Clau & Chuis Cocina

Went into Wahiawa to pick up some tote bags from Petterson's farm and decided to try the many Mexican restaurants in the area, because in Town we don't have this much Mexican restaurants.So we grabbed lunch at Clau & Chuis Cocina restaurant in the same parking lot as Walgreen in Wahiawa.I never had mole which is a sauce made of chocolate, it was very original I enjoyed it, but I don't prefer sweet, but I'm sure that was a very good mole the rest of the plate was very good and the hot sauce, they make their own which was very good it was on the more spicy side, so if you don't care for spicy this would be to hot and spicy. My wife enjoyed her choice and I tasted some it was very good and grill the outer flour tortilla with a crispy texture.They had other items that looked good that would like to try at another visit to Wahiawa. Lots of parking share with other business, the restroom and dining area was clean and service was great. I tried the special Chicken mole and my wife quesadilla with beef brisket.

Super nice staff free parking quick service. Food was pretty average. Can't wait to try new items!!

Great spot to grab some authentic Mexican food.I've tried a few dishes and loved them all. It would be awesome if they had an intown location.

Kept seeing the truck when I would drive to work and finally stopped. I got Al pastor tacos and they were delicious. I'll definitely be going back to try the other items soon.

If you want to find skimpy small burritos ($14.00 dollars) where the tortilla is clumped together and over pay for you're order this is the place. Let's start off at the menu there are great options but the price they give should have rice and beans included with the orders but they don't. The Gorditas are very small, lacking the heft of what a good size Gordita($7.00) should look/feel like. The rice was very hard that's was $3 dollars. The bean's were Luke warm and very watery, another $3 dollars for the beans. Tre leches was ($6.50 A Slice) I'm sorry but I needed my money back.!! the service is good the lady was sweet with a great attitude and gladly gave me my refund.

Just had today and I was very satisfied! Great service, great food and great hospitality. I had the Birria burrito and it was excellent. A lot of the Mexican food trucks haven't been very consistent lately but this one was a big surprise. I'm from Anaheim CA and I've lived here since '06 and having food like this really reminds me of home and that's a very rare feeling to have living here for so long. I hope this business does well in the future. Please give them a try!

Everything is so good I recommend the birria and street tacos thank you guys it was really good food !
