So good! My kids said they want me to remember it next time we visit Waikiki! Enjoyed the Katsu curry, tonkotsu ramen and creamy tan tan ramen and all were so good.

I recently visited this ramen shop and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the ramen! The broth was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of savory and umami. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chewiness. The toppings were fresh and added a wonderful texture to each bite. I especially loved the chashu - it was tender, juicy, and melted in my mouth. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. I left feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. If you're a ramen lover or just looking for a fantastic meal, I highly recommend this place. It's definitely one of the best ramen spots I've been to, and I can't wait to go back! Five stars all around!

Meh. When looking at the photos, we thought it would be a good choice since it is close to our hotel in Waikiki. When you come in, you check in at the front which is downstairs. Interior is dark and you can see the cooking area way in the back.Disliked- very very salty ramen broth (could not finish)- service was very spotty- table was sticky like it was not wiped properly- slow kitchenOkay - shishito peppersserver felt bad about the kitchen being 'understaffed' and comped us a free appetizerWith all of the other choices in the area, unlikely we will return.

10% discount for Kamaaina! It's so nice to have restaurants in touristy spots giving locals a break. The interior is cozy and we noted we missed happy hour but the discount made up for it. We ordered ramen, char siu bowl and gyoza. Waitstaff was very friendly and considerate bringing small things like forks for kids and extra bowls. That's important and great she noticed.Food arrived quickly. Portions are on smaller side but food is tasty. Ramen noodles were chewy and slurping delicious. Char siu bowl was super small but tasted delicious. Really enjoyed the gyoza. The crispy noodle like skin and the flavorful meat hit the spot. Everything was good and it's worth coming back!

Went in around 12am and there was still a lot of people! Lots of Japanese tourists. Found some street parking across the street. Low lit environment and fast service. The noodles were good! Al dente and thin. The Black garlic broth was smoky and creamy. I added an ajitama and it was really good! Creamy yolk and sweet/salty egg white, perfect! The bamboo shoots I added were not very good, in my opinion. Too mushy and vinegary. I like my bamboo shoots crispy and slightly tender. The pork was okay. A little bit too fatty and not much lean meat, which I personally prefer. Overall, great ramen. Love that is open late night!

This rating is for the entire experience. It was unfortunate because they do have good qualities. For instance, their service is pretty friendly and welcoming presence. Meaghan was probably one of the sweetest person i have ever met. She was very understanding and open to listen to feedback! This is such a great quality to have because others would have not been wanting to hear it. On that note, the food temperatures/textures weren't the greatest. I ordered the Calpico beverage, very strawberry forward and refreshing! Super fresh and definitely a yummy drink! As apps, we ordered the Negi Mayo Gyoza and the Dynamite Imitation Crab. Gyoza was straight forward and basic, I did enjoy the crisp bottoms of the gyoza. The dynamite imitation was... not it. It was not what I had expected, given the fact that it is COLD crab with the top being a "torched" dynamite sauce. I feel like the concept was there, I was just not expecting it to be cold since it's "DYNAMITE." Creamy tan tan was definitely flavorful, i added some garlic chips to add more garlicky-ness. Might be too much for people, I enjoyed the flavor of the broth though. Personally, I enjoy a nice al dente ramen. But it was a bit undercooked for my friend's liking. And I would say it could have been cooked for another minute! This is a very small hole-in-the-wall underneath Waikiki's famous karaoke studio, GS Studios. It's a cute location, but definitely got some things to fix I'd say. My friend's also got the Negi Salmon bowl. I guess they were expecting sushi rice or more flavor, but they didn't care for it. Another thing is, they do not have regular coke products. It is local beverage company that does coke and diet coke is from No Ka Oi! In my opinion, it's a bit sweeter and not as carbonated. I wish I was warned prior or if it had said that in the menu, I wouldn't mind. Overall, it's an okay spot... I would definitely only come if Meaghan and that other "new" server were as there. Food is ok. Service is superb! I'll definitely give it another shot!

One evening while I was in Waikiki, I found myself craving ramen, which led me to discover Camado Ramen Tavern. Luckily, I arrived during happy hour and took advantage of a deal on their most popular appetizer: the Camado Gyoza. Normally, five pieces of gyoza cost $8.80, but during happy hour, they're just $5.80. Happy hour runs Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Along with the gyoza, I also tried their Pork Chashu Fried Rice and Black Tonkatsu Ramen. A half plate of Pork Chashu Fried Rice costs $8.50, while the Black Tonkatsu Ramen is priced at $18.I started with the Camado Gyoza and was impressed by how hot and fresh they were. It was clear that they were made to order. Juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor, these gyoza were a fantastic start to the meal.Next, I tried the Pork Chashu Fried Rice. Unfortunately, this dish was just okay overall. I had high expectations based on the menu photo, which showed a generous portion of chashu. However, the serving I received had very little chashu, and the fried rice itself was fairly plain. Finally, I sampled the Black Tonkatsu Ramen, which features their house-made black garlic oil. The ramen is served with two pieces of chashu, ginger, green onion, and thin noodles. I ordered this dish hoping for a bold garlic flavor from the black garlic oil, but it was much milder than I expected, which was a bit disappointing.Of all the dishes, the Camado Gyoza stood out as my favorite. It's easy to see why it's one of their most popular appetizers. The gyoza was delicious on its own and even better with a touch of chili oil.Overall, Camado Ramen Tavern was an okay spot to try in Waikiki. While I've enjoyed other ramen places more, I'm glad I gave this one a shot. The service was excellent, the gyoza was fantastic, and I left feeling quite full.

Where ASH was before they relocated to the old Matteo's location. Easy to find on Lewers. We had staycay so just walked down, so not sure the parking sitch. Went early b/c we were starving and the baby was starving.I just got the Tonkotsu as pictured (charshu, shoga, negi), hubs go the Black Tonkotsu Camado Special Combo (add egg and takenoko). Baby looooved the egg. I like my noodles a little softer, but the hubs liked it. Baby ate a lot of it tho and killed the rest the next day after it got softer. My pork soooo fatty. Couldn't eat it. Took it home and cooked off the fat and it shrank to almost nothing. Shiro was pretty good tho.Lot of items on the menu said not in stock so that was junk. Got the gyoza - not bad. She said they make in house. Pretty tasty - pork super pink and soft...don't know if it is cooked thoroughly or not, so I dunked it in my shiro to cook it more.Got edamame without the spicy. Baby enjoyed that...she likes to eat the outside too. No waste. Shishito Peppers were good, but all had at least a little kick. Not typical of shishitos. Hubs and I liked, but couldn't give to the baby who normally likes them too. The staff was suuuuuper nice. Very helpful. Best part of the entire evening.

Came here because we were all craving ramen and wanted to find somewhere near the hotel; it's probably one of my least favorite restaurants I visited during my short visit here in Oahu. Seared bamboo shoots - so salty.Gyoza - server was great explaining why the meat inside was still pink (even though it was fully cooked); but it was way too soggy. And salty. Takoyaki - the best dish i got here; but a bit overcooked.Black garlic tonkotsu ramen - beyond salty. I couldn't even finish the ramen and had to down a full glass of water. Giving it an extra star because service was good; our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. He made the experience here a lot better.

Food and Service was amazing. There was 90s music playing that added to the vibe and experience.I was on a hunt for ramen late at night and stumbled upon this location on yelp.. It did not disappoint.. We had the Original and Black Garlic Ramen and it was delicious.. I will definitely be back and recommend to others.
