"I always make a stop at Leahi in Kaimuki every time I'm in town in Hawaii. I've seen Leahi when it started as a small health food stand and expand now toa small indoor / outdoor cafe. With various locations throughout Honolulu. I love the food (healthy choices ) smoothies and Kombucha . Leahi never disappoints. The entire menu is good something for every health conscious individual. I can't wait to return ."

"Oahu GrillDon't let the outside fool you, it is authentic! We were greeted by a very nice young lady from the Hanauma bay area. She quickly learned we were not locals and brought us several items of the Hawaiian variety to try. She explained each food item (Poi, Lomi Salmon, Squid Luau, Chicken Long Rice, and Kalua pig), provided the history and how it is typically eaten in Hawaii. They were all delicious. The Poi is more bland, but is a good balance with the Kalua Pig. Chicken Long a rice is the comparable to Chicken Noodle Soup, but with clear noodles and a little less salt. Squid Luau is very similar to Laing from the Philippines, made with coconut milk, Taro Leaves, and Octopus. Lomi Salmon is like having a fresh salsa with Salmon. For the main dishes we had pork belly and rice. The pork belly had more fat than what we usually eat at restaurants and was salty. The rice, well that's difficult to mess up. Most of the dishes had more salt than we would normally eat, but I think the food was authentic to Hawaii. The dessert was coconut flavored and delicious. The restaurant itself was pretty standard with regular tables and four chairs. It is located on the bottom floor with some window seats that looked out to the street. The building is an older building, but don't let that scare you if you're looking for good service. The best part of this experience was the server, she made us feel welcomed. To sum it up, I have mixed feelings only because of the salt level. If you are not watching your salt or like salty food, this place will be perfect. Gave four stars due to the service!"
"we ordered 6 dishes, and shared among us. This is by far the best meal we had on the island. Price is very reasonable.compared to waikiki beach. Lasagna, fresh fish (Macedonia nuts very good, fish ok)BologneseThe works (piza)Farmers saladGarlic bread"
"Super fresh offerings. Love the variety of add ons and sauces! Love that it's fairly affordable here for quality food. Limited indoor and outdoor seating available and a super clean garage attached, if a bit expensive. The staff are very professional and helpful. There are a lot of options so take a moment to view them before ordering!"
"We called in a take out order. It was mostly ready upon arrival, fully ready shortly after we arrived. The order was correct, food was delicious, service was good. Sharing updated menu photos. Online menu doesn't have the prices."
"This is a 3 star place with excellent service - getting it bumped up.Our server was professional, polite, and on top of his game.Food was good. I didn't walk away craving to come back. Plenty of seating, a salad bar that I didn't partake in. I went to look at it and it was low end. Also easy parking - especially if you are planning to head to the navy exchange/commissary"
"Daily specials are freakin of the hook this year again ... the dynamite crab poke bowl OMG yum I will be back again soon Soo delicious!!!"

This place was so very good, it's just bonkers! I had the pork belly and smoked meat combo. And the haupia dessert that comes with it is light and a perfect finish to the meal! Was there for a change in shift and both servers were pleasant and kind. Going back here in the future for sure!

Andiamo...Yes let's go to Zia's in Kaneohe and why haven't I been here sooner?! Y'all haven't been sharing this gem with me as it sits secretly on Kamehameha Hwy south bound so I zipped passed it without noticing it and had to make a U turn lol! Yes located on the busy busy Kamehameha Hwy is this lovely restaurant with just a few parking stalls all filled you know it must be good.Walking up to this adorable open air dining area with tables covered in checkered tablecloth though casual gives it that slight Italian country vibe. A staff greeted me immediately and I asked if I'm able to place a take out order though now wished I dined in as it felt so calm and relaxing to chill here.Really wanting pasta I do love the variety they have here including Kabocha Squash Ravioli, Pappardelle and even a couple of risotto. I really wanted something light though and under the "il Giardino" or The Garden is "roman Giardino Pasta" that's filled with veggies (mushrooms, onion, artichokes, olives, spinach, roasted peppers and tomatoes) are tossed in spaghetti and topped with goat cheese...oh my goodness it did not disappoint.Honestly not sure what sauce is used...probably olive oil and seasonings lol but it was exactly the type of pasta I've been searching for simple where I can taste the veggies and found it here at Zia's Italian Kitchen yes there seems to be a slight name change but don't zip by and miss this opportunity for some great Italian cuisine.Ciao and Thank you!

Hadn't been here in years even though I love this little Japanese run place on Halekauwila and Keawe in Kakaako that specializes in fresh and healthy rolls and bowls. My friend just moved into the new Ililani condo across the street so I introduced him to it. To place your order you need to follow 4 steps by choosing 1) your protein (choices include ahi, salmon, shrimp, chicken, crab, and vegan) 2) bowl or roll 3) rice- white or brown, salad or quinoa 4) dressing. It took a while for us to decide since everything looked so good. We were both happy with our choices. I decided on the aburi miso salmon in a bowl with brown. With good Japanese style portioning, it was just right so I felt sated and full enough without feeling full. My friend got the lava chicken in a roll with rice and ended up saving his other half for later. Many of the drinks were also very tempting, but I decided on the limeade which was a delicious and refreshing drink full of lemon or was it lime ? chopped into tiny bits with soda water and mint. My friend got the beautiful purple Butterfly Arnold Palmer which not only looked good but also claimed to have anti aging, eyesight improving, hair growing, and antioxidant properties! I was surprised to learn that they also serve Motsunabe! Make a reservation if you're interested in that. Seating is limited with about 4-5 tables inside and an outside table that can seat about 6. Will definitely have to go back for more of this tasty and healthy food! My favorite combo!

My cousins and I have come here over the years and have enjoyed the food, quiet setting and closeness to the airport. That night, just a few tables were occupied. We got seated after a short wait and received our drinks quickly. The unlimited salad bar was one of the main reasons for frequenting Ruby Tuesday. It had a good variety and was fresh.I tried the blackened tilapia this time and it was a moist fillet seasoned well. Our server was friendly and checked up on us frequently and brought replacement iced teas at the right times.

Not sure why I didn't come here any sooner, but wow. These are some HEFTY plate lunches. We tried the salmon katsu and tonkatsu sandwich! I couldn't even finish my plate, but it was SOOO good. Both Katsus were crispy and packed with lots of flavor! Honestly, if I were to rate it I'd say that the Salmon Katsu is a 9/10 and the Tonkatsu sandwich is a 8/10. Also their drinks are super good too! The plantation iced wasn't crazy sweet, but just right. The coffee was also really strong but sweetened perfectly. I'd totally come back here again! Love the rotating specials.

"Ok so tried this place for the first time. Delicious! BUT they tricked me! lol some of the dishes was posted on the screen but they don't serve them anymore. We were looking forward to trying the crispy rice dish and they didn't have it! It really bummed our trip. It was a good atmosphere. Not too busy and service was alright. Menu is a little limited tho but pretty good!"
"A very solid pho and Vietnamese spot in the ward area. Their prices are reasonable for the Ward area. It's a cooler than your normal pho spot, with hip decor and ambiance and music in the background. The pho has that rich and aromatic broth, served with a good amount of veggies. Their service was quick and friendly. The only down was the spring rolls only came with two cut in half, but they were delicious. Will be back for my pho and spring roll cravings, as we live right down the road."
"Listen to all the 5 stars they are telling the TRUTH!! We were so happy to stumble on this burger place while seating in Waikiki. Hole in the wall, no nonsense vibes. The cashier, Daniel, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. And big shout out to chef Nina!!With the pictures, I was contemplating getting a double because I thought the patty looked thin. I'm so happy I went with my gut of getting a single, because it was perfect! Smashed and well seasoned patty, crispy edges, a soft bun, and all your favorite toppings come together in this amazing burger. The fries and onion rings were also top tier. I would consider this a must stop!"
"Hands down one of my favorite go to places to eat. Talk about customer service at its finest, the freshest foods. What gets me are the prices, hard to find a good quality healthy foods for affordable prices. The wraps and sandwiches are next level. Talk about fresh and filling. Definitely if you're trying to stay healthy, but also enjoy your meal. The Valley Health Bar is for you! Hands down can't express how I enjoy this establishment. I almost forgot the sweets, meaning the açaí is so refreshing. Perfect for after your meal or as a meal. All and all, I rate valley health bar a 10/10. This small business really shows love to the customers. Gotta try the food asap if you haven't."
"It was on a whim that i decided to stop by and order lunch. I ordered a 2 choice with white rice, shoyu ahi and kalua pig. For my toppings I ordered cucumbers, crab salad and takuan. When I got back to my office and opened my container I noticed the cucumbers looked white like they were frozen. But to my surprise they were soggy. I think they were frozen and thawed out. I was very disappointed. The rice was also hard.I'm probably not gonna go back. It seems their quality of food has gone down.I didn't take any photos because I wasn't planning on writing this review."
"If you love a good SANDWICH or a good BURGER, come check out EARL Kapolei in the Ka Makana Ail'i. Here at EARL's you can have the best of both worlds...literally all in one! Yes... pastrami and a patty together in one sandwich. At first, I was hesitant to order it. However, I thought the combination would be great together so I decided to take a chance. So glad I did! This sandwich burger combination was a match made in heaven! It was deLISH! The sandwich was juicy and tasty. Make sure you grab lots of napkins because you will get messy. My husband ordered...THE CREAMY GARLIC which is a fried chicken sandwich with all the fix'ins and a delicious garlic sauce. My husband enjoyed the sandwich and he said that he would order it again.Together, we shared a side order of waffle fries. It was a nice addition to our sandwiches. Just your typical waffle fries. After lunch, we both ordered a large Mango Italian ice with custard. WOW! This dessert was amazing and delicious! The Italian ice was smooth and light. The custard was creamy and dreamy. Put them both together and you get a delicious concoction! So, if you are hungry for a sandwich or a burger, come and stop by EARL's. You'll thank me for that!"
"Snack in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii...In-between meals, I thought that I would be able to find something to eat at Pearlridge Center. I like to park at Longs in the covered area and catch the escalator upstairs to the "downtown" part of the mall.Catching another escalator up to the food court (Nehu Market), where the Consolidated Theater is (above Hallmark), I saw Diem 99 Cafe. That's a familiar name... they used to be at 99 Ranch in Mapunapuna!I ordered Summer Rolls from the nice young man at the counter. He gave me a buzzer that would ring when my food would be ready for pick up. I asked about the photo of the Super Rolls. He said they're a set of 16 pieces.I'll have to return and get a platter of the Super Rolls for the next potluck! Those sound and look delicious! The Rolls seem to be a combination of Summer and Spring Rolls. The summer roll is wrapped around a spring roll...Anyway, the Summer Rolls that I ordered were refreshing and just right! Both ends were "open"... not folded over... so I had to be careful to not let the contents (noodles, fresh veggies, and shrimp) squeeze out! The sauce was thick and yummy!I should return for a Bahn mi... and the platter of Super Rolls...Note: There are lots of shared tables (with charging ports) and chairs for dining-in at this food court. The restroom was nearby and clean! The air-conditioning was wonderful!"
"There's 2 of these in the NEX, one outside one inside. I love the beef and lamb gyros and they put them together really quick."
"Went for the first time a few days ago. Love it! Customer service was on point. Small and cozy. I had the special of the day suggested by the awesome waitstaff. For oahu, prices are very reasonable. Definitely going back."
"We are here now for vacation. We just want to say prices are what you expect at a tourist resort. Food is great! But what really made me write this was Dave, our waiter. He is polite, prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. He's out here sweating to bring our food and drinks poolside to help us enjoy our vacation and deserves not only kudos but a raise! If you find yourself at the Hilton Waikiki, and go to the lagoon pool, which for those older adults like us, is the ONLY pool with a hot tub, please ask for Dave! He is friendly and a terrific waiter!"
