CocoNene - Kahala

I want to give a special thank you to Maurice from CocoNene for helping us design, package and have an amazing experience. He was a pleasure and made the exquisite products even more enjoyable.

A slight pivot...This Kahala Mall locations shop has been one of the last location to carry slippers and though they've always have these cute and customizable decor items it seems like they've gone fully into this direction and what a lovely change it is. Once carrying unique footwear now you can decorate your space with fun and vibrant clocks, frames and expressive items that you can definitely keep for yourself or share for that special someone.I was shopping for a work buddy who's moving on to greater adventure and was just wandering around Kahala Mall and decided to give them a peek and love the layout of this spacious shop is like browsing around an art gallery.The staff is very nice and pleasant as I browsed around love to see a lounge area as well for those that need a break while others shop is truly a comforting place to find that unique item made special is fun and don't forget to sale section that's in the back of the shop right beside the ornament wall.Thank you!

CocoNene is a cute store at Kahala Mall. There's a wide range of elegant Hawaii lifestyle decor! I love the art prints and luggage tags. It makes really nice Christmas gifts.What bummed me out is the service. I was looking at the slipper selection when I overhead a customer asking Madeline for another shoe size. Madeline sounded annoyed by the customer asking the question.I watched the customer leave the store empty handed. It was just me and another girl in the store now, so I was feeling nervous. I picked out my slippers and went to check out. Madeline rung me up. She talked about how the store is switching to 100% Hawaii made products, but it sounded scripted and inauthentic. Maybe I'll have a better experience the next time.

Great selection of slippers, bought me a new pair of 'Olukai slipahs. Love and not going to throw at anybody, they'd keep them! The store had a few walls of slippers/ shoes with a good variety of sizes and colors. The young lady who helped me was nice and pointed out the style type of slipper I was looking for, you know the go out to dinner kine.They also had a nice collection of local made wood stickers and collages, I really loved some of the clocks they had!A wonderful store to shop and great gift idea for any special occasion, oh and the cards are very nice too.Next time in Kahala I'm stopping there again

We came in looking for a wedding gift for our relatives living on the mainland. It was a pleasant surprise to find that there was an option for a customizable wooden decor. They have a huge selection of pieces ranging from more decorative pieces, to photo frames, and even clocks to choose from. I love that CocoNene supports local artists as well!

Island Sole features Hawaiian-made products is located in Kahala Mall. The sell several different brands of "flip flop" wear including the coveted (and expensive) Olukai brand. I arrived early on a Wednesday and received excellent service. I picked out a pair of Olukai white sandals that I had seen earlier in the week. The clerk encouraged me to select a smaller size with a better fit. Their Olukais run at $82 but they do have a few styles on sale. They also carry a small wide variety Reef and Birkenstock sandals for women, men and kids. They carry local artistic signs, decor and giftware as well. This is a fun shop to check out if you want aloha experience.
