Chubby Fries & Wings

The best Lemon Pepper Wings I ever had! It's well seasoned, cooked to perfection and hot & fresh. My friend ordered the buffalo chicken and she liked her order as well. I searched online to find where the truck was going to be located. Couldn't find it so I DM the company on IG. They told me they would be at the Pearl Ridge Mall parking lot that weekend. I didn't want to stand in a long line so I got there at 4pm when it opened. To my surprise others had the same idea I had. The wait wasn't too bad I had 4 ppl in front of me. You place your order and wait for your name. There are picnic tables available for limited seating. I sat there waiting for the order. Keep in mind it is outside this is a food truck/ pop up shop. The restrooms will be in the mall. Bring your hat, sunscreen, glasses and an umbrella. It is hot as minimal breeze blow's through that area.

I tried them out at the Pearlridge Night Market on Saturdays. We ordered the seven piece wings $13. They have five flavors to choose from: lemon pepper, shoyu, sweet chili, honey bbq and spicy buffalo wild. We chose the lemon pepper and they just drenched it with the seasoning. They had put so much seasoning that it was overly salty. I had to brush off so much of the seasoning to just eat it. Even then, the seasoning was falling all over me as I ate it. Maybe I picked the wrong flavor. At least the wings were fresh. They cook it in small batches. They fry it as it is being ordered. We waited about 15 minutes to get our wings. There were two orders before ours.

Caught them at Ono Grindz & Makeke and the loaded fries were really good! Service was quick and friendly and I enjoyed how filling the fries were! Would definitely revisit to try their wings

Who doesn't love wings and fries!Chubby Wings & Fries are a pop up shop I've seen popped up on several occasions everywhere on the island...Mililani, Wai Kai and this one that I finally dove in is at the Food and New Product Show at the Blaisdell.A couple of guys are running the show this day and I thought to just dive in before it gets busy and it was just the wings on this visit...Sweet Chili Wings to be exact you're able to order them in seven, fourteen or twenty one pieces with your choice of Sweet Chili, Shoyu or Lemon Pepper though I was gravitating towards Lemon Pepper I felt like It was wings sprinkled with the seasoning which felt bleh to me so I opted for the Sweet Chili which was nice.All seven wings were tossed and coated in the sticky Sweet Chili sauce all messy and yummy, though I decided not to get their fries they were nudging me really badly...Loaded Bacon, Garlic & Parmesan, Chili BBQ or just plain fries are my weakness gah!For a place to have wing as their item three flavors are a bit depressing and wished they offered more especially at a Food and New Product show they should showcase what they can do...Salt and Vinegar, Honey Butter, Spicy...I don't know but it didn't wow me very much but it was a delicious wings.Thank you!

Went to check out What the Truck at Waikele. Hubs loves his fried chicken, so he had to give this place a try. Placed an order for the Lemon Pepper wings ($14). Positives - they arrived hot and crispy. However, hubs thought they were a bit dry. He also noted that he didn't think the wings were seasoned prior to being fried but rather flavored by the seasoning being thrown on after.

We were able to try their food again last night during my son's pep rally at school. They had the longest line and even though our order took about 15-20 minutes everything came out fresh and very delicious! I'd say their lemon pepper was the best lemon pepper we've ever tasted on the Island. My kids love their loaded fries. Those folks were also super friendly! Mahalos!

Our family loved the food from Chubby Fries & Wings. The service was super friendly and the cook time was reasonable. They accommodated us having the sauce on the side - since my kid is picky about sauce. We first enjoyed their food at the Wai Kai Market and then at the Pearlridge Market. The food was tasty both times and we will be back again.

First time eating here it was goood chicken was cooked perfect no dry the place we was at was a pop up but was still killahz food was ono.

I love Chubbies, their food is always made with love and the family who owns this business is very knowledgeable when it comes to their menu items! My favorite item from this pop-up vendor has to be the Lemon Pepper Wings; It has the perfect mixture of citrusy and peppery flavors. Catch them every Thursday at Wai Kai's Farmers' Market as well as other big events!

Loaded fries was disappointing. It's just fries with some sauces on top (with about 10 bacon bits; BITS not strips). It should not be $15. I asked for fork and the worker told me to get it from other vendors because they were all out. $15 fries with no utensil! Arigato!
