Jasmine C. "My mouth was watering as soon as I saw my plate!!It was my first time trying this place out, and I definitely don't regret going! First impression: it was busy with customers the time we went, so I was already expecting the food to be good lol! There's also a good amount of tables outside and inside the store. Customer service was nice and fast -- after you order, you sit yourself and wait for your number to be called. So many good food choices on the menu, but we wanted to try their classic best seller! My partner ordered their Spicy Garlic Chicken mini plate with Kimchee Cucumbers and I ordered the Garlic Furikake Chicken mini plate with Tuna & Egg Mac salad and a Pink Guava Lilikoi Lemonade. First off, the side dishes were served in a big portion (which I loved). Second, the food was aesthetically pleasing and SOOOOO TASTYYYY!! We absolutely loved their garlic chicken and how crispy it was! & third, I personally felt the lemonade was good but I wish I could taste more of the pink guava/lilikoi flavoring in it, as it was more heavy on the lemon flavor. We were super full so we didn't get the chance to try their dessert, but hey, it gives us an excuse to visit again asap lol! Overall, I really enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the quickness of the service! Will definitely come dine again and tell my family about it!"

Junella T. "No frills good home cooked food like from your mom's kitchen. This isn't near the Waikīkī metro area but closer to the resorts but we always stop by when we get a chance. Sometimes if you time it right there is no wait. We've tried a handful of things on the menu and I always go back to the tried and true. I love the lumpia here and I always get a side of the longaniza. They do one sweet one and one savory one. My go to is the two combo plate with one scoop of rice instead of two. I switch up the meats but I love the pinakbet and pancit. The portions are generous and we always have leftovers."

Maritess C. "I love coming here for breakfast and anytime of day. Food is always on point especially the arrozcaldo. My favorite and the kare kare. My favorite for breakfast is the corn beef omelette. My boyfriend and I usually come here for breakfast early since it isn't busy. Highly recommend if you love Filipino food. Definitely worth the money here. The waitresses are nice too. They refill your coffee right away and your waters."

Lisa T. "Lunch. lechon kawali, canton pansit, chicken adobo, black bean fish, garlic rice. Beef soup for dinner. Food = 5 stars. Customer service = 3 stars. Went in few times. Hard time to order, especially when there is a large party. Had few gift cards to use. Last month, dine in dinner, there was a big party there. No Customer service, didn't even get utensils. Had to ask for everything. Utensils, water, bill, take out box. Manager that night, Elizabeth, said my 2 gift cards were too old to use. After leaving, I checked on line, both cards totaled over $100+.I sent an inquiry to max's. General manager stated on email, can use old gift cards, emailed balances for both cards. Good thing I inquired. And General manager, Maly, said it's still good to use.Sharing my experiences. Note: Prior visits, Customer Service was bad. Being ignored. I am oriental, but not Filipino."

Keola K. "Let me start by saying.......my old school favorite hole in the wall spot. If you want homey food with tons of sauce and gravy, you'll be in heaven. If you are looking for fine dining, pretty Yelp post type dishes, this ain't your place., haha. My favorite.......the oh so cheap, simple, and delicious meat balls. Soft, mealy, sweet goodness haha. Mr hey also make a good adobo (reddish sauce style), shoyu chicken, pastele stew......hmmmmm actually never ordered something. I didn't like. They are open only later in evenings and not in the day so plan accordingly......they aim for that party people with an appetite haha. I'll always come back when I am hungry and it's late haha."

We walked by Pampanga Kitchen and glanced at the counter display of foods! My daughter grabbed my arm and pointed to a glistening tray of banana lumpia! Gorgeous caramel like coated banana lumpia!Okay. I ordered two for our consumption!Still warm, I took a small crackling bite of the lumpia. Delicious! Sweet and banana filled yummy goodness. Lisa B. "ARE YOU HUNGRY? GET OVER HERE!!!This newly hidden Waikiki gem is the only place in Waikiki I know of (lived here 30 years) that is open early, late and everything in between with comfort food (burgers), local (pork adobo) to a banana split that I sometimes need at 10:30pm after a long work day ;)At 11pm last night I was warmly greeted by the staff and surprisingly the owner too! The menu is brightly lit inside with paper copies to take as well.PERFECT amount of food items to choose from (see my screenshots).GREAT variety of items that are easy to remember and quickly order.I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich ($14.99) with the add on (5.99) crinkly cut fries and Diet Coke can. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Big 9" warm steak, peppers, melted cheese, toasted hoagie wrapped in foil and cut in 2 large halves. Hit the spot and can't wait to go back. They just opened a brick and morter location in the middle of the hostels on Lemon Road by the moped rentals."

Val D. "Awesome hole in the wall filipino restaurant located in the waipahu west gate shopping center next to two other filipino restaurants. Once I couldn't stay inside because it smelled too fishy, but today it was ok. I get more if i eat in than take out for the same price because I can fill my bowl a lot more than in a take out tray. Very different and authentic filipino dishes here.Goat stew (kaldereta) - 4 stars - because it's the only place that I know of that serves goat. This delicious dish has a strong stewed flavor that drowns out any hint of gaminess to the goat.Pigs feet - 3 stars - they gave a lot, but it was mostly bones and fat, hardly any meat. The flavor was a blended sweet sour taste.Vegetable with coconut sauce - 5 stars - I don't know the name of this dish, but I haven't seen this sold at any filipino restaurants I've been to.Overall, they offer a variety of great tasting different filipino dishes, especially a lot of vegetable choices that is cheaper than other restaurants.Parking is sometimes stiff and competitive."

Kim C. "To my dearest Pandesal, I love you but I just don't know about your family. They don't acknowledge me when I come. They are impatient with me when I ask questions. They talk bad about me in front of me. I may not speak Filipino fluently but I can understand. I just don't know what to do Pandesal because I'm head over heals over you! It's all worth it I will win them over, you wait and see. Your Beloved,Kim C. I just can't get enough of the pandesal from Golden Coin. I can eat a whole dozen to myself. It's made to order and it takes about 10 minutes if it's not busy. The only thing is customer service is not too great. At times I get overlooked. I didn't realize in the Philippines that they allow the elderly to go ahead of the line; until I visited when I was an adult. I'm unsure if that's what's happening when I come in. I may be Filipino but I'm not an expert in all of the dishes. I ask questions sometimes when it's not busy I want to try something different and get met with grief. Sometimes when I come in and the workers automatically talk to me in Filipino/Tagalog and I respond in English. It was a while back but the worker said something not nice in Filipino. Parking:It has its own private lot. Inside:There are several tables inside. It's situated like a Panada Express, there are ready made items that you can choose from to make a plate lunch or made to order items. Other Items I usually get:- I get a variety of dessert here. My favorite is the Ube Roll. - Pancit - Adobo ChickenParty Room:I have attended several parties at this location. The party area is located upstairs. Every party I attended had Lechon (roasted pig). Despite the service, I continue to come back for the pandesal, grab and go food, and desserts.2024: 6/30 I love you so much that I will take the stabs from your family :.......("

Deja A. "Ordered some food per DoorDash for my grandpa.I sent him some options and he picked Big Breakfast 2 Eggs, Meats. It stated the meal came with Fried rice, 3 eggs and 3 choices of meats : spam, bacon, Portuguese sausage and/or ham. + he ordered an Arizona Green tea.He chose bacon, spam and Portuguese sausage. It took about 10 minutes before this restaurant accepted the meal. Then another 30-40 minutes before it would be picked up and delivered.(This place may have been busy - that's fine)Once, he received his food - the Portuguese sausage was missing.I let DoorDash know and the refunded me some of the order. My grandpa doesn't eat a whole lot - he was satisfied with the meal."
