"Saved up money to take out behbeh girl to a birthday dinner at Bali Oceanfront. Heard this was the spot to see the fireworks from the Hilton Jawaiian Village. Thought would be romantical, but the seat we got only could see half of the firework show. The server that we had was one prankstah, but good thing he was funny or else he would've got the soup soup. I got the steak and was hammaz, behbeh girl got the shrimp ravioli and that was hammaz. The place was clean with the cool Hawaiian breeze. Time to head to Valor and skank. Shoots"

"Hole in the wall place, no frills, but good food. I got the bowl with steak and it was delicious. You order at the counter, pay, and go sit down. They'll bring you the food. Definitely worth a visit. Parking up front but it's a busy street. Good quick service and good prices."

"1st time trying this place and it was just alright.The best thing was the steak. We ordered medium and as you can see it's definitely well done. Even though it wasn't cooked properly the player was good and the steak was soft.The shrimp was cooked well but tasted more salty than anything.The fried noodles tasted like fish. I think it had too much fish cake.The chicken tasted nothing like teriyaki and was kinda dry.We spent over $43 for these 3 items which I think is absurd!Not worth the price for the amount of food in my opinion. We ordered both plates with all rice instead of the toss salad and rice. They did not skimp on the rice, lol.I don't know if I'd go back but if I do I'd order just steak bu the lb if possible."

"Food was prepared fast and it was good. I had a good service. The portion is a good size so one is enough for very hungry person or two meals for me. Probably we got the Ultimate Mix Plate. Ultimate Mix Plate, you can choose 3 choices from steak, BBQ chicken, garlic chicken, garlic shrimp, house smoked meat, hose smoked pork candy bacon. Choice of white or brown rice, and green salad or potato salad. There are eating area right by this place. It's also eating area for the Foodland customer. It's inside the Ala Moana Foodland. Located right after the coffee shop."

"This is REALLY good steak, all from a food court place (no, really). I was craving this style of Japanese steak and feeling a bit adventurous, so I checked this place out, and I'm extremely happy I did. The portions are massive, the steak is absolutely mouth-wateringly perfect, and the price isn't too bad for Hawaii. It's still in a mall food court, though, so don't exactly expect white table cloths!"

"This location is at Pearl City Gateway Mall INSIDE Foodland farms! Same shopping Center with Longs, Tj Maxx, and Dunkin donuts. Across the street from Pearl City Walmart. Because this is inside foodland farms and you know the area, parking is always tight and busy. BUT since this is located within the shoping center, just don't mind the walk! I've came here multiple times for take out. Whether we're stopping here tentionally for lunch/dinner OR after some grocery shopping grabbing some plates on our way out. Food choices are bomb. Including with scoop rice and a choice of salad (toss, potato, etc). For main dishes they have steak, garlic shrimp, garlic chicken, loco moco, shoyu chicken, burgers, and more! My go to is always steak with toss salad and possibly a plus one. They offer 2 choice or 3 choice combos! With your steak they offer side of sauces: Teriyaki | Garlic Butter | Horseradish | Kim Chee | Lilikoi BBQ | Chimichurri.... my go to is the garlic butter. I love to just smear it onto the steak at home so it adds flavor to every bite. Their plate range from about $12-$15. Food wait time is typically fast. I've ordered 1-6 plates at one time and waited no longer than 10-15 min. Reason for the 4 star rating is their customer service. My experience there always changes. From whoever is taking my order sometimes their not always consistent or sometimes our order is wrong. Even if its a missing drink, its still a missing item.Before the pandemic they did have counter spaces with few chairs or an open eating area to the side of the cash registers to have your lunch/din-house! house! But of course it is take out only (which is what I've always done).Will always come back for when I want a fast plate of steak and some every once in a while."

"Ordered some food per DoorDash for my grandpa.I sent him some options and he picked Big Breakfast 2 Eggs, Meats.It stated the meal came with Fried rice, 3 eggs and 3 choices of meats : spam, bacon, Portuguese sausage and/or ham. + he ordered an Arizona Green tea.He chose bacon,spam and Portuguese sausage.It took about 10 minutes before this restaurant accepted the meal. Then another 30-40 minutes before it would be picked up and delivered.(This place may have been busy - that's fine)Once, he received his food - the Portuguese sausage was missing.I let DoorDash know and the refunded me some of the order. My grandpa doesn't eat a whole lot - he was satisfied with the meal."

"Have heard a lot about this place so I was excited to try. We went about 5ish and there was a line, but luckily the wait wasn't too bad. I got the combo plate which included chicken, steak, salad, and rice. First off, I was blown away by the great prices! Especially since it is in Waikiki where food is so expensive. Here, you can get a good meal for under $20 which is a steal in my book.I was also surprised that the steak and chicken were both really good quality. Although I had one grisly piece of steak I couldn't chew, all the other pieces of steak and chicken were tender. The main down fall the meat (both chicken and steak) is incredibly peppery. So, if you don't like black pepper, i wouldn't come here. Luckily, the teriyaki-type sauce they give you on the side helped add much needed sweetness to the plate.Overall though, if you are in the area and hungry, this is a solid and affordable place to grab lunch to eat on the beach or take back to your hotel."

We started off asking about the lobster rolls and he told us we could easily order them without chives as they are made to order. It's hard to get lobster rolls without chives or green onions. The lobster bisque was delicious but the standout was the seafood platter. There was so much crab meat."

"We ate at Tanaka of Tokyo Ala Moana during Christmas/New Years holiday with family. Their menu was excellent. We ordered and ate variety of prime steaks, wagyu, salmon with fried rice. The chef was excellent entertainer/cook. He tried to entertain us with his local monologue and combine it with little comedy while we waited for our food orders. It took him 30 to 40 minutes to get everyone's dinner ready. I was starving and so I ate everything that was on my plate. Steak was tasty and delicious. I was satisfied because my tummy said so, I was full. The service was awesome. Everyone was busy trying to accommodate local patrons as well as tourists. Reservation is a must or you will wait forever (seriously!), otherwise this place rocks! The ambience there is a lot of commotions."
