Da Fresh French Coffee & Island Style Smoothie

Smoothies in Honolulu, Hawaii...I was going to get lunch from Lunch Box next door and parked in front of Da Fresh French Coffee & Island Style Smoothie. I thought - since I'm here, I may as well... Especially since my friend, Donna O., wrote a review... Must be good, right?This shop on Sand Island Access Road took the place of Thang's which has other locations at City Square and Maunakea Marketplace. Donna said that there's a new owner with the same recipes! I just appreciated the free parking along this strip of small businesses in an industrial area.I decided on the Dragon Fruit Smoothie - the red one instead of the white one... For more nutrients, hopefully! Boba was included - it was soft and chewy! The smoothie was great - not too sweet and very refreshing!This is a takeout place only, so, stop by for a quick pick-me-up! There are coffee drinks here, too!

This is the only place to go when your crazing a real fruit smoothie with boba! Changed the name for some reason, maybe owner change? But came here to pick up 3 drinks as they task the exact same. Can't go wrong with the strawberry taro!

Da Fresh French Coffee & Island Style Smoothie (DFFC&ISS) is the new smoothie /coffee place which took over the former Thang's French Coffee & Bubble Tea location at 111 Sand Island Access Road. It's a new business and owner but she reassured me that the recipes were still the same. It was great to be able to have those fresh smoothies again from the same location. It has been so hot lately and as I was on my way to show a friend Sand Island Beach park, I noticed a new place " da Fresh". I made sure to stop by on my way out. It was located next to L&L Drive-Inn in the Sand Island Business Center.I I'm glad DFFC&ISS were opened til 4pm on Saturdays. Note their last order is taken before 20 minutes of closing. Most of the surrounding businesses were closed already. The lady, possibly owner, was so nice to help with my decision. I do like Pineapple, Mango, Watermelon, Blueberry, and Lychee. She suggested some good combination favorites like Mango with Pineapple, Blueberry with Strawberry or Watermelon with Lychee which I got with boba. My friend decided on the same.Wow you can taste the watermelon which was refreshing and the lychee gave it a nice sweetness.On the menu, were some coffee drinks/smoothie and listed some other popular combinations. I like it that they use fresh fruit for their smoothies. Service was great and the wait time was fast. There were chairs to sit as we wait but there were signs requesting "Please NO in store consumption on the premises!" Probably the reason why is to keep your mask on while inside for the safety of everyone. It was indeed a refreshing drink and will return to try the other fruit combo flavors! We decided to try a new bubble tea place because our regular bubble tea places have been letting us down lately. This was the MOST refreshing bubble tea we have ever had. I ordered the Thai tea and Mango bubble tea. First off, The price is right for the size. The Thai tea was $5.50 and the Mango was $6.00. The Mango was amazing! It tasted like there was real fruit in it. It was so rich and creamy. The Thai Tea was super refreshing too. The pearls were just regular tapioca pearls, I wish they had honey pearls, Then that would make these drinks PERFECT! We definitely will be back for more!

I work nearby so this place is super convenient for real fruit smoothies, some of my favorites are mango and orange and the coffee smoothie with boba.

Great little spot located in sand island. The owner was very nice and she makes a killer Lychee smoothie!! I added jelly with my order and i loved it!! The smoothy was very balanced and not overly sweet!! Highly recommend!!!

I love Thangs but unfortunately, I don't think this is the same caliber. I get the same smoothie at Thangs and I think Thangs has more fruit in it because the one here was more bland. And she was generous with the pearls but I didn't like them which made it harder to drink bc I was avoiding them. And even left about a 1/4 of my drink. I didn't care for the texture as much. I personally prefer the other locations

Haven't been here since it was Thangs. I got some drinks and talk about it being watered down. I couldn't even taste the fruit. Majority was just ice. Now I know and will just drive to Thangs up the street.

I had a honeydew Boba drink barely had any green color more like just crushed ice with a horrible taste both the Boba and the smoothie. The place looked unkept. Not sure if it would pass inspection. No other customers inside and I can understand stand why. I threw the drink away after a couple of sips. Bad after taste.
