Chiller Express

To be honest with you - driving out of town is not my favorite thing to do, but they're only open in Kaneohe in between jacks and times supermarket. They're literally in the front of the parking lot and you'll be able to spot them with the tiki torches on the street. There's lots of parking so don't need to worry about that. I mostly came here for the steak and crab plate for $35. You can get just steak if you want. I think it's $20 and it comes with a lot of rice and a side salad with ranch or Italian dressing. I got mine medium rare since I was taking it home and it was 30 mins from Kaneohe so I didn't want it to cook it in the container during transpiration. The food maybe took about 15 mins to prepare as well. There was a small seating area. Taste was really good and I thought was worth it. I saw some interested people but a handful of them walked away - maybe it was the price but I thought it was a good deal!

Flavors and the assortment of sides to add on to the shaved ice.But the friendly atmosphere makes the shaved ice taste much better.Service was quick and friendly.

Thursday, August 22, 2024: We were in an STR in Kaneohe and we were in search of some goodies!My brother, sister, son, and I saw this truck when we were buying malasadas nearby. We love supporting small & local businesses.We came up to the window and we were warmly welcomed by the nice young man. It took a while to make a choice but I settled on mango, sour apple, and watermelon. Unsure of what everybody else ordered. These delightful concoctions were huge and so very good! The young man conversed with my brother & sister and asked where we were from. Then he gave us some nice souvenir lanyards. Island people are so hospitable and really demonstrate that Aloha spirit. I know the rest of our family members came to get their shaved ice, too!We sat outdoors on benches by the food truck in a parking lot taking in that paradise island air relishing in our onolicious Hawaiian chilled dessert. Weather was perfect for eating Blazzing Hawaiian Chiller Express shaved ice! Wish you were in California!

Shave Ice in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii...My neighbor pointed out this new Food Truck (with a train theme) in the parking lot of Windward Mall... next to the Leonard's Malasadamobile... on the corner of Haiku Road and Kamehameha Highway... It's been in our neighborhood for almost a month now...Blazzing Hawaiian Chiller Express used to be in the Kapolei area (the Leeward side of the island). This relatively new Small Local Business is run by a nice couple named Art and Carrie. They said they're going to expand the menu to include steak and crab! Wow!When i walked up to the window, I was greeted/helped right away. The menu was cheerfully explained - get up to 3 flavors in a bowl for $7.50. Toppings such as homemade mochi balls, ice cream, azuki beans, etc. have an additional charge.The list of flavors was intriguing. I finally decided on Butter beer, pickled mango, and watermelon (for color). I liked the variety and the fine texture of the fluffy ice! It was a generous portion! I wasn't able to finish! Steak and King crab for 35 bucks. I was skeptical at what you would get. Standing in line with the wind whipping, and a slight drizzle of rain. I said to myself this better be worth it. Got to meet the owner Art who took my order. He ask for my name and ask where I lived. I Said Chinatown. He yelled out to his wife. This is Gabriel all the way from Chinatown. And introduced his wife Carrie. Friendly and hard working Couple. Steaks are grilled to order so expect a short waiting time. I ordered my steak medium rare. It was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned well. The crab pieces were excellent. It was flavorful, without being drenched in salt water. It came with a butter garlic sauce. This was on the garlicky side. I want to shout out to our aunty Nadine C for posting her pictures about this place. Located after Jack in the box on Kam hwy in kaneohe share the parking with Vicky's Filipino cuisine and kaneohe dental care hawaii. They open on monday,Wednesday, and Fridays from 6pm to 8pm. Since her pictures look good we went to try um. Yes was good. We had the steak and crab. My husband said the crab had lots of meat a plus for him. The steak was seasoned just right. They have their food truck in the parking lot of the old macy in windward mall but only shave ice. The owner said they couldn't open their steak truck with the shave ice because they have another steak place in the mall. But that's okay by me. You do have to wait for your food at this little food truck because not only walk up orders but they take phone orders too. Will be back again.

SECOND REVIEW- BLAZZING HAWAIIAN STEAK Stand: After trying out Art's Hawaiian Ice we find out about their steak stand and decided to try it out too. It was OUTSTANDING! The ribeye was perfectly done with side of salad and rice. I had the Korean BBQ sauce for some added flavor although the ribeye was already perfectly done. The King Crab was delicious with thick chunks of crab. I am totally impressed with the quality and the value. This is a definite go-to for ribeye and crab!! Mahalo for such a great food experience.

Amazing friendly service at Blazzing Hawaiian Chiller Express. I had the regular Shave ice with sugar free syrups. Lemon lime and blue vanilla were great! Can't wait to come back!

Great shave ice on the Windward side. Located at the Windward Mall Parking Lot. Near old Macy's by Leonard's Malasadas. We had the keiki size for $5.50 plus add ice cream and snow cap for additional cost. Friendly service even their son was so helpful and sweet. Benches to sit. Comes with a lollipop for that extra special touch. Would definitely come back.
