Funny thing! I found Celestial Natural Foods by finding my way to the Cosmic Kitchen! Yep, that's right! The Cosmic Kitchen is in the back of this fantastic store!This organic/natural food market is in historic Haleiwa and is a historic business in its own right! I spoke with Leilila, one of the daughters of the founder, Carter Allen, and she said her dad founded this place in 1974! (at the location it stands today!!)First, Celestial Natural Foods is a Non-GMO store! Love that!! Honestly folks, Celestial has an assortment of everything. Supplements, if you have gluten-free needs they have a lot of givings, local fresh produce, homeopathic, vegetarian and vegan goods, herbs and spices, sustainable products, reef safe sunscreen, natural beauty products, essential oils, juices, kombucha (and Kombucha on tap!!), granola, probiotics, plant based cheeses, Dr. Bronner's products, flours, all sorts of plant based flours, snacks... think Whole Foods but in a family owned, local small town way. It's a smallish type store but it is jam packed! I really, really like it has the old school store freezers, shelves, etc... and vibes. It's such a comfortable, like a "you've been here before" kind of store. Celestial was as busy as a beehive when I was there and everyone was still so friendly! Crystal, an employee there, was extremely helpful and kind. I'm just the next town over and I'm already looking forward to my friendship with Leilila and Celestial Natural Foods. It'll see you soon!

Some of the rudest, least helpful people on the North Shore work here. Their selection is good but prices are quite high on non-bulk items. Understandable though given we're on an island. Great bulk selection. But be prepared to pay through the nose while being insulted by the arrogance and haughty demeanor of the people working here. They're quite awful. Unusual for the North Shore which has the loveliest people I've ever met. Looking for another nearby organic option...let me know if you have suggestions!

Stumbling upon this shop was an experience that I will always cherish when i reminisce on my time on the North Shore. Man, Ooh man, was this store a beautiful delight. Kombucha on tap was what captured my attention from the streets and homemade chocolate covered toffee is what my heart will cherish forever.

I have been shopping here for over 15 years to get certain items that you can't get in a regular grocery store. Celestial is just okay. Pricer than other natural food stores. Just FYI, they now added a 3% convenience fee if you use a credit card. Will try to avoid shopping here because of this extra fee.

Great small locally owned health food store that always has a good selection of items including lots of locally grown produce. Very friendly and helpful staff There's also a small eatery in the back. Celestial is my very favorite store in Haleiwa Town! Thank you to the wonderful owner and family for keeping this store going for decades!

I like to support local businesses and this one hits the spot for those searching for health and wellness. The ambiance is that of a mom and pop shop for wellness. To the right you have supplements in liquid and pill form. The center of the store has shelves of pantry items and to the right refrigerated goods. They have so many items that you will not find in other stores like pure elderberry paste. Like their choice of cocojun yogurt on deck. There are many plant-based options for fellow vegans. We were pleasantly surprised to find pure sea moss as we have searched at farmers markets and other stores and failed. The workers were nice and helpful in guiding us they the store. Definitely stop here when you're in the area.

This was great it's the special of the day. Buffalo chickpea bowl with a mild spicy mayo. Definitely recommend. Order at walk up window on the side of the grocery store.

Breakfast sandwich prob one of the best vegan sandwiches I ever had. The garlic aioli took it to the top. Nice little store with pretty much any organic food and produce you are looking for. Items bit on the pricey side, but quality is good and not gonna find anything else like this within 20 miles....

Love this quaint little grocery store. But the hidden gem is the small take out restaurant in the rear of the store. Yummy vegan food and Sophia was so friendly.

I'm very impressed with this store. I've been looking for good quality eggs and they ended up having the brands I like. I also like seeing a lot of items I can't have find at Whole Foods or down to earth. I will definitely be returning.
