Dave’s Ice Cream

Dave's Ice Cream is an absolute gem located in the Stix Asia Food Hall downstairs. There's tons of seats, so it's good for groups!I got a single scoop with two flavors--Coconut Macadamia and Kona Coffee--and both were incredibly rich and flavorful. The Coconut Macadamia was perfectly creamy with a delightful crunch, and the Kona Coffee was smooth and aromatic. The quality and taste were exceptional, and the service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by for a delicious treat!

I have high hope for this shop since they like an OG. I know their name even I never tried them. But I was disappointed by their matcha ice cream. There is no matcha taste at all. I couldn't convince myself I am eating a matcha ice cream.I will stick to Nordstrom Gelato and 7Gradi. Also, if you get their waffle cone, it does not have a paper holder to the cone, the associate just told me to hold it with napkin. The only pro is they give Kamaaina discount.

Keep screaming for this cool treat...The newest addition to Stix Asia is the classic cool treat by Daves Ice Cream and what a convenient location right in the heart of Waikiki. After having an early dinner bite at a nearby eatery in fact it's on the first floor of Waikiki Shopping Plaza...Big Island Burger and what a meal the thing is what about dessert!?Luckily we decided to explore the area and found Daves in the lower level of the Shopping Plaza in Stix Asia right at the Kalakaua Street entrance down the escalator and this tiny shop is a bright beacon with display case filled with yummy ice cream but it's always the seasonal flavors that capture my attention and it was "Pumpkin Cheesecake Crunch" yum!It is that and yes so much more though I chose a single scoop in a cup I'm sure having it in their waffle cone would've really transform it into a pie literally as the cone can be the crust lol! I'm just happy for my scoop as it's a treat that I don't usually give myself and I was happy.The staff here is just so happy and friendly and so was I thank you for the samples and cool treat.Thank you!

Dessert in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii...Located in Stix Asia (food court), in the basement of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza, we found the newest location of Dave's Hawaiian Ice Cream! It's a clean, bright, cheerful shop!Dave's is a familiar name - because this local company began in 1982. I've been to the Waimanalo and Waimalu locations - and even at Sears Ala Moana before Sears left Hawaii!Dave's Ice Cream at Stix Asia opened about a week ago. Service by the owners, a friendly young couple, was excellent! They offered everyone samples and were so welcoming!I got the seasonal flavor: Pumpkin Cheesecake Crunch... in a light, crisp sugar cone. It was so delicious that I got a second sugar cone, filled with Coconut macadamia... very scrumptious!!!I want to go back for all of the flavors such as ube, green tea, and Hawaiian Mud Pie!Welcome to Waikiki!Wishing you much success!Note: indoor and outdoor seating options are available.

Day, one of being officially open. We looked into this location in the underground market, currently called STIX. But it's Dave's. Which inherently makes it wonderful. The people here were very very kind, my only sadness is that they don't have Kulolo. Then that my children's sample flavors that they have had before other locations, but is always as exciting to try again. The scoops were generous. And the smiles were big as we enjoyed our ice cream.The area is clean and brightly lit. Nice big new Dave's ice cream sign on the wall. Can't wait to see this location. Be as successful as the rest.

They have the best shaved ice and we always love Dave's ice cream! It's a bit hidden go down the stairs underneath the Honolulu cookie company, they even have seating indoor and out.

Upon entry into the food hall, I was immediately hit with the smell of cooked waffle cones which reminded me to certainly check this place out after dinner. Fast forward an hour and I was back to get some ice cream! The place looked inviting with the decor and very clean. Ordered a scoop of ube and it hit the spot. Simply put this place has friendly service, delicious ice cream, and a good price. Count on me coming back again :)

pricey individual scoops so can get a double and get extra cones (free) to split them. a bit small on flavor choice but good for kids

Very friendly staff and very yummy ice cream! I got the green tea ice cream and my wife got the lychee sherbet. They were both amazing! The lychee had actual pieces of lychee in it and is now her favorite ice cream. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely great ice cream. Flavorful with great customer services. Only thing they could improve on is how they treat you before you buy.
