The whole store was 10% off for Statehood Day. They also give a 10% military discount. You can't stack the discount though, so we just got the 10% off.We were helped by Van. He was really nice and the transaction took about 10 minutes. We paid at customer service. This is only the showroom and they don't carry any stock here. We had to pick up our purchase from the Cs Wo Service Center, across the street from Target in Salt Lake."

"1-29-2021 We had purchased a creamish off-white colored sofa and upon delivery, while plastic was being removed during installation, a small darkish scuffed part on the Italian leather was noticed.One of the delivery men notated it and the next day I was contacted to either repair or replace the sofa. I chose to repair the slight blemish. It's been about 2 weeks and that new leather upholstery of a new car smell is still present on the sofa.I like how this company's follow up was timely and an appointment was set up by Aja to have a technician come out. Yesterday I got the 24 hour prior phone call for window of time to expect William. He said 9:30-11:30 a.m. will be there.Today at exactly 9:35 a.m. my cell sounds. William had pulled up into our driveway . He was friendly, took approximately half an hour to work on the spot. He went to work applying a few layers of his magic goods which he said wasn't for sale, had a heat gun, matched the color then sprayed on a sealant.He kept his mask on and we conversed about how his mask matched his maroon CS Wo uniform. The company is large: Home World, its affiliate Abode for delivery and Ashley repairs.Usually our fur baby is a frantic alarm sounding machine when a stranger enters but she was fine with William. He did such a professional repair job that it looks perfect now."

"My wife and I went into this store because we were in the area. It is located in Waimalu by Jelly's . From the outside, the place looks small but once you go in, you get taken aback by all the stuff in there. Its an oriental furniture place. They have curio cabinets, wall hangings, large vases, tables, and figurines and statues. The older gentleman that was there was really nice and showed me around to the stuff they had in the store. Im looking for some furniture items so when I mentioned what I was looking for, he knew where to take me. The items we were looking for were expensive but he was willing to work out a deal before I even said I was going to buy anything. If/when we are ready to buy something, Id consider going back there to check it out.I hope he still has those deals going on!"

"Where there's a home...........there is the need to furnish or update said home. This place is as it described: it really is a world of furniture. You'll find mattresses, dining tables, coffee tables, sofas, recliners, etc., all under one roof. Its literally one stop shopping.We found and considered a few pieces for our home. On our 2nd of 3rd visit, we finally settled on a couch and coffee table. We also found some furniture for the bedroom as well.The sales associate that assisted was Russ. She was a very patient, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable young lady. When we wanted to compare and contrast different coffee tables with a couch, she gladly assisted us with moving the furniture within the store. She said she understands the need for customer to visually furniture together and how well they will complement each other. We appreciated that she was very prompt with a response when we reached out to her via email. NOTES:1. There are 3 HomeWorld furniture locations: Kapolei, Aiea, and in town. We went to all of them believe or not.2. You can pay a deposit for the furniture and settle the balance at a later date.3. Two options for furniture delivery: 1. Furniture delivered to your doorstep. 2. Furniture is delivered and moved into your home and placed/positioned at customer's liking and discretion. We chose option 2.4. I'd highly recommend taking measurements at your home before commencing furniture shopping (we learned this lesson the hard way, sadly). You'll thank me later. And make sure to bring a pen and notepad too, just in case.5. Make list of what you need, because you may find something you will want versus need.6. Altogether, we made 3 separate purchases at this store. There is just 1 order/customer number and we just added the purchases onto the same order. Also, there is no extra charge for delivery if you added purchases to the order. The delivery charge will encompass all of your purchases (which we were glad to know; who wants to pay extra delivery charges?!). 7. The staff will be in touch with you a few days before the delivery date(s) as a reminder. There's an option to track the delivery truck thru a link sent via text message.8. The furniture could not all be delivered on the same day/date. Russ was kind to secure dates that aligned with our schedules. On the day of delivery, the requirement is that someone 18 years or older must be present to receive the delivery; so the purchaser doesn't necessarily have to be present.BOTTOM LINE:A very positive experience at HomeWorld and working with Russ."

I reverse parked in front of bay 7 and walked up a small set of stairs. Was greeted by the guy. Grams called ahead that I was coming instead of her. I had to show the receipt and my ID. Luckily her furniture was boxed up and inside bay 7. The guy loaded it into my vehicle and I strapped it on my own. I caught the weather at a great time but brought a tarp just in case."

Even though their name is Elite Discount Furniture, we found sofas at cheaper prices at other locations. We were helped by a nice sales associate. He showed us different sofas and kept saying that he would get us a good discount. My mom didn't find anything that she liked, so we never asked what the discount would be. It's two stories. We didn't head upstairs. We found sofas, beds and massage chairs on the first level. Ahhhh massage chairs!!! I could use one of those."

"I miss living in the Bay Area because there are so many options for furniture and they are in stock! The cost is also less than Hawai'i due to shipping and higher rent for commercial spaces on the islands. When items are not in stock in Hawai'i, it can take several weeks before they arrive and sometimes people can't wait that long. With the limited furniture stores available in Hawai'i, we looked at most of them. We also looked a lot online during the lockdown but shipping was crazy high or they didn't ship to Hawai'i (you know what I'm talking about). When we finally got to INspiration Interiors - Honolulu, we were ready to just buy so we didn't have to look anymore. We walked the showroom floor to see all the options available and made some relatively quick decisions based on dimensions, color, style and most importantly what was in stock. The sales person followed us around the store and had a tape measure to help us figure out if the furniture was going to fit or not. For commission sales, service was disappointing. He also forgot us when we went back 4 days later to buy another item. After we decided, he put our order together and walked us over to the front to pay. Mink decided to save on delivery since she had free labor with me so guess I got lucky to pick up the heavy furniture *sad face* Their warehouse is in Kapolei and they hold furniture up to 4 weeks after your purchase. Staff at the Kapiolani location will tell you that you need to call the Kapolei warehouse at least two hours prior to picking up your order. This will give them enough time to get it ready for you when you arrive. Otherwise you'll have to sit tight till they can get it without that call. They said sometimes it can take them 20-30 minutes so make sure to call at least 2 hours prior to arriving. The GC had his workers pick up the furniture for us which was nice. Saved me a trip to Kapolei right? Unfortunately the end table was broken/damaged when we unboxed it. Also the sideboard was not assembled! The sales person said it would be but clearly it was not. I was quite annoyed since I had to waste time to assemble it. Side note, one of the screws were jacked up which made assembly a pain. We made do but we expected a lot better quality at their price point. If your furniture is broken/damaged, they don't come and exchange it for you if you picked up from the warehouse. You will need to bring back the damaged items to Kapolei and exchange it. When I was driving there, I called them to find out they close at 4pm and I called around 4:20pm. Luckily someone stayed to let me exchange since I was fighting traffic from town to get there. The warehouse deserves 4 stars! The exchange was quick and I made sure they unboxed there to make sure the item was perfectly fine before going back in town. Overall, the entire experience and quality of their furniture is mediocre so 2 stars. Are they worth it? That's debatable."

Everything and more are found here but it's so huge I wasn't in the mood for the hunt and actually found myself in the lamp section as that for some reason impressed me more than anything. Yes they are pricy though for what they do is something I almost walked away with. One that was on special had a magnifier attached to the head of the lamp making crafting less of struggle to squint, others had USB slot, various light setting and majority took just a few inches of space...love!I actually came here because mom had some items she was searching for and when I was aware of it actually talked her out of it out of not needed it only a just in case wasn't a situation we didn't need. Love this location and will probably frequent it much more once I'm more familiar with the layout. Lots of free parking right out front makes it a deal worth shopping for.Thank you!"

"After feeling defeated from our unsuccessful hunt for a simple wooden bookcase in a few small Kaka'ako shops we happened to drive by this place on our way home and decided to stop in. So glad we did! First, they have their own parking lot with several spaces, some large enough for a uhaul. You have to be traveling Ewa on Kapiolani and then make a right immediately after Yanagi sushi and then another right that looks like it goes to a dead end but the small lot entrance is directly on the right. The best thing about this place is that they have their furniture in stock right there. At least they did for the lovely bookcase with found. You don't have to wait for the order or drive to a warehouse to pick it up. If it's on the floor then they have it. The store is large and air conditioned with lots of nice furniture. Love all the wood since metal tends to get rusty here in our humid climate. And there's a nice clean bathroom for customers. The proprietors were lovely, we're not overly pushy or trailing us around. They just let us browse around on our own and then when we were ready, helpful and friendly. They let me choose from two of the same models bc the wood grain could look different. And then helped us load the long corner bookcase into our tiny Corolla - it required some finessing and turning - think PIVOT PIVOT a la Ross from Friends. There is a surcharge for credit card purchases which I imagine almost all their transactions are given the code of the items. There's a pretty clear sign that this is the case by the register. I guess consider it a trade off for getting the furniture right away. I was so happy to take my bookcase home that day, no assembly required, set it up in our room and load it up with my books."

A couple repair places were contacted to assess the issue; unfortunately, the estimated parts and labor expenses plus the lag time getting the parts simply was prohibitive in this particular situation. A month later, this machine has worked wonderfully, no tenant complaints, and it has become a perfect replacement. Full disclosure, there were some minor aesthetic nicks, and it may've been a slightly older model with less electronic parts and sensors (i.e. easier to refurbish), but the Kenmore brand always held high esteem with its appliances similar to a Honda car. "The staffs are helpful and Red Knot is reasonably priced compared to its sister company Ashley's. We found what we were looking for, and was able to set up delivery right away. What was cool about this company, is that they charge the flat rate of 99 dollars delivery fee only one time, even if you wanna have seperate deliveries. So let's say you have two deliveries scheduled one for in-stock items and another one for backorder item. If you have decided to buy something else again, you can have the added item delivered for free as long as the backorder delivery hasn't been completed. The delivery staffs were on time, very curteous and quick with their work too. What I didn't like was the sales pweson never explained about the charge added on our bill automatically. It was home installation of 30 dollars. It is only 30 dollars for all the furniture so I think it is totally worth it, but I didn't like the fact he didn't explain. Felt like those hidden charges you see on many things. Overall, I am very happy with their products and will probably use them again in case I need more furniture."

Plenty of stains and colors to choose from along with different kinds of solid real woods. Everything is hand made and custom so beds take a little while to get. "I love coming into this store...it's an art gallery yet there are pieces in here that are also functional for daily use. Being that this store in located in Ala Moana Center (near Macy's), it is highly accessible to local and visitor traffic. The salespeople are friendly and informative about the various artists who are featured in the store and their artwork. Usually, you see more foreign visitors in here looking for that "special" piece of art to bring home. Admittedly, the items in this store are not inexpensive or cheap. These are pieces that were lovingly, artfully conceived and created through true woodworking craftsmanship.Koa (acacia koa) is grown ONLY in Hawaii and differs from island to island. It was prized by the ali'i and monarchs of Hawaii. Koa was the name for ancient Hawaiian warriors and means "brave, bold and fearless". It is a hardwood which ancient Hawaiians used to make combat weapons and is endemic to Hawaii, hence, the wood was called "koa". Besides making weapons from this hardwood, the ancients used koa to make bowls, canoes and paddles. When Westerners settled into the Kingdom of Hawaii, koa was selected to build many of the great plantation homes and churches in old Hawaii, furniture and surfboards.The Martin & MacArthur names in Hawaii are quite synonymous with their use of acacia koa wood and master craftsmanship. "The spouse and I were on Oahu for our birthday weekend and Ala Moana Center is always a must-stop. I always park in the same area of the newer parking garage which is how we discovered this furniture store. Wabisabi on Maui is a restaurant so this was a total surprise!ATMOSPHERE:Located on the third level of AMC, it's a sizable spot with floor-to-ceiling windows and room to spread out. EXPERIENCE:We were in the market for some new home furnishings and stayed an hour inmore than I anticipated. I never got around to inquiring about the store's details or roots, but they're pretty pricey compared to other similar local businesses. The inventory wasn't overwhelming by any means but the uniqueness was there. We're contemporary and they had it. As far as build-quality, most of the sofas and wood products we interacted with felt solid. Service was good, but one of the associates ended up putting a sour note in my spouse's perception as her personal opinions on design versus what the customer envisioned was made known. I appreciate feedback, don't get me wrong but, you gotta know how to work it, LOL! No biggie but it's worth mentioning. OVERALL:We're still on the fence about our purchase but they're definitely worth checking out."

"Furniture shopping saga continues... Enter through the main entrance and take a left. Parking stalls are structured weirdly. Anywhos, Derek greeted me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I only mentioned a black or white dresser, totally forgot I was looking for a dining table. He was very knowledgeable with what they had in store but not what I was looking for. I decided to venture around while my dad checked out the sectional couches. He found one and we were chilling there for quite awhile but no one else came by so we decided to venture to the other side. My son really loved the red couch but reds just not in our color scheme, not even in his room lol. They had a lot of cute decor accessories for a beauty room."

"I wanted to reupholster 4 rattan chairs...old Pier One pieces. Old IKEA, Pier One, etc furniture are well made and worth recycling by reupholstering. The owner is a bit prickly but her staff are always friendly and helpful. I selected the fabric and left 2 chairs to begin with. It took a long time to get the 1st 2 done. I'd call every week but was told, "soon, soon" until 4 weeks had passed, was told they would call. They eventually did do, so I took the second pair in. Each time, I paid down on my deposit. I finally got all 4, which is why 4 not 5 stars. They do quality work and have parking which makes it easier if you know you can drive over for pickup and delivery."

"Very lovely and crafty...Tucked in the industrial area down Kapa'a Quarry Road is Bali Boo. I was in my way to Tradition Coffee when something just caught my eye and just one driveway down you can find this hidden shop filled with beautiful and unique furniture and decor for your personal space.Occupying quite a large space three buildings I believe some has multiple levels all filled with various of furniture and decor as I chose to walk in one of the main building there was a water feature of a Buddha which was so lovely and calming as soon as I walked I was greeted by a staff who described the layout of the buildings and that encouraged to browse around which I did.I did find quite a bit of glass art, glasses that were heated to a point t to confirm the base which is a piece of wood or drift wood which was quite stunning and would make a great statement piece from large to a single cup for $35 which would make a lovely gift. Finding this place was nice and felt like walking into an art gallery filled with various cultural pieces that was a pleasure to see.Thank you!"
