A great place to get the most bang for your buck! We stop by before going to the beach and have a before and after meal. 2 plates are good enough for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids).Must try: chow fun noodles and garlic chicken

This will be my absolute last time visiting any Chun Wah Kam. Who is running these restaurants? It's just terrible service and why are you always out of any type of manapua except charsiu?I always want a black bean Azuki manapua which they used to have back in the day but not anymore. Pls just don't advertise that you have any other manapuas. Stood in a long line just for them to tell me they don't have any manapuas except for charsiu.

Chun Wah is a great go to for manapua, pork hash & other Chinese foods. Lots of options for plate lunch. I like that they give you an option to do half noodles and half rice! Crispy gay gee are chonky! Efficient service. The crew is great at taking your order & remwbering without writing down. Simple setup with glass displays to see all the dishes. The line is kinda set up weird but... it works!

Ordered tofu eggplant, kau yuk, and chow funn/ginger rice for starch. Had lots of eggplant but only 2 pieces of tofu . The employees who help me at the food station counter and cashier were great for a busy Valentine's Day lunch rush. Clean seating area to do some work before heading back out. Remember: each plate is really for 2-3 people!!

We were so excited to stop by at Chun Wah Kam and so glad there's a location in Kapolei. We missed having Chow Fun, Pork Hash, Crispy Kau Gee, Steam and Baked Char Siu Manapua's and Rice Cake Hawai'i style. Service was good, you stand in line until someone calls you up to take your order and pay at the end, there were plenty of different kinds of food to choose from and seating area was spacious. On the menu:Baked Sweet Char Siu Manapua'sCrispy Kau Gee Pork HashChow FunFruit PunchWe very much so enjoyed our items we ordered, every bite was delicious! The Fruit Punch in Hawai'i is so on point! They were already out of rice cake and we were told they run out pretty quickly suggested to go during morning hours. We did get to finally have some rice cake during the week when we called in our order ahead of time. The rice cake was so bomb! Happy we stopped by to get some delicious food!

Walked in and was greeted however there was a little confusion as the sign says wait here however the lady behind the line was telling me to come on up. I was there to more check out what they had versus sitting down to eat and my SIL saw Gua gee and wanted some so I ended up ordering 6 pieces to go. I asked if they had soy sauce or duck sauce and I was told no to both but was told they gave a hot mustard (I was given one for my 6 pieces). Got to the car and found myself disappointed - although it had good flavor it was not hot nor was it crispy (seems like it had been sitting there for awhile). Ended up coming home and putting it in the air fryer and adding soy sauce while made it better. Would I go back? I would give it a try but I'm not going out of my way to get here.

Kapolei Chun Wah Kam. Our Go To place for Dim Sum and Chinese food. Same mall as Brick Oven Pizza. Large private parking lot. Service is good. Dine in seating but mostly Take Out. The original location on Kalihi Street is known for producing noodles and dumpling / lumpia wrappers. They ventured into making Manapua, Half Moon, and Pork Hash. Great decision as they've expanded into a wonderful assortment of Chinese dishes.

In all honesty, I was hesitant about eating lunch from here, but boy oh boy, what a pleasant surprise it was!My office mate was going to pick up lunch again today, would we like anything?We couldn't find a menu on Yelp or online so I guessed thinking what most Chinese food restaurants would likely serve.I ordered (1) Roast Duck or Roast Pork; (2) Beef Broccoli; and (3) chow funn. We got a phone call from our office mate that we needed to make other choices so I selected Zucchini and Chicken in lieu of my first guess.When our orders arrived, one of our group stated that she was gonna eat half and take the other half home to her daughter. But by the time she dug in, she realized that it was so good that she loudly declared that there shall be no leftovers for her daughter, sorry daughter!I had to agree with her. I too spooned out half the plate anticipating being able to finish the remainder at home only to feel sad about not allowing myself to finish the rest. So I did. I bravely finished the rest and thoroughly enjoyed it :DThere was way more zucchini than chicken but the taste was fabulous. The beef in the beef broccoli was soft and delish and the broccoli was still a bit crunchy. The noodles were al dente and very yummy!My friend surprised us with some rice cake which is sweetened rice made into a spongy, fun, flat, thick cake. It was really good!My office mate said the restaurant ppl were a little annoyed about having to wait for us to decide what to switch orders to. It would be helpful if they updated their online menus. My friend is not a Yelper and forgot to snap a photo so next time I'm there, I will take a photo and post it.I can't be sure but the take out plates at first seemed large and on second thought might not be the typical large take out plate. In fact, I think they might be just a little smaller. Whatever the case, they do pack their plates filled to the brim! Plus, the dishes are delish!! I will no longer feel sad about eating here!! :D

I don't know what it is but I went there twice this month and both times I was very disappointed. I figure give it another shot the first time I was disappointed but the second time I went it was even worse. I felt like the food was just microwaved and was made like the week before or something. I know maybe if I went right before they were closing then I understand why the food was all soggy but I was there in the afternoon maybe couple hours after they opened. I know they give a lot but I probably just ate 1/4 of what they gave and threw the rest away. Imma leave it as this. If you love quantity over quality then this is the place for you. They'll give you a lot but it's just not that great.

The amount of food that they gave was quite a bit. I love how they just packed the plate as full as possible. You know you are getting your moneys worth. Everything we had ordered was very tasty and simply delicious. The food had so much flavor and everything was cooked to perfection. The inside was clean and very spacious and very inviting. Friendly staff and quick and attentive to what you wanted. This is the perfect place to go for Chinese food. Definitely will be coming back!
