I noticed this coffee shop in December and made a mental note to check it out if I was in the Liliha area, which I had the opportunity to visit last week.Conversations is a tiny, quaint coffee shop on the corner of Liliha, a cute space that holds a coffee bar and an area with indoor tables and outdoor tables with chairs to drink your coffee or tea, read (they have wifi) or carry conversations if you're having a date, study time or friends outing. The place has character and an artsy with a relaxing vibe. It is far from the minimalist aesthetics that some coffee shops go for these days, which I appreciate that these type of coffee shops like Conversations because they are bring back the aesthetics of relaxing and just enjoying the surroundings that will inspire your creativity as well as pacing yourself instead of rushing (if that makes any sense). Think of the vibe of how Starbucks used to be before incorporating minimalist decor (imo the concept is edgy now). As local, small coffee shops are bringing back the aesthetics of friendly, warm, and relaxing as you drink your mocha and eating a peanut butter and banana toast, I realize that I want coffee shops that look different from the mainstream coffee shop, and Conversations excelled in that department.Price: ReasonableCustomer Service: Friendly and helpfulRecommend: Highly

Conversations Cafe is a true delight!I stopped by recently and enjoyed their Lavender Latte and Kaleidoscope Bagel--both were incredible. The Lavender Latte was expertly crafted, with a rich, creamy texture and a subtle floral note that wasn't overpowering. It was a perfect balance of sweetness and sophistication. The Kaleidoscope Bagel was not only visually stunning but also delicious. The bagel was fresh with a perfectly chewy texture, and the cream cheese spread added a creamy, tangy complement that brought everything together. The service was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel like a valued guest. They were attentive, quick with recommendations, and genuinely passionate about the menu. The ambiance of the cafe is another highlight. It's cozy and welcoming, with soft lighting, thoughtful decor, and an artistic vibe that sets the tone for a relaxing experience. Whether you're here to work, catch up with friends, or simply unwind, it's the perfect space. The background music was just right--not too loud, so I could fully enjoy my time. This is the kind of place you'll want to visit again and again. Can't wait to return and explore more of the menu!

Located in Liliha next to Creations By You. First time trying this Cute cafe since we previously met the owner Wendy. They have nice indoor & outdoor seating with seasonal decor & cute accessories for sale.Food:We ordered the Small Açaí Bowl, Breakfast Bagel with Turkey. Includes egg cheese & bacon. I removed the bacon.Drinks: I ordered a Large Oat Latte - HotI saw that they have ChagaChinno, but I prefer No Caffeine so I requested a custom iced ChagaChai with Almond Milk. The girls were nice enough to make it. Thanks Kitty & Robin!I'm an Almond Chai Latte connoisseur - always trying different versions of it. :) Both drinks were Excellent!! Acai Bowl was really fresh and lovely presentation. Flavors were great!!I requested Breakfast Bagel with Turkey, no bacon.Good quality Bagel. All was delish! We enjoyed talking story and meeting the family. Def a must-try if you're in the Liliha area! Mahalo Wendy & staff! Many blessings!

What a great place for conversations. It's very comforting and a relaxing atmosphere. The owner Wendy and her staff was very friendly and courteous. The acai was very tasty with fresh fruits. The bagel was filling and flavorful. We chatted for awhile and she gave us a brief history of her company. We also had a hot oat latte and ice chaga chai with almond milk. Both were very flavorful as well.Great experience and can't wait to try other items on our next visit.

This little cafe is so cute. It's small but have few seating outside and inside. Has variety of drinks, hot & cold & shakes. Salads and sandwiches has many choices too. Also lots and lots of cute little items (keychains, accessories, stuffed animals). It's located in the corner of Liliha and Kuakini street. It's right next to pink craft store. There are metered street parking along Liliha street.I had Golden Moon Milk (almond milk, turmeric, maca, honey, cinnamon). 16oz is $6.50. It was delicious! I wasn't expecting to be that good. Now when I see this cafe, I'll be thinking about Golden Moon Milk and want to drink it again. Salads sounded good so maybe one day I'll try it.

If you're in Kalihi and craving some good coffee/tea and lunch/dessert, give Conversations a try. It has beautiful decor on the outside and inside and gives the place a welcoming vibe. Tried the brown sugar latte, Turkey Bacon Sandwich, Chicken Bahn Mi, and Monster Claw. The brown sugar latte was delicious, rich, and flavorful. The turkey sandwich was made with organic turkey I believe not your thinly sliced pieces. The Chicken Bahn Mi was packed with flavor and was my favorite. The Monster Claw was delicious also and complimented the delicious sandwiches. I'll definitely be back to try other items on their menu and drinks. There's bar seating facing the windows and a few tables inside and tables outside. They also sell lots of cute Hello Kitty and other items in the store. The owner and workers were very friendly as well.

All these years we lived right up the road from here and we finally checked out the place. Inside is small, cozy, and cute. It's a family owned business. Very friendly and well-behaved furbabies are welcome. They also have a few outdoor seatings. We ordered a Bagel & Schmear, Butter Croissant (but they mistakenly gave us the Breakfast Sandwich Croissant) Small Acai Bowl, Chocolate Malt Shake, and Mocha Shake. Everything was so yummy. Now, if I feel like having an Acai Bowl but don't feel like driving far, I can come here! or even for some Shakes. (Of course, the big perk is that I can bring my dog with me). As we were eating in, the flow of people coming in kept on coming and seems that most are regulars.Don't forget to get a stamp card as well!

I'm very surprised to be giving this place a 5 star rating, but in a good way! I first started to come to Conversations because my job was sending me to the Liliha location often. When I first came to conversations, it was okay, nothing spectacular, it seemed like they were relying on the hype of their rainbow bagels to survive. I've been here a few times now and I'm happy to say they've gotten better every time. I went in going to try their Mrs. Crabbitz, but since it was cold outside I wanted something warm. I casually mentioned that to the woman at the register and she said they have soup! Note to self (and to you reading this): have a conversation at Conversations! The staff are so friendly and really embodied 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' It is important to note the decoration and products are centered around a love for God. But don't let that stop you from trying their food! I decided to get a turkey, pesto panini with a side of their broccoli cheddar soup. I waited in the cafe and they brought me my order with the soup ready for transportation. I didn't let them know I wasn't eating there, but that extra care in packaging really made an impression. It's one thing to have a hype product for a new business, it's another to be consistently improving your business and Conversations isn't stopping anytime soon. I look forward to coming back and seeing what else is new. God bless this business!
