Chef Kale - Hawaii's Only

Worst food I've ever eaten in hawaii. Lobster dog was mostly bread shrimp were overcooked and under seasoned don't waste your money.

I picked up a poke bowl from here for lunch today and perhaps should have gotten something with lobster which seemed to be their specialty. The poke bowl was smothered in furikake. It was way too much, made the whole bowl super salty and overrun with the flavor of furikake. I would have much rather preferred the taste of the fresh fish instead. I spent some time trying to get it out but it was too much work and I ended up not finishing it.

Don't pass up this hidden geml! They are over shadowed by the big chain shrimp shacks but their food is absolutely comparable and then some! We loved our light lunch and will drive the 50min back here tomorrow to try the rest of their menu! The lobster dog, churros and Plantaltion Iced Tea made us regulars! Friendly service and fantastic food in paradise! What else could you ask for!

The Garlic Style shrimp with rice and salad was hands down one of the best shrimp dishes that I've ever had. The shrimp was fresh and perfectly cooked. The shrimp are huge and you thry pile them on. Since we aren't big eaters, my wife and I ordered a single meal to share between the two of us, however it was so good that we ordered a second meal and stuffed ourselves. Its truly an amazing meal. Chef Kale and her crew were extremely nice and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. She even gave us pointers on how to make it when we get home. We found them after a day of ziplining at Climb Works... which was awesome. Their truck sits off to the side, away from the pack of the other trucks. We are extremely pleased that we stopped and gave them a try. If you are in that area of Kahuku you must stop and give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Yo the shrimp WAS NOT over cooked and it was seasoned to perfection. I'm huge on tender shrimp and this really hit the spot. Rice was even great quality and I love the little side salad it came with. We had Giovanni's earlier this morning - ordered the hot spicy plate and was very unsatisfied. We came here a few hours later to fix our garlic shrimp craving and we were more than satisfied! Definitely coming here on our next visit to the island! We also had the churro with blue icing and icing reminded me of cream cheese frosting it was so damn GOOD. Thanks guys!

Amazing food. The garlic shrimp is out of this world. I know Giovanni's looks crowded, but you'd be missing out if you went for that over this.

Skip the popular Giovanni's Shrimp truck and go to Chef Kale you won't be disappointed. The flavor was spot on with a generous amount of shrimp and to top it off we received a complimentary honeydew Hawaiian churro and 2 free drinks. Service was friendly and timely. Outdoor seating available. Can pay with cash or card. Definitely would return!

great customer service and amazing food.support the locals! giovanni's truck was right by this place, but we chose to eat here instead. i'm shocked as to why there weren't many people here when the food tasted amazing. 10/10, definitely coming back

Pretty good food and pretty quick too. Stopped by on our way back from the North Shore during work week in HI.

Stop by for very refreshing plantation ice tea and she gave us extra slice of pineapple! Service was great and it was just across the street from Giovanni's
