Shopping at South Shore Market in Honolulu, Hawaii...I don't know why I haven't shopped here before... Parking in the covered structure is free; there's a clean, convenient restroom nearby; and the decor is so cute!Maybe the 50 percent off is a better incentive to visit Cameron Hawaii on Black Friday!I got two Hawaii-themed denim tote bags with rainbow design for my mainland friends...my high school classmate in Virginia and my college friend in San Diego...We still exchange gifts every holiday season. This year, I will be on time!I also looked in the $5 box, the $12 specials, and the $15 items... Such good deals! Ahhh... So tempting... Hmmm... I'd better get outta here before I spend too much! LOL!Note: there's currently a 10 percent discount when you check in on your Yelp app!P.S. maximum number of people in the shop at one time is six!

I absolutely love your store and all the products. Super cute. I always try to visit it when I come to town. Unfortunately my experience yesterday with one of your sales girls was disappointing. She was very rude and super unwelcoming. When I walked in she didn't acknowledge me and other women in the store. When I asked her for help she sarcastically replied. I understand that we all have our bad days but this kind of service unfortunately will turn people away.

Cameron Hawaii recently opened in the new South Shore Market wing of Ward, and I was lucky enough to visit on Black Friday when they were having a fantastic sale on their printed canvas pouches. It's an odd phenomenon, but even though I have probably fifty pouches lying all over the place, I always seem to need more. There's something so nice about being able to compartmentalize your stuff, especially when you can accomplish this in style. It's a win-win and makes you at least feel like an adult who has their life together.Many of Cameron Hawaii's products feature different print designs, usually centered around locally inspired phrases or images. Even better, each design comes in various sizes of pouches and tote bags, and I was so tempted to buy one in every size. Also, the materials they use are of good quality, and I appreciated that the insides of the pouches were lined with a soft, silky cloth. Everyone at the store is very friendly and helpful, and I love that they are a family business. They really seem very thoughtful about the particular style and feel of their brand, and though hard to do, they have managed to craft an iteration of "localness" in their designs that is elevated and chic, yet still seemingly effortless and down-to-earth. They also sell other items like candles, pillows, hats, and printed tops, all of which are beautiful. I also was very impressed by the way they carefully and artfully wrap your purchases, practically gift wrapping it for free!Overall, I would say Cameron Hawaii is a great place to peruse if you are looking for gifts that are cute but practical. It's also the kind of place that can cheer you up with a little retail therapy, allowing you to add some extra style in your life without breaking the bank. Definitely worth a look as you do your holiday shopping!
