Ruby S. "#3 for 2020Personable, quaint baseball and softball shop located in Waipio Gentry.First time last year, we're in need of finding a bat and pair of cleats prior to our son's t-ball season. We vividly recall meeting Owner's wife and she allowed my husband and son to test two different bats and see which one my son will feel most comfortable with outside of the shop. While I was inside the shop having a conversation with her, she observed and mentioned a positive comment about my husband played baseball before. I responded, "Yes, when he was young." Our son chose a bat that he felt comfortable with and loves using it for practices and games. We also decided to purchase cleats because we found a pair that fit just right and would allow our son to grow in it one more year. Second time this year, my husband and son arrived, found new cleats for our son's growing feet, just in time for baseball season. Our son is very happy with his new cleats."

I was referred to Sport Stan from my uncle who played baseball when he was younger. He said that he would always see Stan. I was in the area and in search for a baseball bat for my son. After trying a couple bats, his coach suggested one that I had a difficult time finding at other stores near me. Stan ended up having it in stock and had multiples. His supply was really great. We ended up buying the bat, grip, and some weighted balls. He also offered military discount which was awesome.Located right behind the okinawan center, there is lots of parking and the store is a decent size.After talking with Stan I learned that he is a one man show. No employees. That is so awesome that he is hustling all by himself! Definitely check him out for your baseball needs and support LOCAL! It can be a drive out of the way, but more than worth it!
