Victoria C. "I did my first pilates class at Pilates O Ka La and I'm obsessed! I was a little nervous since I haven't really worked out since I was pregnant which is back in April last year lol. But this was the perfect way to ease back into working out. I am used to more strenuous workouts like F45 and HIIT workouts, but I really liked how pilates works out your core muscles of your body. It's slow and steady but you can feel the burn. No wonder all the celebrities do Pilates! I took the Foundational class with Alexandria and she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed at the studio. The studio is neat and clean. It is small but I love the intimate size class. Alexandria also assisted me every time I needed help which was nice. I didn't feel like a deer in the headlights lol. You need pilates socks which they sell there but are kind of pricey. I ended up buying a pair there even though I had a pair I bought from Target. The class was a good workout but wasn't like too difficult like Barre. The next day I could definitely feel it in my body that I worked out lol. The studio is on the second floor next to Cafe Morey's. There's a small parking lot you can park in. The own downfall is the pricing which is the average price for most pilates class. I'd love to become a member but realistically won't be able to afford the monthly membership. Drop ins are $40 a class which is pretty pricey but will likely do it again. Recommend checking out Pilates O Ka La!"
