Club Soomi

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago for a coworker's going-away party. A friend of mine ordered various types of food from their menu such as kalbi, steak and onion, fried mandoo, spam and green beans mix, chicken wings, and poke. Everything was pretty delicious. The food wasn't something that wows you, but it does the job. The poke was probably the worst item to me only because the fish cubes was still kinda frozen so I can feel the ice as I'm biting through them.The staff are friendly and pretty fast. My friend reserved the whole place for us so the owner, Soomi, attended to us as best as you could. she was pretty much working by herself and another working in the kitchen. The karaoke system is a dinosaur, but it did great considering majority of the party were 50+ year old coworkers lol. It does look a bit shady or unsanitary, but we all had a blast. The drinks kept coming so we got ripped and apparentally sounded more amazing as we were singing lol. This place is located in Kalihi not too far from the Kapalama Canal in between Waiakamilo and Kohou Street. There are a few parking stalls in front of the door, but the rest would have to park on the street.

A harmonious sports bar.Most of the visitors are local.Satellite TV is available for all sports.And you can enjoy darts and karaoke.Especially the food(kalbi?)is very delicious:)

Just gotta say is bring cash don't charge it to your card aka "start a tab". They will add on items that you didn't order like an extra beer/ mix drink etc. I went to confront them and they made me feel like I was to drunk to know what I ordered, they did admit to 2 mistakes but not they other ones and we got into it but never again am I going here! There are tons of bars that's cheap and with better food! I believe these are the new owners and they RUDE and messed up by sneaking things into our bill! Keep doing business like that, you won't be in business very long and do it to the wrong person all I have to say is be ready to hear it.

Went here last night. The new management is awesome and the food is delicious! Also, good music! You have to order the steak and onions!!! So good! I'll be back for sure!

My favorite bar in Kalihi. Big Heinekens and very well priced. Try the food. Specifically the Mandoo. She runs the place basically by herself and is very good at it. Great service and great ambiance!!!
