"Baby lū'au's are expensive!! But Hawaii people always go broke for their babies. This time we were celebrating my brother's second child's 1st birthday, but that did not stop him from wanting to celwbrate with a bang! Lol.My husband and I offered to pay for a 'balloon guy' which led me to Party Time. Let me say that party services in Hawaii are pretty pricey!!! Other balloon artists or party companies I researched were ridiculously priced, making me re-think my 'calling' in life. Party Time was easy to contact thru Yelp, email, and on the phone. They even offered packages. So, we decided to add on glitter tattoos and paid $300 plus tax for 2 hours of balloon bending and glitter tattoos. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I must have driven himnuts, calling and texting him about different options. When we finally realized he was giving us the best deal, we locked it in. Here are some of the details:1) Ordered a package and was required to pay at least 50% of the bill, with the remainder to be paid at the party, in CASH. I paid $200 upfront and paid $105 at the party. That was MY choice. They have a Paypal option on their website, but I chose to pay over the phone because my Paypal account was giving me grief. An email of my receipt was received immediately after the purchase was made.2) The owner asked me to provide a table and chairs for the artists. Luckily, my dad was able to lend me some for the event. I also provided my own tablecloth and decorations to tie into the party's 'Pineapple' Theme. I wasn't sure this was something I SHOULD do...provide tables and chairs, but after reading thru other party sites, I found that this is a common request made by the companies.3) They were prompt. I like that. The owner dropped off the artists and they quickly got set up. I gave payment to the owner and left them to do their thing. Children quickly lined up for tattoos and balloons! The balloon artist was fun and he made some pretty cool stuff! I was already prepared to give him a solid telling off if all he made was swords and bananas. Lol. He did not disappoint! He made a very complicated looking monkey, pikachu, dolphins, and all sorts of cool shapes. The glitter artist used a template for the tattoos, which was completely fine with me. She was so sweet and accommodating. She was unflustered after being mobbed by little children. Lol. They seemed satisfied with their tattoos and that was all that mattered to me.4) They were supposed to stay for 2 hours. They stayed for 2.5. They were so kind to give the kids a little more time to get their stuff. I kept checking to see if they were ok and they were busy and on-task. I like that! The only reason they lost a star: When I placed my order I expected a form or a confirmation letter. I had to request one from the owner. I found put later that they always DID have a confirmation letter but it was sent out a couple days before the event. I wanted it after I PAID my deposit for peace of mind. The owner did not complain or give me any kind of attitude as I pestered him for this information. He was completely patient and accommodating. I highly recommend Party Time for the services mentioned. I was satisfied and happy to know that theirprices were reasonable. The owner is professional and friendly and the artists were great. They are not as 'flashy' as some of the other party companies you see online, but they still did a great job.Mahalo, Party Time!"

I went to a birthday party with Party Time Hawaii! The balloon artist was awesome at creating original works and was very entertaining. He made things I've not seen before! I loved that they had opaque metallic twisty balloons!!! My son loved his creation! Here's a dragon spitting fire for one of the kids! The party had also the balloon where you can put the little balloons in too! That was super cool! That employee definitely was having fun with the kids letting them choose and insert the little balloons into the special machine! I feel like the Air brush tattoo person wasn't the most experienced as I couldn't tell what my son's tattoo was at first and I felt bad when some of the paint dripped onto one of the mom's pretty dress while getting her tattoo done.Photo booth was super fun and we were able to get double prints of the same photo when we took pics with another family! The quality of the photo is very nice. The man was nice and patient while we chose our props. The only thing is the props for the booth were realllly beaten up and didn't look too clean... i was scared to put it on my head!. Other than that, the employees were really nice and pleasant and they all (except the tattooist, he seemed nervous) looked like they were enjoying themselves and having a grand time with all the guests and children. Thank you for a fun afternoon!!!
