This Daiso location is located in Hotel street and not Fort street mall. Best to find street parking. (I think) and watch your surroundings when walking in the area. This location has probably the most stocked goods because it's not easily accessible in comparison to the other location. The employees are friendly and there is a great selection of merchandise with excellent value! This location is s little out of the way for me, but good to see what they have too!

This downtown Daiso location has more things in stock compared to the Daiso on Piikoi Street. They are on Hotel Street in the former space of Love's Bakery and next to a printing shop. The store is small but it's clean and the shelves were filled with merchandise. If you can't find an item, ask one of the staff and they'll help you find it. They have signs posted on all the shelves telling you what the price conversion is since not everything in the store is $1.75 anymore. I recently learned that you could get parking validation for the Pantheon Garage if you make a purchase here. The validation gives you free parking for 1 hour and it's great for when you just want to swing by and pick up stuff on Saturdays.

If you happen to be in downtown, stop by Daiso. This location is conveniently located next to Marukame Udon on Hotel St. The store is compact, but it's well stocked with a variety of items. I was browsing the holiday goods, and I found Disney wrapping paper, Christmas paper plates, and gift bags. I found some cute birthday balloons and party flowers to decorate at a party I am attending. I also found a bunch of Sanrio stuff near the register. These items tend to sell out at Pearl City and Piikoi. but the downtown location has a bunch in stock. I quickly found my items and went to the cash register. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. She also handed me a flyer explaining the free 1 hour parking in downtown. She thanked me for shopping at Daiso ... and even drew a happy face on my receipt. It's the little gestures that warm your heart and make your shopping experience so memorable here.

Heard about daiso for years but never went. Been to them in Japan and enjoyed shopping there. This shop is one block from fort street mall and conveniently located.I bought some scented kneaded erasers, these are a GREAT buy, fun, good quality, and price. However, the ice tray I bought broke after a few uses. Terrible! I bought purse hooks, these were great, I missed having them so it was fun to discover them after not seeing them for a long time, they work great. Also bought a Bluetooth speaker for $6 and works great with my laptop. So I guess you get what you pay for and sometimes you get pleasantly surprised, which I guess is the allure of daiso the dollar and a half store.

I already love Daiso but I found this location super cute. It's smaller than the Pearl City location but stocked up well and way less busy. Everything is pretty cheap which is great for me. I got rubber gloves, a desk trash can, two mini shopping bags, and a mini 5-in-1 mandolin for slicing vegetables and such, all for less than $15!The cashiers are friendly and ring you out quickly, and there are a few employees around the store who can answer your questions. The only thing for me is that it's pretty far from home, but I love the great selection of items and snacks and would come back again if we were in the area.

Who doesn't like a store full of items priced at $1.50? This location is quite small but it is filled with lots of items! I always walk out with way more than I was originally looking for. When I step through the doors I like Daiso tell me what I need. The entrance is on hotel street a feet from Marugame Udon.

Oh Daiso, you naughty little store with your cheap, cheap, cheap $1.50 quality, useful items and other excellent deals. It's hard to not leave the store without getting something. You'll definitely find something you didn't know you needed.Opening a Daiso in Downtown is such a welcomed sight. Albeit along a sketchy area along Hotel St, near Fort Street Mall. I want to say this is where Love's Bakery used to be, but I may be wrong. This Daiso is much smaller than the other stores, caters more toward people working or living in the Downtown area as office supplies will be one of the first things you'll see when you enter. There's also small kitchen accessories, cosmetics, toiletries, tools, and even a fake security camera if you need one of those.I needed a new rice paddle, and found one with two in a pack! Also got an oyster knife, which should work better than a butter or pairing knife. Always worried I'll break them. Last thing was 100 empty tea bags. Much cheaper than Chinatown!Overall, an awesome store with many useful items at only $1.50! Great deals! Friendly staff.

Third location of Daiso on the Island of Oahu in Downtown Honolulu! The newest location of the Japanese "one hundred yen" store opened on Thursday, January 20, 2022 on Hotel Street. It's good news for people who work in downtown because office supplies and knick knacks are just $1.50 (plus tax) - unless the item is marked at a higher price with a sticker.PARKING: I visited on a Saturday when there's free street parking in the Loading Zone. (I parked on Bishop Street.) There's also free street parking on Sundays and Holidays. SERVICE: the cashier that helped me was very cheerful and a great conversationalist. She was also efficient and welcoming!ENVIRONMENT: inside of the store was clean, neat, well lit, and nicely air conditioned. Outside - watch out for vagrants, unusual odors, and questionable liquids here and there on the ground...I was looking for air fresheners for my mom. She likes a particular one that she had found in the past. The other location was sold out and this downtown location didn't have any either. Shucks!I did find doggie toys for my fur nephew and fur niece. Luna loved her pink bone-shaped toy to pieces... Literally!!! Haha!Welcome to Downtown Honolulu, Daiso! Best wishes for success!

Daisoholic is a real thing, thank goodness for keeping it real here and congratulations your third location.Though this location is the smaller of the three there never a shortage of curious shoppers looking for that item of inspiration, knickknacks, useful gadget or what my friend used to say tchotchke lol!!So many clever items that can improve the functionality for as little as $1.50 you just can't go wrong. Many with cute and fun graphics from Disney and Sanrio I find myself seriously bonding with it all immediately. This location is classically parking challenge though if you find yourself in the area it is a great stop as they also have snacks and drinks and who know that item you didn't know you were looking for ;-)Thank you!!

Have you ever gotten that Spidey sense of incoming danger? Well, I got the wallet version of that walking around downtown looking for something good to eat for lunch. A big ol' magenta sign with white letter beckoning me to spend all my money in $1.50 (or more) increments, hence the "danger, danger, danger" sense flashing. But, like a moth to a flame or thirsty woman drawn to an obviously bad for her can't resist the "but I can be the one to change him" jerk, we all piled into the brand-new downtown Daiso against our better judgement. The store is well lit, clean, air conditioned, very modern, with oodles and oodles of low priced Japanese designed goodies. From home goodies, cute toys, umbrellas, makeup, the works, it's all there. It's not a huge location, but they manage to pack a lot of stuff in there. I almost bought into temptation and grabbed magnetic spice jar containers, knock off Lego animal sets, picture frames, etc. Thankfully, the voice of reason kicked in and all I got was photos so I can measure to see if these items will even fit. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger, I will be back. We'll see if my voice of reason comes with me though to stop me from buying everything.Parking is a mess as always as it's downtown, but it's near Walmart so you can shop downtown and buy something from Walmart to get validated as a means of finding parking other than street.COVID Info: Mask required, and they have hand sanitizer at the front.
