Awesome flower shop located in downtown Honolulu. I needed to grab a lei for my friend's graduation this week. I didn't feel like walking all the way to Chinatown so I looked at the flower shops on Fort Street. Thankfully Flower Fair was conveniently located near Beretania. I walked in and was assisted by a worker. I had a lot of questions and wasn't sure what to get, but she patiently assisted by offering suggestions and showing me the different leis. I told her I wasn't sure what to get and I'd come back on the day of the graduation to purchase it. She let me take pictures and think it over before I made my purchase the next day. I ended up purchasing a beautiful ti lei with white flowers. It was one of the suggestions the employee made. It looks simple and elegant. Perfect for my friend's graduation. Plus it was only $9.42 including tax. The price really can't be beat. I love such a friendly shop... and to support local businesses too! I am beyond impressed and thankful for the help I got.

I highly recommend this company when purchasing funeral wreaths, especially for someone who is coming from out of town. I arrived back home for my late grandmothers funeral and was in dire need of a floral wreath that fit my budget and accommodated a delivery that was within a week timeframe. BGS floral did an amazing job with ensuring thing were done in a timely manner and got back to me via text message quickly/efficiently. At first I was a little frustrated as I tried to call them multiple times during their available time frame - however no answer. I left a message via their voicemail and they got back to me within 1 business day. After that incident, they were easy to contact but our main form of communication was through text message. We spent roughly $500 each on two small serene blessings that came with easels and also included travel from their location (Ewa Beach) to Valley of the Temples - mind you, you may need to contact BGS floral to determine if they are able to deliver to Valley (thankfully they did for our date, March 15th). The wreath was delivered ($30 delivery fee) on time and the website description was accurate. Our wreaths were on the smaller side compared to the others from different florals, but we were aware that it was 26'' in diameter so it was expected. Otherwise, I would 100% use them again, not only for their professionalism, communication, and quality. Thank you BGS floral for making this such a smooth experience for a special day honoring my grandmother.

5 stars for an amazing same day flower delivery service for my best friend's baby boy at the hospital. Originally, I read the reviews but what really drawn me to Honolulu Florist was their great selection of "new baby" flowers with cute assorted vases. I went through so many companies online and nothing compared to what I could find on the Honolulu Florist website. There was a particular baby vase I was drawn to. A grey/white polka dotted elephant with an assortment of blue and white flowers, and a "Hello Baby" heart sign on the trunk; which fits the celebration. I ordered online with the premium size flower arrangement. Also, to confirm my order and requests; I made sure to call Honolulu Florist directly as soon as they opened at 8am. I spoke with the owner, Mady; who was really nice on the phone. She had confirmed that she have received my order and will make sure the arrangements are exactly what I had ordered and to deliver it around 1pm with two great choices of balloons that would be fitting for a baby boy theme. Today, my friend called and thanked me for the beautiful flower arrangements; which she took a photo of what it looks when delivered. I am 100% satisfied and I am very impressed by Honolulu Florist's customer service. Thank you so much Mady! You have just earned yourself a new loyal customer. I'll definitely order from your company again! :)

Of course I was that guy who had to buy flowers last second on Mothers Day and during these quarantine times lol. I get a pass though because I was slaving in the kitchen all day making breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the mothers in my family who came over to celebrate Mothers Day.Anyways, I must've went to 3 Safeways, 3 Times, 2 Foodlands, and 2 flower shops in Chinatown before I stumbled upon this place. Every place that I went to were sold outta flowers. I was this close to picking flowers from someones garden lol. The reviews for this place are horrendous, but fortunately for me, I had a pleasant time here. I thought the price for these flowers were the "norm." I bought each vase of mixed flowers for $49 each. I was prepared to buy $60 boutiques so this was definitely ok. The presentation was beautiful to me and it made the ladies happy.The staff are very fast and friendly. This place is located on your right side as you come down Maunakea Street off of Beretania. Only street parking are available and it's Chinatown people, streets are filled with criminals, homeless, druggies, and strange people. A matter of fact, there was almost a fight right in front of me while standing in line, but why am I not surprised. I practically grew up in Kalihi/Chinatown so unfortunately, this frequently happens. So in other words, please be mindful of your environment and surroundings when coming to Chinatown. Happy Mothers Day to all the actual mothers out there doing what they're supposed to do as a mother.

AH-MAZING to say the least! I called the day prior to when I needed my delivery done, (yes last minute). Chantelle answered my call even though they were in a big operations meeting. I sent email with my needs after we hung up and she responded within hours of my initial call. They were quick and responsive throughout the day. Kept me apprised along the way up until exact drop off WITH picture!!! The end result was WAY better than I had expected. They were able to meet my floral requests and more. The arrangement was gorgeous and looked way more than what I paid for. I can't thank them enough. I had never used them before or heard of them prior to searching for a florist on Yelp. Let's just say, I will be calling them for all my floral needs and recommending them to everyone who asks. Mahalo nunui to Chantelle, Angela and team!!!
