Daiichi Ramen

Need some soup todayGlad Daiichi reopened in Kapolei and the parking is so much better next to the old Kapolei movie theater. During the winters, I love getting the ramen combo with tonkatsu ramen, shrimp fried rice, fish katsu and an order of gyoza. My last visit here, I got there before 5pm on Saturday and I was able to get the happy hour free gyoza. It came with four pieces and I got them fried this time. Every time I've come, no matter what day of the week, service here is consistent; it's fast, the food is great and the staff members always kind and helpful. And so this place is a family favorite of ours. Some local places, even when they're newly opened, is just blah. Love the classic woodsy and current decor. Plenty of light coming in and so in the afternoons, the blinds have to be drawn. Always a satisfying and over-indulged experience at Daiichi. We will see you soon.

We were sat as soon as we walked in. Not crowded and I appreciated the quick seating. The food we ordered came out very quickly. There was a mix up with my Chicken Katsu w Curry Plate, but the server only heard the Chicken Katsu part. The mix up was easily fixed. The food was not great. It came out hot, but that was the best thing bout the food. The gyoza was bland and soggy. Noodles were slimy and the shrimp and chicken Katsu was hard not crunchy. Pork fried rice was the only good thing.

When I am in the mood for ramen, this is my go to place. There's others in the neighborhood, but for some reason, I like this place. The service is awesome, and the environment is nice. Always good food and lots of parking.

Was in the area and craved ramen for dinner. I used to be a regular at the Pearl City location when I spent most my time there but this location was just as good. My go-to is the tan tan ramen. So delicious and seasoned well! I love the egg, meat and fish cake that come with it. Service is good, when walking in you're greeted and asked to sit wherever you like which is nice. The chicken katsu curry is also so good. Would come back again.

Friendly and fast service. I wasn't sure on time I had to eat my meal. Food came out quickly. Nice and hot on a some what rainy evening.

Food wasnt good. I got a wonton ramen and it too salty to even eat. The broth didn't taste anything like normal ramen broth and wasn't flavorful at all. Noodles didn't taste fresh and tasted like cheap store bought stuff. Also got a chicken katsu and the katsu was dry, very mediocre. At least it was empty inside and the food came out really fast...

Happy they opened a new Daiichi Ramen in Kapolei especially since the Ewa location closed a couple years ago. I'm no stranger to Daiichi so I'm very familiar with this restaurant. Daiichi Ramen tastes way better than their competition. It's located next to the Kapolei Consolidated Theaters right next to Broke Da Mouth Grindz which was closed tonight due to "extreme staffing shortages" so I discovered this new Daiichi Ramen location. Ordered the Gomuku Ramen today but my usual is Tan Tan Ramen. Tasted good as expected and the service was excellent. My server checked on me twice during my meal. They have 6 different condiments on the table along with a container of chopsticks. The prices are very reasonable and they have free gyoza between 2:30 - 5:00pm. They also have a grand opening special of 15% off your bill until 10/15/2023. Will definitely be back when I want to eat ramen.

i love this place! It was my second time at this Daiichi location and the service was fast and sweet! love the portions they give here, and i will come back when i crave beef curry & tantan ramen

This is by the Kapolei theaters, the older one. We came on a Saturday after noon a little after lunch around 230pm and it was empty...just how I like it lol the workers were nice to greet us and the place was really clean. The place was pretty spacious I must say. Our server took out orders and always filled our waters. You cannot beat ordering the combo meal. I got the mini ramen with black garlic which was additional. My sides were takoyaki and mini curry. I must say, the mini curry wasn't mini it was pretty regular size looking lol I couldn't finish most of it so we took it home and had it for dinner. Everything tasted great! I did however take down a star because we ordered gyoza but the server did not mention anything about getting free gyoza during their happy hour until we paid and got in our car and seen the window display. Our fault also we should've looked prior.

If i could i wouldnt have given a star! Terrible service from when we got sat down, being rushed to order and after explaining 3 times what I wanted i was hoping she wrote it down. I Asked a few questions about the menu and she seemed annoyed, cocky attitude and just straight rude! What are u a server for if u dont smile or greet your customers, make them feel welcomed!? So after getting the food I noticed 10 minutes go by she forgot my plate after telling her 3 times. I felt I kept my composure.. I mean my family is all eating and where is my plate???! Had the manager come out but you know what? What a big mistake he shows no empathy or anything..I SHOULDVE KNOWN SOMETHING WAS WRONG WHEN THE CUSTOMERS BEFORE US WAS UPSET AND WALKED OUT NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!TERRIBLE SERVICE, MANAGEMENT AND THE FOOD WAS SHITTY ANYWAYS want good food and service? Go to any other place.. this place is not it.
