"Celebrated Lunar New Year here, so it's only right to update my review--especially since I've tried some new dishes that I need to rave about.I've dined in a few times now and love the ambiance. It's got a cool, modern vibe that makes it a great spot for a casual dinner or a fun date night. Pro tip: If there's a wait, scan the QR code outside to join the list. They'll text you when your table is ready, and you can even check your place in line. From now on, I'm ALWAYS ordering the Boom Boom Chicken. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sauce? That perfect tangy kick that had me wiping the sauce clean. The Mala Wonton Noodle was my boyfriend's lunar new year pick. Those shrimp and pork wontons are delicious but definitely require some chopstick finesse--no shame in the spoon scoop game! The noodles? Absolute perfection--chewy and bouncy! Next time, I'm adding black vinegar for an extra layer of flavor. And I still stand by my previous picks:Grandpa Rolling Beef - Tender braised beef shanks, crisp cucumber, and cabbage wrapped in a flaky scallion pancake, all drizzled with sake hoisin sauce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.Mala Wonton - A plateful of shrimp, pork, and water chestnut wontons with crunchy taro chips and cabbage, drenched in that addicting Fooki mala sauce & chili oil combo.Seafood Laksa - A rich, creamy curry coconut broth with wheat noodles, fish fillet, mussels, and a Fooki shrimp cake, brightened up with lime, mint, and kaffir lime."

David P. "Starting my next review after #200, I thought I would review a small business that I frequent quite often!! Yes, a lot of businesses including this one in Maunakea Marketplace have been affected due to the pandemic; and now thanks to the recent economic crisis. They may not be open daily, but when they are, please stop by!!These smoothies ranges with a variety of exotic flavors which displays the creativity of Chinatown. Sure, you can get your regular banana, blueberry, or strawberry; BUT if you are feeling adventurous...they have a good assortment of fruits which I suggest you try. Personally, I like to step out of my comfort zone, and get something new: jackfruit, soursop, or even a blend of tropical fruits such as: a pineapple and mango smoothie!! Of course, you cannot go wrong with some boba (tapioca) in there as well!! Some people are not fans, but hey, whatever floats your boat. The wife says: "Really yummy smoothies! Once, they let us know that the taro smoothie would be powdered taro, not real fruit. Love that its fresh and reasonably priced. We tried a few combinations; cashier also suggested a few drinks to us."So not everything is REAL FRUIT, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I support small businesses, and I hope they stay around for a long time. God bless y'all; and I hope to be writing more reviews as both time and my health permits."

My hubby actually recommended we come here for dessert and I agreed. I'm so glad we came. The mango coconut smoothie was perfect. It was a 10 out of 10, one of the best mangoes smoothies ever. Paul C. "It's been several years now since I don't work in the heart of Chinatown anymore. However, I still visit the area weekly and keep up with the businesses. Recently, I needed to pick up some food to bring over to my sister's place as her niece and family were coming to town from SoCal for a short visit. I wanted to get something local and to suit their palate so when advised they like sushi, I had my work cut out - - I'll get a sushi platter. I wanted something different from what I often see at get togethers, as well as supporting small businesses. I then recall Domo Café (DC) in Chinatown and glanced at their menu online. Party Tray #5 (Nigiri and Sashimi Trio) got my attention, and the decision was made. On one of my nights off, I trekked to Chinatown after work and scored street parking on Maunakea. DC is not what I remembered it to be - the doors were open and there were dining tables on both sides filled with customers eating. But then again, this was pre-COVID. This time, I noticed a neon "OPEN" sign with their doors closed and an unused sushi chef's counter on the right just as you enter. I had already decided what to order and it was good to see Queenie again. She recognized me and I advised her I needed a party tray for a potluck attended by 6 adults and 2 children. I placed my order for Party Tray #5 and received my receipt/confirmation via text.On the date of the event, I once again scored street parking on Maunakea and as I entered DC, I saw my party tray on the counter ready to go. They also provided a bag of pickled ginger and soy sauce packets. When I arrived at my sister's house, I opened the tray and it was colorful and nicely arranged. At first, I mistook the lemon slices as egg (tamago nigiri) and it brought a nice color contrast to the arrangement.Family members were all waiting for the sushi as after we took turns taking photos, they dug in and the nigiri and sashimi disappeared at a fast rate. Of what I sampled from the party tray, the hamachi nigiri exceeded my expectations. It was fresh and sliced at a thickness where I could appreciate the protein and was satisfied. To allow my guests enjoy, I decided to not eat any more from the party tray and ate potstickers instead.Overall, I am very pleased with the party tray from DC and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. They do have a large selection and venture to their other options.NOTE: Maunakea Municipal Parking lot adjacent to DC and they allow a 15min grace period. Preorder your food for a quick pick-up."

Irene M. "Spiling the tea on this location...Love it when you can just drive up right beside the door for some tea, and that's what this location offers considering they're right in the midst of busy Ke'eaumoku in the complex formerly occupied by Like Like as the nostalgic sign still stands proud on the corner of Ke'eaumoku and Kanunu Street and that's where you know you're there just pull in the driveway and it will be on your left.I do love their quite roomy space which it didn't really expect though with all that room they don't have much seating but are happy to have few available, the decor is quite on the simple side having more of their logo cups on the back wall shelves to fill up the space as there's no wall art like you see at other location...though their cups here are quite different from most places as they have that venti cups we're familiar at other competitors, but it's their frosted can glass ware that's stunning on that clearly expresses some Hawaiian vibe with the floral print the other with a surfing bunny which I do love both...wondering how I'd look with a full glass of freshly brewed tea.Speaking of tea it was the usual Pink Dragon Hibiscus that's my current obsession and it has all the yummies of it all with coconut milk and it's sure pretty I must say lol...cheers!Thank you!"

Grab a meal out at Moani or Foodland and come on over to Infinitea to cap it all off. My brother and I dropped by on New Year's Day, so shout out to the New Year's Day crew for providing fast, friendly service, especially on a day when a lot of shops were closed to celebrate the holiday. I ordered the Cookie Monster drink with boba and it was its usual fantastic self. Perfect for someone with a sweet tooth. It's not really a sit down spot directly inside as it's really more of an order, grab then go kind of shop. But overall, the energy/ambiance was solid. There's ample seating outside in the food court seating area. Plus, when you're in Hawai'i, boba is best enjoyed outside under the canopy shade as the trade winds cool you off along with the sweet (but not too sweet) boba drink from Infinitea. If you haven't had it yet, you'll be a believer- try the Cookie Monster, Ube Oreo or Matcha Oreo smoothies with boba - or all three and thank me later!"

I like that there is plenty of parking and places to sit inside. They play good music, the cashier was nice and I'd probably be back next time I'm in the area. I came kind of randomly one day looking for boba. Because I hadn't tried this place before, I didn't really know what to expect. My expectations were kinda low tbh. I like most drinks at places like this and it's usually pretty hard for me to decide. So I asked the cashier what she would recommend and she gave be a couple ideas, but they were already starred as favorites on the menu. I ended up ordering a watermelon tea and it was basically blended up watermelon with tea and a little sugar. It was nice and refreshing, but not out of this world.
