Cosmopolitan Sun Shop

We are from CA and stopped by looking for something that would fit our bodies well. The owner helped us pick a few styles and fromthere we were able to find something we each really loved! Shops been there since 1972 and is family owned. Very helpful, store is clean and well organized. In reference to price, I don't mind paying more $40-60 a piece top or bottoms that are going to fit me well. The standard 100lb swim suit model suits found at every surf shop don't compliment me well, give this shop a try if you want options!

Expensive and hella touristy over here in this shopping center, but the selection is SOLID. Wife walked away with 3 surf bikinis that look like they'll stay in place while catching waves. We've been to a lot of places and was surprised that they had everything she needed. The super skinny sales associate was really nice, too, but she needs to eat more. Was very concerned for her health. Poor thing. Need one sandwich or something lidat. Sometimes vegan no can, yeah?

Came here after walking by one night (the store was closed) and seeing cute one-piece suits in the window. I came with a friend and the young lady working made us feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time there. I was interested in one suit in particular, but the whole time I rushed because of how uncomfortable I felt in the store. The lady working had no customer service skills, kept staring at me and I felt like I was being judged. I've been to a lot of swimsuit boutiques and having great service goes a long way. Mind you, the store is very small and it felt like she was staring at us the whole time. These suits are not cheap which I expect for a small place but maybe work on your people skills when you get a chance. Won't be coming here again.

Remember when travelling was a thing, before this whole Covid? Well, my wife and I were in Hawaii, and stopped into this shop. She picked out a few bikinis (which made me wonder...why she bothered packing two bathing suits!!!). As I browsed around the place, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the staff was. I also liked the selection of merchandise. Now, I had always swore, I would NEVER become one of those dudes over 50, with a big belly and receding hairline, that would succumb to the purchase of a Hawaiian shirt. But...they had shirts that I loved, and...well, when in Rome, right? So I bought a couple.

Dianna was so sweet and friendly. My girlfriend and I had no intention of buying anything, however her selection of volcom, billabong, and other super cute bathing suit designers along her welcoming personality kept us in the store browsing. I normally don't purchase name brand items but made an exception in this case when I found my prefect Hawaii shirt to take home. My girlfriend ended up getting a pair of pineapple earrings by a local designer. Super cute boutique! Must stop by.

Summer vacation is here & decided to celebrate with a new swimsuit .... went in and gathered about eight suits to try on - of course ended up buying my first pick ! It is a small boutique with a wide selection of swimsuits, dresses, cover ups, hats, etc. - I have been going here since high school and always get the BEST service from the owner Mrs. Sappal..... she is very sweet and helpul !! plus I LOVE supporting our local neghborhood business !!** Roxy, Quicksilver, Billabong, Leilani, etc **

This is a great store. The customer service is off the charts and such a great selection of bikinis and accessories. I wasn't even shopping for a beach umbrella but found this super cute new brand of umbrellas that had killer patterns and fringe. Also the only umbrellas I have seen that are 100% UV. Very fun to take to the beach. Shop here and you will find things that you can't live without.

The swimsuit store is a 40 plus year old establishment in Hawaii Kai owned by a family. Specifically located in koko marina shopping center. This is a great small boutique like store to come to to find swimsuit finds. It's always nice to support local!

This store may have cute and pretty bath suits and casual wears, but the clerk that was working in there on 7/21/2023 was very rude and no customer service experiences. Obviously, she wasn't the manager when I asked her to see one.She immediately kicked me out when I stepped two foot in the store because I had my small dog with me. I was in UPS store across the street and Safeway prior to walking in this store, (Cosmopolitan Sun Shop). They were so nice and welcoming me in the store with my dog.But, this clerk said, keep your dog out! I asked why, because there were no Sign "No Pets Allow" or "Service Dogs Only". Her reply was, we have all these things in this store. (No food)!To all the dog owners. Don't waste your time going to this store with your pet. Go to Ala Moana Shopping Center or TJ MAX or Nordstroms Rack because they allow pets.

I stumbled upon this store while waiting for Kona's Brewing and it was awesome! They have a great selection of swimwear for men, women, and kids. Plus tanks and tees. They also sell snorkel gear to use at nearby Haunama Bay. I bought two hats because I couldn't decide which one I liked better. :P
