There is nothing more nostalgic in Hawai'i than a Crack Seed Store. If you grew up here, you probably have memories of coming here after school for an icee and li hing mui seed snack. On a hot Hawai'i afternoon, there's nothing like it. This is a small shop-- around 1-3 people at a time can really be in there at a time shopping. So there may be a line forming at times, but it's never too long of a wait at all. There is a paid lot nearby or some metered street parking. It can be a bit tricky right after school hours or on the weekends, but usually it's not too hard to find a stall around here. There is just so many different types of crack seed snacks that they sell by the pound here. They have a poster menu out front that showcases all of their offerings. If you've never been to a crack seed store before-- I would definitely take a look at that and decide what you wanna try because it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what anything is when you get inside. With that said, the service here is amazing. The ladies running the shop are so nice and helpful!

The space is tiny, the customer service is efficient. The best part for me is that it's not actually in Chinatown, there's ample parking, reasonably clean, and they fit so much into that space. Organization is well done, efficiency is key, know what you want or decide quickly, or get skipped. I like coming here for mooncake in the autumn for an assortment of mini mooncake. Theres not as much selection as sing chong (no mochi skins) and just a sampling of flavors but they are convenient.

It is an after-school or anytime snack/seed/Icee stop. 2 ladies are running the shop now and they can be quite fun! They have a rainbow of a variety of dried fruit snacks, Icee and other treats. It's a small but clean and packed store. The ladies will touch the heavy glass jars to fill your selection and seal up your treats. There is pay street parking and there is a pay parking lot in the backside.

I love this old school crack seed store! They have excellent variety and will bag the seed in 1/4, 1/2, and 1lb bags. The shop is small so it's polite to wait outside if there are a few people inside. The glass jars take me back to small kid time, prices are reasonable and product is ono!

Located on KOKO head Ave on the corner of Koko head and Waialae Ave. They have 121 different kinds of preserved dried fruit and seeds and also dried packaged fruits. They were very helpful and friendly and gave us items to try, even at that there are so many items that look the same but with different names and flavors. They have parking in the municipal parking lot or they also have some street meter parking. The store is small enough to hold maybe only 3 customers if more than that you would be next to each other all the way to the entrance.Service is fast so better to wait outside until others come out, instead of crowing inside.

This place is very nostalgic to my childhood. Seed taste the same as what I remember which is good. The store was a bit tiny which is authentic to a typical local crack seed store. Service was great which the ladies were helpful with me trying to decide what I was looking for.
