In Kamehameha Highway. Restaurant has an extension of gift shop. We saw this place everytime on our 2 trips in Oahu and we finally stopped by to try them. It did not disappoint. Service is pretty quick to order but can take 10 mins for your order to arrive. The cashier is not friendly at all. Which is odd to find in Hawaii because they are mostly welcoming, not this particular guy. Inside seating is limited. Half of it has a reserved sign, so if you come here on a busy time you won't be able to dine in. Food: Huli huli chicken- is the best! Moist and cooked perfectly! Highly recommended and I gave it a solid 5 stars! Seasoning is well balanced, every bite is enjoyable. This is a must try. Fried snapper- I was surprised of how moist and fresh this fried snapper. It lacks of seasoning but not in a bad way as long as you pair it with the mac salad. Not overcooked. Beef Teriyaki- this is my least favorite. Nothing special, the beef is a little overcooked and became chewy. I gave it a 2 stars. Parking- is not so bad. Restaurant is located on the side of the main street, that can be hard to miss if you have no GPS.

I will stop for huli huli chicken. The smoke in the air and smell of bbq lure me in every time. The huli huli chicken at Coral Kingdom is a smaller, leaner bird or maybe I'm just accustomed to oversized rotisserie chickens. That smaller size allows the smoke to permeate through the skin and meat to the bones. It also means more skin to meat ratio, and the crispy skin is the best part. The chicken comes with a seasoned, sweet soy sauce on the side, but I skipped it, I liked the chicken, simple and as is. You can get the chicken whole or they will chop it up for you. Add some rice and mac salad and you're good to go.

We stopped by here after visiting Kualoa Ranch, mainly to try the Huli Huli chicken since my friend had highly recommended it. The place has both a restaurant and a gift shop, so you can browse around while waiting for your order. We decided to get a half chicken to go. The skin was perfectly crunchy and chewy, which I loved. The chicken itself was tender and moist, but unfortunately, it lacked much flavor on its own. It really needed to be paired with the sauce to bring out the full taste.

Coral Kingdom is a food counter and souvenir/gift shop located by Kualoa Ranch. You'll see a man roasting the chickens fresh outside in the front. You place your order at the counter and wait for your number to appear and grab your order then a seat. They have tables inside and outside. There are also restrooms inside. The Huli Huli chicken is so tasty. The marinade is flavorful and the sauce for dipping/pouring adds even more flavor. The macaroni salad is tangy and balances out the sweetness from the Huli Huli chicken. The service is great and you can be in and out quickly. There's plenty of souvenirs to look at after you eat or while you wait for your order. Coral Kingdom is a great spot to stop at while you're driving around Oahu.

I accidentally discovered Coral Kingdom while driving around Oahu a year ago. It honestly doesn't look like a place I would usually eat; the space itself is mainly a gift/jewelry shop with a counter inside. But once I parked and smelled that fresh food outside on the grill, I knew I made the right decision. I was happy to be able to visit again this year, and found the food to be as delicious as I remembered. I opt for the spicy grilled shrimp, which is not so spicy that it loses flavor. Last year there was only outside seating at picnic benches and a few small tables. This year the seating inside was open. Service is always quick, and there is plenty of parking.

This spot was damn good! Went on a adventure at a ranch nearby and came here after looking for something to fill me up and this did exactly that. I got the garlic shrimp with rice and Mac salad and it was damn good. The shrimp was tasty lots of garlic and not over cooked and the sides were super good too. Mango smoothie tasted like sweet ripe mango. Would def come back

Little startled by the low reviews. My wife and i were hungry, on this back-road highway when I saw smoke riising form an open-pit BBQ, so I pulled in. The "restaurant", curio shop, home, etc. is iffy...but eclectic. The food was outstanding. As we walked in I saw a man cooking whole chickens on an open-pig BBQ. They looked great. My wife ordered, the half chicken, I ordered the garlic shrimp. Both were outstanding. Both came with a scoop of macaroni salad and a scoop of of white rice. They also provided a teriyaki based sauce (they had a a name for it, something like Hoi, hoi sauce or similar, not important to this story. The food is great. The folks are happy and pleasant, the atmosphere is that of small-town America.

Came all the way from California for the garlic shrimp. I ordered it without shell which changed the flavor a bit. Was a bit disappointed. Next time I will be ordering it shell on!

Their hulihuli chicken is one of the best on the island. Great and friendly service. My go to spot on the way home after a day at the beach.
