockroach?!) crawling on the seat and then the table while we were eating. Gross!

Food is always good here. They changed their menu and have a variety of other things to try. If it gets busy here it gets busy so just be prepared to wait a bit but they do try their best and work hard. Bar always has good music so good place to hang out have drinks and dinner

This was our first time eating at DB Grill, we found them by scrolling on my yelp app. The food was amazing 5 star. We had the duck fat fried rice with an egg, fried chicken wings, bao-bun with pork belly and man-doo. Everything was delicious. We ordered basically from the pupu and appetizer menu, but just an note its a little pricey our bill was $69.00 but the waitress did encourage us to come next time during happy hour which starts from 3-6 pmAlso all our items were suggested by our waitress who was very friendly and on point with her recommendations. We will definitely be back with our f&f. Ty DB.

What a fun place to watch sports! We went for happy hour (3pm to 6pm) and got to watch game 1 of the World Series. While cheering, we got to eat some tasty appetizers - fish dip, kampachi kama, lechon, and Korean pancake. All very delicious and perfect for eating while watching. Also, with a carafe of lychee soju for $15 during happy hour, it was the perfect food and drink combo to put a big smile on my face.

We tried out DB Grill to celebrate Rani R.'s birthday. Since we got there in time for Happy Hour, we filled our table with some of that menu, plus regular menu fare: Fish Dip, Korean Garlic Fries, Tofu Salad, Duck Fat Fried Rice, Sizzling LA Kalbi. Since there were 2 of us eating, we have leftovers for days, after eating our fill. All of the food was super flavorful and the service was awesome. While DB Grill falls into the sports bar category (think big tv's all over the walls), it's still family friendly and versatile. While we enjoyed our meal, we noticed a 3 or more generation family where the toddler enjoyed the food as much as the adults, older and younger couples, and some kind of "girls" night out celebration, complete with balloons and fanfare. Parking is easy at Kapolei Commons. If there's no parking in the closest lot, surely you'll find some anywhere else in the huge property. One the ways we determine how much we like a place is if we'd go back. Before we finished the meal, we both knew we'd be back for more. Nice job, DB Grill. See you again soon!

Good little spot in Kapolei. I try to come at off times to avoid the crowd. Food never disappoints. This time we came at happy hour and got the lechon and poke nachos. Both were outstanding. Mom whacked the lechon quick! Nachos were also tasty. Pork seemed to change from the last time i was here, kinda bready this time. Kal bi was really good as always. Every time I am back in Hawaii, I try and make it a habit to stop by here at least once . Service is outstanding as well
