"We couldn't decide on where to have dinner last night and ended up here. I've always wanted to try O'Kims and luckily we found street parking. The restaurant is small. There were maybe five tables in the front. They also have a back patio section that also accommodates around five tables. We decided to dine in the back. It was nice and tranquil. We shared the Korean Chicken $17.95 and Kalbi $27.95. Both entrees came with a green salad. The Korean Chicken greens came with a lemon mayo dressing and the Kalbi greens came with a black sesame dressing. Both dressings were outstanding and made in house. The black sesame dressing Is one of the best dressings that I've ever tasted. They also sell their dressings in bottles for $10.95. It also came with complimentary pickled daikon and Kim chee, which were refillable. We liked it so much that we did get a refill. Both entrees were great, but the Kalbi was my fave. They give you one of the big bone varieties. It also came with homemade fries and kabocha. Both entrees also came with purple rice. My hubby and I shared the Yuzu Lemonade $3.95. I thought that it would be too tart and that I wouldn't like it. However, it wasn't tart and had just the right amount of sweetness. I wanted to get the Elote Ice Cream, but the hubby was full. I knew I couldn't finish it by myself. We will try it the next time around."
"IMO... JUST OKAY. 3 1/2 star. I was told this was THE place for Korean bbq in the area so here we go! We went on a Saturday for a dinner pick up. Short line but 30 minute wait. The regulars do phone orders so if you plan to come here, call in your order. Our plates looked and smelled delicious. We just couldn't wait to eat! I had the fish Jun. When I started, I thought it was juicy and the red dipping sauce was tasty. After a while, the greasiness got to me. My friend liked the meat jun but didn't care for the chicken Katsu. There was more breading than chicken. And no Katsu sauce??? As for the sides, you don't get to choose. I really like the potatoes at most Korean bbq which is not an option here. $20 a plate. Standard. But I dunno. To me, it was just okay. Will I return? Not sure."

"Gina's was always a go to when we had work luncheons so when we needed to cater food we decided to order from their catering menu. Ordering for a large party was really easy. Originally when I called to inquire they said to let them know at least a day or two in advance. Tip: double check the pricing as the online menu has not been updated. You can select from their different set menus that consists of different types of proteins, rice, banchans, bibim kooksoo, and more. We ordered Set B which came with meat jun, bbq beef, kalbi, chicken wings, bbq chicken, egg rolls, bibim kooksoo, banchans, and rice. The portions were HUGE that for a party of 20 everyone could take leftovers. They definitely don't skimp on their portions. I was shocked especially how generous they were with the protein. Everyone was satisfied and happy. Overall the food was great. We definitely will order again for catering!"
"Remembered this spot the last visit to the islands so we decided to check it out again. It's on the side, almost back, of the parking lot so be careful not to miss it (just follow the BBQ smoke). We got there around 4pm, not a huge line, CASH ONLY.What we swallowed:*KALBI PLATE: Two big scoops of rice, salad and huge, delicious kalbi. This hit the spot after a long flight from the middle of the mainland. Two bench tables to eat at, it's outside so super hot and bugs can be a bother. They are a bit scrimpy with the utensils and napkins."
"Ordered the kalbi and meat jun full-size plate. I think this goes for about $30, but I had leftovers for like two days! The meat jun is so delicious and so is the kalbi I really don't have any complaints. The service was fine And they were very attentive to fill up our waters. I think this place is like a local favorite, as a lot of my friends recommend it. I would definitely come back."
"Ordered online, got text updates when they received my order, and when my order was ready. Pulled up, went in, grabbed my food and headed home. Super quick and friendly, the food was ready within 15 minutes. To-go Soondubu was the perfect spiciness, lots of tofu, and came with rice and banchan. Pleasantly surprised and impressed. Definitely coming again soon!"
"I never thought Spoon's would get better since I already really liked their food before their renovation and revamp of the menu.... until now. I am more in love with the food that they serve now and the way that there's both made-to-order food AND already made food.Since their renovation, I've dined in twice. I received the same great service and delicious food. I like that they have just enough seating and have a system where once you're done with your plates, you can place them in an area for staff to pick it up rather than leaving it at your table. It makes things more efficient and hopefully makes cleanup easier for staff. They also have a free water station! While it might seem small from the outside, they definitely make use of the space well and maximize how many customers can be inside at one time. Side note: I really like the fact that they play k-pop inside! The food:Rosé Tteokbokki ($16.95) - Perfect dish for two people to share. Comes with sliced sausages, bacon, 1 boiled egg, and the tteok (rice cake). If you've had rosé tteokbokki at other places on island, you may have the same thought that I had: it's surprisingly not spicy at all. The spice levels could be kicked up a little if they wanted to increase it but honestly? I'd still love their tteokbokki either way. Curry Cheese Rice Ball ($3.50) - Way better than expected and highly recommend anyone to try it. If you've ever had arancini, it's like a bigger version of it with an Asian twist. I'm not sure what sauce they use on top of it but it brings everything together to have a nice party in my mouth. The outer layer has a thin but crunchy feel to it which meshes well with the soft rice and gooey cheese insides.Strawberry Bingsu ($9.50) - I think this might be the only item I've tried so far that I was just slightly disappointed about. When they had Teaspoon a few years back inside Spoon's where they sold bingsu on the side, I really enjoyed that bingsu. However, this new bingsu could use more ice shavings since a lot of it currently consists of the strawberry liquid/jam(?) but not enough ice shavings to pair with it. But, that might just be my preference. It still tastes really good though!"
"Topped Waikiki is a super fun place in Waikiki for grubbin' on some seriously loaded dishes. Their signature Korean bibimbap and fries are stacked high with tasty toppings that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. If you're lookin' for some next-level comfort food, this spot's got you covered. Go check it out for a good time and some epic eats! Parking can be a pain but solid location central to all the cool bars in Waikiki."
"We came here for karaoke and arrived early to reserve a room. With just three of us, they were able to accommodate us easily. The deal was to spend $150 on food and drinks, plus $2 per song for karaoke. I appreciated that the bathrooms were clean, which is always a nice touch. The food was great, and we ordered a lot of soju--but as a light drinker, I didn't feel the effects, which made me think it might have been watered down. Other than that, it's always a fun experience with karaoke, and I really enjoy Korean food!"
"Food is always great here!Ordered dinner for our family Combo plates with meat Jun, bbq beef, shrimp tempura, bbq chicken. All items were delish and the sides are also super yummy! we will always go back and the service is just right! Try them out if you are in the area!!"
"Whenever my hubby and I crave chicken wings, our thoughts go to Vons Chicken. Now, there are several locations in town, and just as a point of information, the pricing varies from location to location. We go to this location because, between the one in Waikiki, the location in Palama Market off Kalakaua, and this one, the location on Pensacola Street, is the lowest priced. It's one of our favorite items for tailgates. I gave this location 4 stars because parking is a challenge, and sometimes the person who answers the phone when we call in an order sounds like it's a hassle to take the order. With that said, we still love the wings, and honestly, anywhere you go, wings can be pretty pricey. So we have tried several different flavors, but our fav is the crispy shoyu chicken. Now, it is crisp, not your local-style plate lunch shoyu chicken. You've got to try it to understand the difference. It is finger-licking, lip-smacking good! The location is no-frills, so don't expect anything fancy. There is no sitting area, and parking can be a challenge. It is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that is worth a try."
"Annyeonghaseyo! We came over to Moiliili on a weeknight during dinner time to run an errand. The hubby was craving Korean BBQ so I suggested Mama Woo's, which was nearby and we'd passed by on so many occasions. Since we had some time, we decided it was a good chance to try them out!Usually the parking lot is packed and parking is scarce, but tonight we were lucky! There was a gentleman ahead of us waiting for his take out order, so we took a moment to study their banchan and menu. The cashier (Matthew) answered our question about the squid, took our order and even offered a sample of their fried eggplant (!) banchan, saying it was a little on the sweet side. Omgoodness it was delicious! Just a hint of sweetness to the savory shoyu glaze, so very yummy! We sat on the chairs for maybe 5 minutes and our food was ready!I ordered the BBQ Chicken plate ($15.95) with Kim chee, daikon Kim chee, chap Chae and the fried eggplant. The chicken was conveniently cut up into pieces. My hubby ordered the stir fried squid ($19.95) with Kim chee, chap Chae, fried eggplant and seaweed.Their Kim chee is legit! From personal experience, we've learned that if a Korean BBQ place has good Kim chee, it will be good and we were not disappointed. All the banchan was delicious and of course the BBQ Chicken was juicy and the squid was tasty!Very happy with the quality and quantity of the food as well as the politeness of the employees . As well were leaving, another employee talked with us and said he hoped we like the food and come back to try more items!"

I brought a mini pan of meat jun to a friends' get together of heavy pupus, everyone commented on saying it's the best meat jun they've ever had and where did it come from. The meat is perfectly marinated all the way through and the egg batter did not fall off the pieces. Each piece sliced well, all the way thru. I called to order at 2pm for a 5pm pick up, had to call 3 times because the phone had a busy tone. Lady answered, said "hello, very busy hold on ", she put the phone down and helped the customers. I could hear every conversation with the customers there, she was busy. 5 minutes later, she apologized for the wait and took my order. I got there at 4:50 and there was a line of 2 customers in front of me, one more couple waiting for their order on the side. I told I was there to pick up my pan, she told me they're cutting up my meat jun almost ready. After 5-10 minutes paid for my pan and went on my was. My mini pan was $83, and it came with a good size container of their spicy meat jun sauce, we had 12 of us, and we each got to take home after the party. It was a good amount. Even my local korean friends commented on how good it was, again asked where it came from. Young's Kalbee is currently take out only. This has been our neighborhood gem for Korean food. Everyone that I saw that went to pick up their plates, the lady was really friendly with them. It was like she knew everyone, and everyone knew her. Located below Anytime Fitness, there is parking in the lot, sometimes it's a little walk. They take credit cards. Highly worth the money and worth the wait.

I haven't been here in a while, so I wanted to update my review. I got the a+b combo. You get to pick from a list to create your own plate. I got the fried chicken wings plus fried oysters combo $20.49. The plate had four pieces each of oysters and wings. The plate came with white rice and four sides. I usually do shoyu potatoes at these Korean places, but Gina's doesn't offer that. For my banchan I got taegu, corn, choy sum and kim chee. It also came with two small pieces of veggie spring rolls. While the food was still good, my wings were burnt. Talk about being charred, lol. I'll chalk it up to them having a bad day as the food is usually really good.

SOONS!!! I LOVE YOU!!! lol. Best Plate-Lunch when it comes to Korean Fast Food... Not only is it fast food, it's good food... This staple of a spot serves-up the best BBQ Chicken Plate & The Bento Is a smash!!! it's got the whole kitchen in the plate... It's a Quick-Service Place. The restaurant has about 3 booth-style tables to enjoy your food... 95% of the people take the food to-go!! I'm in love with their Slightly pickled cabbage that accompanies the plate.... I've been to this spot at least 10 times.

Food is always good and I love that the portions are huge! Service was good too, it just gets packed in here so sometimes it sucks because people don't think about others. Tonight the servers were a little all over the place. They need more structure or maybe more training?? because why did the server who brought out the hot food, kept placing it right in front of my baby??? Like, is it just me or is it only female servers who know not to place HOT food right in front of a toddler. Imagine he knocked it down or worse, burnt himself?? And he's a baby! You can't control when their intrusive thoughts come out and they whack the whole plate of food - and now food is wasted everyone is frustrated and like, no one wins, you know? Anyways, that's why I gave 4 stars despite having an eaten yummy food and the service being good. I had to minus a star because my baby is important and also, serving over a child is just a no brainer. Please understand that if you do those things and the baby hits the plate or cup and food gets wasted, it was your fault not the baby. The ambiance is nostalgic because this place has not changed since my hanabada days. I definitely recommend coming here and I would say, as packed as this place gets during dinner time, order that dinner for two special because it's a steal!

Soondubu is comfort food for me. I have fond memories of having it with my mom whenever I'd visit home from school. The piping hot tofu in spicy broth was always oh so good! The soondubu at So Gong Dong is excellent in flavor and has actually become my gold standard that all others have to live up to! The restaurant is small but bright and clean. Its storefront is easily found with lots of street parking nearby. The staff is always friendly and welcoming with quick service. There's no skimping with plenty of tofu in the soup and you can choose from a variety of different types of ingredients. I love the mushroom soondubu but the kimchi one is excellent too. Really can't go wrong. The seafood and kimchi pancakes are really thick and full of flavor. Our kids rave about the bbq chicken, it's one of their favorites in town. The banchan is always plentiful and fresh. I could eat here any day!

This has become our go to spot. In fact, I may need to have an intervention because I have been picking up or door dashing them a bit too much. The tteokbokki is amazing. The black bean noodles and meat Jun is always on my mind. Love this place!

So good!Stopped here for lunch on our way back to the hotel from the beach. Affordability and portion sizes were great, but the flavors were amazing! We went with the Spicy Pork (perfect spice level), Shoyu Pork (favorite flavor), and Beef & Butter (solid, but least favorite of the three). It's a fun hole in the wall spot...limited seating, but they had great containers to go. Service was fast and the quality was

"We usually have the jjajangmyeon here, which is very good. However, I remember my wife ordering a noodle soup for me once, which I really enjoyed. She doesn't refer to the menu, she just orders what she knows they have.I arrived here after work on Friday, hoping to get reacquainted with that mystery noodle soup. My first time ordering off the menu, so I picked the most likely candidate, "NOODLES WITH SEAFOOD & SOUP." I asked the server what the name of the soup was in Korean - "samseon-myeon." It seemed like what I had before, but I think my wife had ordered a separate, special sauce to mix in, which enhanced the flavor. I wasn't able to recreate my original experience, but it was still pretty good. For comparison, I ordered a second dish, "NOODLES WITH SPICY SOUP & SEAFOOD" - "jjamppong" in Korean. This was clearly not what I had before, but I enjoyed it even more than the samseon-myeon. The combination of noodles and seafood in the rich, savory broth needed no enhancement. This was a delicious, filling dinner accompanied by the usual side dishes and hot tea. The service was great, and I appreciated how they patiently answered my questions - even showing me how to write the names in Hangeul.https://www.facebook.com/share/p/9vszBEqPe56RkL25/?mibextid=oFDknk"
"Wow. Really great wings. Super great service. Located in HMart food court. Lots of tables. Clean."

"We keep driving by this place and it looks so elegant we really wanted to try it. Finally someone suggested Hangang for a friend dinner. Made an early reservation and got a covered parking space in back of the restaurant, woo hoo!We ordered family style and since the portions were rather large it was a good idea. Ordered bibimbap, galbi, steamed egg, zucchini jun, and galbijjin. Also we split a bottle of Jeju soju. It was a little hard to get the attention of a server as it was very busy and the floor was a bit sticky so I didn't want to put my purse down, but the food was very good. I'll be back with my family."
"So this is a great place to eat if you are looking for good yakiniku that is not AYCE. Portions are reasonable and just right -as along as you are limiting the meat cuts. If you want to grill a variety like what you expect from an AYCE place, this is not your restaurant. Meat quality was great!!As you can see, we ate everything"
"Love this Mom & Pop restaurant in Manoa. Support Local Eat Local!! Our favorites Chicken Ginseng Soup & big bone Kalbi. Can't leave without trying the Oyster pancakes. Huge oysters individually battered with egg mixture & fried. Veggie pancake. Kim Chee pancake. Grilled Pork belly. Ahi Katsu. Kim Chee fried rice. A lot lot more to try and they are all so good home cooked Korean food. Yum!"
"First time eating here! The Korean fried chicken here is Delicious! We ordered the Honey Garlic Boneless Chicken bowl and the Secret sauced Chicken sandwich with fries and drink combo. The Honey garlic chicken was sweet and savory. The bowl was filled with white rice, sprinkled with furikake, two slices of takuan (pickled daikon) and three pieces (or more if pieces are small in size) of honey garlic chicken. This is filling and a great deal for $8.99!The secret sauce chicken sandwich comes nestled in a soft and delicious warm bun, a generous amount of coleslaw and sauce. I don't recall the price and unfortunately the picture I took, cuts off the price. Just try it! The combo meal includes French fries (you can upgrade the fries if you want a fancier flavor for $$) and a drink for an additional $3.00. The perfectly seasoned chicken sandwich was awesome! Light and crispy outside, moist inside. The coleslaw and not too spicy sauce made the perfect and delicious sandwich. One of the best chicken sandwiches I have had to date! Yes, I was hungry after a great morning walk (over 10,000 steps : ). The sandwich is so big that I took home half the sandwich! We shared the hot and yummy fries. Drinks are refillable here!No indoor bathroom. Please request the code for the outside bathroom before you go. The restaurant was spacious with indoor and outdoor seating available. There are screens on the wall to entertain you and Instagram worthy decor here. Food: 5/5 starsAmbiance: 4/5 starsService: 5/5 starsThe employee who took our order was patient and answered my questions about the menu. He was personable and very nice Be prepared to wait a bit, as your order is made fresh here! It's worth the wait.Update: I reheated my leftover chicken sandwich today. Of course it did not taste as good lol. The bread and chicken skin became mushy with the wetness of the coleslaw. So I removed the bread and ate the chicken with the coleslaw. Not too bad. 3/5 stars."
"Location wise is definitely not ideal as the parking stalls are quite tight and located right next to the McKinley Car Wash which always has a crazy line extending onto Kapiolani Blvd. If you do decide to go, Sunday would be an ideal day when the car wash is closed. My family was really craving Naengmyeon so we all went for lunch. They offer two types of naengmyeon which is mul (water) or bibim (mixing). The mul naengmyeon is noodles in an ice slushy or broth with crushed ice. The bibim is more saucy and has the broth on the side. I personally prefer the bibim in terms of flavor wise since it won't be as diluted in the broth. They also give you extra vinegar and mustard to add to your broth as well. The mul naengmyeon but good but somehow I felt something was missing. They offer a combo where you get one choice of meat and a naengmyeon. We got the kalbi and spicy pork. The kalbi had a great flavor and was soft. The spicy pork was soft but was a little too salty with the sauce. Customer service wise, it was not great. There were times a lot of the workers were standing around in the back but rarely refilled our waters or asked if we needed anything else. Even the table next to us had to flag them down for more napkins. When we paid our bill, my sister said they were commenting about how much they got tipped in Korean. A bit unprofessional I would say. Overall the food was pretty good but in terms of other criteria, I'm not sure if I would visit again"
"We were able to have our three kids watched by the in-laws while we go out one last time before my wife gives birth to our 4th (induced on Tuesday). Craving Korean food and heard that this place was as authentic as it gets. So we go. And it nailed everything. It was busy so we were told that the wait was going to be about 30 minutes. We didn't mind so we stood outside. They did not have an official sign in list and the cashier seemed to have wrote my name on the back of a receipt to keep track of who was next for seating. The waitress/hostess came outside and told us that she cleared her "work" table for us because she didn't want my wife to wait too long due to be pregnant and ready to pop any second. This was really nice of her and we appreciated it!Inside everyone is tightly packed. There are plastic partition walls they roll around to give tables privacy which was nice because when you sit down you don't even notice you are sitting a couple inches away from the other table, honestly. We ordered the M.M.C (Meat Jun, Mandoo, and Chicken) & a soup that I don't remember... and would probably butcher the name of.The dishes were delicious. No complaints besides I wish I had more. The staff were friendly and would talk to us about the baby wishing us the best as we left."
"Takeout lunch from Ala Moana, Honolulu, Hawaii...Mom and I had just finished having breakfast at The Lanai (food court on the Mall Level). We were walking past all of the food vendors such as Teppanyaki Farmer, Ahi and Vegetable, etc. when I saw Seoul Mix 2.0.Gosh... the bentos and musubi looked really good... and everything was packaged... ready-to-go... convenient!I thought, "Since I'm here and there's no line, I should get something for lunch later on..."Good move because after driving mom around to her appointments, I was hungry when I got home! I ripped open the box of bulgogi kimbap (Korean sushi roll) quickly...Wow...Delicious!The healthy combination of black nori (seaweed), white rice, yellow takuan (pickled, crunchy daikon), brown, tasty bulgogi (seasoned meat), orange grated carrot, yellow egg, and green choi sum was colorful and fun with the perfect amount of sesame seed oil flavor... YUM!"
"I've been to Debu multiple times and the service is great. Debu started with different yubu and rolls but have now added gimbaps and donburi to their menu.If you don't know what yubu is, it's marinated tofu skin stuffed with sushi rice with an item on top. My favorite Debu yubu are salmon and unagi. Salmon Roll had shrimp tempura, tamago, yubu, green onions, yellow radish, pickled red onion and avocado. It was great. The unagi don was nice too. It's rice with unagi, yamago on top and mentaiko. If you're looking for more of a cheaper option, they have gimbaps. I love Debu's fresh ingredients and their rice. My favorite is their unagi. I recommend ordering a unagi yubu and asking to blowtorch it. So, it's abit crispy/charred."
"This little proverbial hole in the wall is worth seeking out- ono food, reasonable prices and massive quantities! I hade the Peppa's special which includes mandoo, rice, 4 choice veggies, kalbi, bbq chicken and bulgogi. Dang! My wife had the bbq chicken combo with plenty meat jun. The folks are nice, it's clean inside and there is parking in the back, an excellent bonus. We had so much leftovers that we enjoyed another night of delicious Korean food. Now there's still chicken left for another plate. All in all, great value and you will not leave hungry. Com so mida!!!"
"If you're craving tasty Korean fried chicken, Soul Chicken in Kalihi is the spot to hit up. Just a heads-up it's right smack dab in the middle of the Dillingham rail construction chaos, so getting there might feel like an adventure. And to make things even trickier, there are no left turns on Dillingham, so plan your route accordingly. But once you do make it there, you'll find it tucked inside Bliss Lounge & Bar, which is actually a plus. What pairs better with crispy, fried chicken than an ice-cold beer or cocktail? Plus, the space is cozy and great for hanging out with friends. Since it's inside Bliss lounge and bar, there's no table service, so you'll need to scan a QR code to order or better yet, save yourself the hassle and order ahead here: https://www.clover.com/online-ordering/soul-chicken-honoluluI've always been quoted 20 minutes for orders, but in my experiences, it's always ready sooner. If you're grabbing takeout, ordering ahead online is the way to go so you're not stuck waiting. And this chicken? Crispy, light, not greasy, and not weighed down by batter, exactly how it should be. My go to flavors are Honey Garlic and Yang Nyeom (spicy) and if you're taking it home, I highly recommend getting the sauce on the side to avoid any soggy disappointments. My only complaint are that some of these chickens look like they barely made it past chickhood because a few of the pieces are really small. I'm talking bite sized in a way that makes you wonder if they ran out of full-grown birds. But hey, what they lack in size, they definitely make up for in flavor. If you can navigate the construction mess (and the no-left-turn nightmare on Dillingham), Soul Chicken is a solid spot for some seriously good Korean fried chicken just maybe don't expect every wing to be a heavyweight or order more half dozens."
"My friends from high school plan an annual get together each year when one of us that now lives in California comes back home to visit. This year, we decided to try Ireh as many of us had been to their previous locations, but not the newer one in the condominium complex, Azure.I must give a huge high five to Azure for allowing free parking for the businesses that are in their building. My friends and I all agreed that we would be much more willing to frequent these businesses due to this reason. So many places charge for parking these days, so it's nice to see a condominium allowing patrons to park for free to visit the businesses. My friends and I ordered the spicy pork tteokbokki, kimchi pancake and Al Bap (rice, vegetables, kimchi, clover sprouts, nori and tobiko in a stone pot). While we enjoyed all of our food options, I think we all agreed that the spicy pork tteokbokki was the winner. I honestly was looking forward to the kimchi pancake the most as I hadn't had it in a while, but it lacked the crunchiness that I would want from a kimchi pancake. Being that it was served to us fresh, it should have been crunchy and not soft (as you would find if it had been sitting out for some time). The banchan options are minimal here as they only give you kimchi and pickled onions. I usually expect to see more options at Korean restaurants.Service was attentive and friendly. We had to ask for water a few times as they give you a smaller size carafe that we needed to share amongst the four of us. I would come back here, though. Their menu has many options that I would like to try. It's a nice atmosphere and like I said, FREE parking! I hope that doesn't change over time as I think that's attracts business."
"Came here for dinner because the line at Marugame was too long haha. Inside is pretty rundown, but they have lots of cute drawings on the wall (some of which kinda look like they came from the same person which is fine but feels a bit fake...). Service was fast but not super attentive. We ordered the garlic chicken wings, mul naengmyeon, tteokguk, kimchi pajeon, and fried mandoo. Wings were nice and crispy, probably the best thing along with the tteokguk which was also quite good! The naengmyeon tasted like it was from a pack, and fried mandoo seemed to be frozen. The pajeon was fine. Overall food is really meh here, but I guess it's nice to have a Korean option in Waikiki."
"I haven't been here for years and the family package has gotten more expensive. The food is still good. They charge for package and don't give a box to hold your order. I had to go back to my car to get a box. The meat jun was tender. The kalbi was tasty. Everyone liked the chicken wings. They still have taegu as a side but they are smaller portions. Did a take out. No takeout menus. If order min 3 same bentos get a special price. Check them out."
"My new fav Korean yakiniku! My first time was with my husband for my 30th, & I'm so glad we came here bc the stew is so die for. Either miso or soft tofu stew, they're BOTH hands down the best stews I had on Oahu.Parking is either right out front (limited stalls) or parking behind the building next to Club Femme Nu.2nd time here for Mother's Day & hubby got to treat us! I'm so happy to be here with my family. Definitely our go-to yakiniku in town now. Can't go wrong with the reasonable prices AND complementary sides were also tasty! It's not a big fancy updated place, but the restaurant really shows the Korean authenticity."
"Very crowded Yummy Korean BBQ located in the Ala Moana food court . I ordered a Meat jun and Kalbi combo . My sides were japchae , Kim Chee, garlic potato and Mac salad . Their meat jun was ok it was marinated already with the egg. Kalbi was ok a little burnt but good taste .The bad thing about this whole ordeal is there so many flies enjoying my meal instead of me .Ala Moana Management surely needs to do something about this . Support local"
"Saw this restaurant bc we parked by there and intended to go to Tonkatsu Ginza but they weren't accepting anymore tables for the evening. We remembered seeing Ginza Won on the way in and decided let's just go here to eat and we're 100 percent super happy! Their quality of meats was sooo good and their seafood tofu soup was the best we've eaten in so long. Seafood was so fresh. The services was so great. The server was very authentic and personable. He gave us great suggestions and kept our banchan full. He mentioned his mom made that super delicious tofu soup. Definitely we will be back next time we're in Hawaii."
"My third visit. I had a mini bbq chicken plate with two sides. Daniel is a gracious host, always positive and friendly. Very generous with the portions, and tasty too. Casual dining or take out. On my previous visit I had the kal bi, also very good."
"Came here for the first time last week and one of the best affordable places in downtown! I will recommend getting to Seoul Kimbap early because they sell out quickly! It's a family owned bussiness and they are so nice!"
"Football Sunday and I was on my way to escutcheon the game and thought about getting buffalo chicken wings. I walked passed Vons and stopped in. They specialize in chickens wings and various flavors to include a mild Korean Spice wing (#2 on their menu). Closest flavor to buffalo wings. I placed a half order (10 pieces)), they were perfectly cooked, the seasoning was more of a mild spicy sweet sauce and it was just fine. The wings are big and probably the most generous I have had on island. The owners are friendly and helpful. The business is a small store front and they offer a couple of tables inside if you want to eat there. Great place and they also have larger party size orders."
