Food comes out hot and fast and is tasty. It's very air conditioned so bring a sweater or something to cover up in. Get takeout and go to Foodland to shop while you're waiting and food will be ready. It's always fast which is nice when you're hungry. However the most notable thing about this place is the service. The woman who is always there - I've been there at night and during the day weekends and weekdays - she works hard and is so friendly and really treats her customers like close friends. We've seen her talk to a large group of tourists (how did they end up in market city?) and patiently walk them through the menu and figure out seating. We've seen her enthusiastically greet individuals who may be regulars and she asks them about how they're doing or if so and so will join them. She's kind and friendly and warm to the point that the hub and I always comment on it when we go.

Da Best Pho is actually not the Da Best Pho Place to visit. I've been here twice, and the first time was a different experience because the waitress/owner knew my aunt, a regular customer, so she was nice. Fast forward to going here with my family without my aunt, and it was so deeply uncomfortable. She was so unfriendly, so rude, and so visibly unhappy with an extremely bad attitude. When we asked for steamed bean sprouts, she was upset. She literally SIGHED out of frustration. This is an example of what the Aloha spirit IS NOT about. At other restaurants, they would be like, sure, of course! She was really upset and took it out on anyone who was near her. It's really quite sad. My sister was so uncomfortable, we just wanted to eat our meal and leave, but it is very unlikely we would go back or recommend this restaurant. Really, really bad customer service like others have described. There are plenty of great pho restaurants in Hawaii, but this is not the one.

I'm being kind by giving three stars. I am because the service was very good, and the dac biet pho had a decent serving of tendons and meatballs. I'm only giving three because I am a 100% positive I got food poisoning from their vegetables. I bought two dac biets and ate one soon after buying it and ate the basil and sprouts even though it had a funky smell. I reheated it just in case but apparently not enough and suffered for it. Two or three days later I smelled the basil and a sprouts from the other pho and it smelled really bad and funky. The noodles and meats, and soup didn't smell that way and I ate it without the veggies and had no problem. But the veggies smelled so bad I had to throw it out before eating. I do not fully blame them because I ate something my better judgement told me not to. But the veggies should never been served.

Had a work lunch here today. It was my first time but heard good things about this place. It did not disappoint. I got the 16B beer ribsteak + brisket. The part that makes to pho for me is the broth and this one was really tastey. My coworker had the oxtail soup with rice. She gave me one of the oxtails and it was on point. I will def be back to get the oxtail soup or other things that looked good on the menu.

Darn! Waited for a short while and no services, so we just be left! Perhaps, they are shorthanded. Too bad, but no plan to return again.

Located in Market city shopping center on the top floor by Foodland supermarket and other restaurants. Went there for dinner and noticed the sign Da Best Pho so decided to try it because we love Pho and dine at many pho restaurants. The restaurant is clean, but the worker wasn't too friendly or helpful and the way she talks to customers is pretty rude, maybe a bad day because seems she had to wait on tables and wash dishes. The combination ba min was ok and the vegetables were fresh, but the bread was not crispy or warm normally they toast the bread so it comes out warm and crispy, but soft inside. They only have medium and large Pho the medium looked like other restaurants small and they didn't give much vegetables, but the portions of noodles and the thick cuts of tendon was good.Restroom and parking is shared by all other restaurants and businesses.

I was super hungry after checking out Ben Franklin at Kapahulu, and there were only two restaurants I haven't tried behind. One was closed while the Da Best Pho Vietnamese Noodle House & BBQ was open. As we walked in, we were greeted with a nice smile from this lady. I ordered oxtail soup with rice & crispy spring rolls. The oxtail meat was perfectly cooked. The meat was tender and soft. I like the Chinese cabbage and mushrooms mixed in the soup. It added additional flavors & texture to my soup. My only wish is that they add something in the broth to add more flavor. I don't know about you guys but the broth is my favorite part. And this broth was good but could be made better. It was missing something else that would make it flavorful. It wasn't bad but it could be made better. The crispy spring rolls were crispy and had a light flavor. I think the Nước chấm or nước mắm (fish sauce mixed with chilies and carrots) is very light in flavor. There's something missing...I will say the I love the quotes around the restaurant. It gave me a good feeling and I somehow felt. They are located 2919 Kapiolani Blvd Unit 206D. They are behind Ben Franklin in Kahapulu/Market City.

This was the first restaurant we visited after landing at Waikiki. We ordered three rice plates (bbq chicken, bbq pork & shrimp) and a bbq pork & spring roll vermicelli noodle entree. As for flavor, the grilled pork was the best. It was flavorful and juicy. The chicken was also juicy but it didn't have the same flavor profile as the pork. Instead, it tasted more of a ginger chicken than bbq chicken. Hubby ordered the shrimp but he didn't offer me a piece so I have no comment on that. The restaurant is clean and the ac was on so that was a plus. The employee that took our order, was also the cashier. She was quite friendly was customer service was good. Unfortunately, I didn't see a restroom so I'm not sure if there was one available for customers to use.

Called ahead for a party of 9 and was met with kind staff that already filled water, waiting for us.Service here is top notch, food done really well, and of high quality. This place opens up at 9am also which I appreciated since we just finished a hike and was looking for some food in the area. Pho here is reasonably priced, with M and L options, one of the best spicy/savory chili oils on island, with it tasting much different than other restaurants on island. Summer rolls, spring rolls, rice plates and the vermicelli was also done well my family said. The lady even came by after we paid our tab with candy for my family as well.Top tier restaurant with relaxed casual vibes here. Will stop by over and over, before our usual donut king visit next door.Mahalo Nui!

Business is located at Market City Shopping. There are plexiglass partitions between tables, words on wall that wear inspirational. A Tv was showing Vietnam with shopping. There was good selection on menu and combination A, B, and C. We ordered combination B and C which was affordable and yummy. Spring roll was crispy. I tasted the small sandwich with pate that I didn't like. My friend took it home.
