Club Mermaid

This place is horrible. I thought it was pretty cool and it was called club mermaid. I'm not picky at all. I was expecting a dive bar. But I was not expecting to be scammed and ripped off. There is carpet in the whole place. You can rent out girls to sing with you Or use some rooms in the back to I am assuming "hang out" with the pretty ladies. When we first walked in, they said there was not room at the bar so they made us sit in seats. It was very dingy. I am assuming they charged us the sitting fee. They discriminate against white people especially tourists being there as they were very uncomfortable with our presence. They charge you 5 bucks a song to sing karaoke. Then they put you behind two odd clear shower curtains for Covid protocol. But they do not wipe off the microphones after each person sings. There are no menus. I think the guy that was supposed bartender was not even a bartender. I asked him to make a rum and Coke and he wasn't even sure if they had rum. I asked for a double on one of my drinks and he gave me a single , and he dumped out some of my drink and filled it with more Coke. After Drinks for 4 people Even at 15-20 dollars a well drink and ten bucks a beer and Sitting fee of 20 dollars which we were not told about. 25 bucks for the 5 songs we played It add up to 270 dollars How the hell did we get charged 350 DOLLArsThat ends up being like 30DOLLARS A DRINK before tip. With no menu ofPricing. Very shady For a trashy night bar in an alley. They abruptly tell us they are closed but no one else in the bar had to leave. I think it's a prostitution ring. This is the view for 350 dollars This company needs to be shut down and investigated.

Ahaha, oh dear. We came on a night out ready to party and there were just no people here! It's possible it depends on which night you go though :)

Holy crap! $20 just to sit down, 2 beers each (8 of us), ended up costing us $228!!! WTF??!! Do not go here...EVER! Plus, the damn place was about 90 degrees.
