The portion and the price is good.i like how you can do half & half starch and two choices for the mini plate.

I am sooo stoked to have found this wagon! Broke da mouth ono grinds for a good price! Pork abobo and Pansit is my go- to combo! Always hits the spot. Generous portions and Manong Carl is a cool braddah too!

The food was mediocre at best . I found the adobo to be under seasoned no flavor at all. The pancit was very yellow in color he probably uses chicken base thus the yellow color. Mongo beans also under seasoned. Not the worst fillipino food just very average. My biggest concern is the food temperature, not hot at all like it was just sitting on a table with no sterno or heat to keep everything above 145 degrees. I just put my plate in the microwave to get everything hot . Nice guy tho very personable. I know a little bit about food .

I like the Pinakbit here, lots of vegetables. Service is quick and friendly. Easy to locate. A quick drive from Kapolei or Ewa Beach. I also like the fried chicken.

Been driving by this lunch wagon for some time now. I was actually heading over to Kamakana Alii to checkout the food court when I decided to finally stop over and try it out. So Glad I did, got my moneys worth and some lol. It's mostly Filipino food and some local dishes. I went with the three choices. Fried chicken/Pork adobo/Chocolate meat. The portions are huge, I couldn't close my plate. Chicken was fried nicely, crispy & golden brown. Pork was tender and good flavor. The owner was a man of few words cus his food did all the talking lol definitely coming back

I am conflicted about Carl's after my second time buying from him. The food was delicious, I had the pork adobo, pancit and fried chicken, but Carl (I'm assuming it's Carl in the truck) did something questionable. He had a glove on his right hand, and with that hand he was grabbing raw chicken and putting it in the fryer. With the same contaminated hand, he grabbed a styrofoam container and put it in his left hand with no glove. With the contaminated gloved hand he proceeded to grab the utensils to scoop my rice, adobo, pancit and fried chicken. With the same contaminated hand he took my money and handed me my change. AND I didn't say anything lol. I took my now contaminated money, contaminated food container, and possibly contaminated food back to the office and used Clorox wipes to wipe down my money and the outside of the container. I then heated my food in the container for about 3 to 4 minutes. I ate the food. It was delicious. I then went back to work and waited to get sick. I never did. I think I got lucky, and even though Carl's has good food at a reasonable price, I'm not sure I can let his unsafe food handling practices slide.

The food is always perfectly flavored. So satisfying to the soul! Never too salty! Excellent quality! Our family lives carls!

Fried chicken is unbelievable! Super crispy! Uncle very friendly! He put so much food that the plate no like shut! I go here at least once a week lol yessahh
