"Ryan and Zack were incredible captains! We saw a very rare super pod of dolphins, they were very curious about us. Excellent vibes on the boat. Easy and fast pickups and drop offs."
"This was one of the excursions we went on and it was perfect to watch the sunset!! I highly recommend it because you might get to see a whale, other boats and fish feeding time. The weather was just perfect, even out being in the middle of the ocean. 90 mins goes by quick!! I highly recommend this tour!! The captain and skipper were nice and the captain recommended a dinner spot in Chinatown town called the Lucky Belly, which we had tried that evening for our dinner. And we enjoyed the music while on the boat!! Great selections!!Thank you captain and skipper; we enjoyed our boat ride!!"
"I was blessed by the hospitable crew and atmosphere when I boarded Hondo operated by PCK Nautical. The occasion was for my husband's sea burial ceremony. We brought the ash in a water-soluble box provided by the crematory in Houston Texas. The crew prepared flower petals in a ceremonial bowl. The ceremony took place in the rear deck.First, the family cited a verse from the bible. After that, the captain read a poem for the occasion. Then, the rest of the family gave words of comfort. Finally, the father carried the box by the edge of the boat to release it into the water followed by the pretty flower petals. The whole ceremony took about 10 minutes.Part of this excursion was to sit on the deck to enjoy the scenery with some pupus on charcuterie board, champagne and ice cream. I was not prepared to consume anything because of the motions onboard. In this short hour-and-half tour, I saw Waikiki from the ocean as I had never seen before. Even when we lived in Waikiki for 6 years. His final wish was to ask his ashes to be scattered in the ocean near where we used to hang out. I was grateful that PCK Nautical offers sea burial service. I would want to come back to book other boat tours of 6 guest in the future."
"We had a great time. Only six people were on the trip. We snorkeled with turtles and saw whales. The captain and crew (Tyler) were great. Very informative, friendly and fun!! Thanks for a great trip."
"Fist of all crew was in the navy so you know your in good hands! Great time, we saw and fead fish even saw multiple sea turtles! Awesome music if requested and spotless boat! Would recommend hands down!"
"Booked a private boat charter with Steve of Kona Star for mother in law's 60th birthday. We booked two hours (3-5pm). The boat was very easy to find. We met Steve the owner and Steve the boat driver, both were super friendly and accommodating. The boat itself is very large, spacious, clean - the floors were remodeled in a non-slip material. Steve gave us a very nice tour on the drive out, detailing the history of Honolulu, which my in-laws really really loved. We stopped at a scenic spot out in the ocean with Diamond Head in the background, and got out to swim for a little bit. They had snacks for us after our swim. My kid loved the watermelon and pineapple that they cut up for us. They had all kinds of snacks available - sandwiches, cookies, chips, drinks, fruit, veggies, and cheese and crackers. On a separate note, my son had a brief meltdown after we took him out of the ocean, and Steve offered to hold him, which immediately calmed him down. My MIL is also deathly scared of boats, but she loved every second of this boat trip. Thank you so much to Steve and Steve for making her 60th birthday boat trip extra extra special. Definitely recommend Steve and this boat!!!"
"Highly recommended their turtle snorkeling tour. I went on a Saturday at 7:00 with a small group of 10, returning to the dock around 8:30. We saw at least 8 turtles, tons of fish and even a shark! If you do the early tour, you can see the sunrise too. This was my third time in Oahu/Honolulu and this was one of my favorite tours. All the workers were friendly and knowledgeable. It's a short boat ride from the dock too."
"I would have given a five, but the day before they cancelled our 4:30 pm and we could only go at 7 am. We had to get up at 4:00am to be there and forfeit a prepaid breakfast. Once we got there Kevin and crew were great. I grew up around boats and it's obvious Kevin is a good skipper. We were there for a whale watching, like always you can't depend on the whales to actually show up. Our whales didn't show. But Kevin took us to a place where there are sharks and he was able to get a couple to come to the boat, we also saw two sea turtles. No complaints in the actual excursion."
"AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! My friend and I joined the Best of the West turn at the beginning of June, and had such a great experience. The HIGHLIGHT: 1) Seeing 40-50 pilot whales next to the boat. It really is a once in a lifetime experience. But we were told this is a rare experience and does not happen on every tour. 2) Swimming with a sea turtle right in front of you (yes, we tried to keep the 10 feet recommended distance, but the little guy kept swimming towards us). But no tour can be perfect. We were lucky enough to spot a pod of spinner dolphins within the last 10-15 minutes of the tour. By that time, all the snorkeling gears were put away. The crew was very nice and accommodating, they passed the gears back out, and we hurried to jump in the water. However, we were only able to see the dolphins over the water for the most part, and they quickly swam away from us after we got into the ocean. Overall, this experience is amazing. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch sandwich and snacks were delicious. Tips: 1) Use the bathroom at the harbor before boarding the boat. 2) Arrive on time. It took us about 55 minutes to drive from Waikiki to Waianae Boat Harbor (no traffic)3) Get used to the water by swimming in the ocean or pool at least once before the tour. I did not do that, and it took me the first 10 minutes to get used to swimming with waives and snorkeling4) Take motion sickness medication if you have a slight chance of getting it. I've never vomited on a boat before, and I did 3 times on this boat because it's small and the waives were big. Three out of six guests felt nauseated, so better same than sorry. They also have cold towels, ginger candy and ginger ale on board. 5) Bring CASH to tip your crew. You will have a great time, and remember they are part of what made this experience wonderful."
"Super fun boat tour that gets you snorkeling, sliding and sightseeing! I booked this one specifically because of the ginormous inflatable slide and inflatable trampoline. I think it only takes 40 people so it's not super crowded and they provide Lifest snorkeling equipment snacks and drinks. They have a good ratio of staff to guests so there's always someone watching out for you. Easy to get to from Waikiki.Make sure you're sharing the aloha spirit and tip the crew after! I don't think a lot of people tip them but we did because we appreciated their service and want to support the locals!"
"2.27.22 sunset sail on the Kamoauli There are so many wonderful things that I need to say about this sail company. First thing is the immense wealth of Hawaiiana that one will get from going on a sail with Kamoauli. The crew this day consisted of the captain- Rob, crew help James, educator Hawaiian educator Pua and Hawaiian historian Kawika gave our small group the most beautiful experience I can remember. The many years I've lived in Hawaii being born and raised I had many times been at sea in a boat on more then several times for different reasons... I was even in an outrigger canoe team in High School. I highly recommend everyone and most anyone (unless you get easily sick at sea) to experience a sail on Kamoauli. It's a great touch into Hawaiian culture, food, song, dance and best of all... a beautiful sail into and around Honolulu bay. Added, scenery beautiful lesson on the Hawaiian Culture and immersive way to be around the whole reason why we live "Aloha" in Hawaii. The whole experience will make you feel encouraged, Loved, and you'll want to adapt into Hawaiian ways almost instantly.... share it, be it and live it - Hawaiian. Don't forget too to tip them before you leave... it's a priceless experience I definitely wanna go again when I can."
"We had such a great time on the sunset cruise! Couldn't have been better. Great drinks and service, and lots of whales! The light snack they served was also very good. Highly recommend this trip!"

I can't say enough great things. The boat was clean. The crew was fun, energetic and excited to share the sea with us. We saw several whales and two sea turtles. It was memorable to enjoy the sea life but regardless the boat trip is relaxing and recharging. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Honolulu.

My husband and I were a little hesitant that kids would like this glass bottom tour but it far exceeded our expectations. Austin was our captain along with his partner Cameron. They were amazing! Cameron even let us help him throw fish food into the water with him. The boat wasn't overly crowded. Had a great cover for shade out in the ocean and I would definitely do this again. Austin was sweet enough to locate a pod of dolphins and go over a ship wreck where sea turtles live. Affordable and my kids absolutely didn't want to leave by the end of the tour. Thanks Austin and Cameron!

Private charter with 6 friends took us on a fabulous sunset cruise along the Waikiki shoreline. First of all Parking was super convenient at the Ala Moana end of Kewalo basin. It was inexpensive and an easy machine was available taking cash or credit card. As soon as we got onboard we met the crew: Captain Pete, his wife Min and daughter Monkia. There were so hospitable and gracious! We got a tour of the spacious and well maintained yacht and was impressed with quality and workmanship onboard and also the cleanliness. The sitting area, kitchen, dining areas, sleeping quarters and restrooms were immaculate. Although refreshments and snacks were included, we brought our own wine and pupus to add to the occasion. I would suggest that if want to enjoy an alcoholic beverage. They supplies glasses and everything else you need.It was a perfect late afternoon for a cruise as the water was crystal clear and smooth. The ride was very comfortable and you can move around to the front to enjoy the views, go upstairs to sit and relax or even go into the bridge to visit with Capt Pete steering. Everything was perfect! I would highly recommend treating a group for a special occasion or splitting the bill for a nice evening out with friends. They also offer day trips with an opportunity to jump in the ocean and do some swimming!

Stepped out of the box into the ocean with the turtles to experience an amazing adventures recently. I have to say it was we had an amazing time on our turtle cruise. Captain Mike and our guide, Tyler took great care of us from there time we boarded, until our return. Groups are small total six per cruise making the experience fun and personable. As always, the guest were briefed to keep our distance from the turtles and for the safety of the turtles, no touching was allowed. Our tour that day took us to the a turtle cleaning station. A favorite place where turtles like to frequent to be cleaned by the abundance of fish in the area, preferably the Kole Tang. Tyler was extremely knowledgeable about turtles and had a great eye spotting and pointing them out to us. There were many turtles below and above making the experience super amazing. Some even got very close to us. They provided it all, floaters, mask, snorkels, and fins, just bring your towel and gopro. We were served a light snack going out and as we returned to the dock. Don't be just another number on another cruise, book with Diamond Head Cruises you won't be sorry.

Had the best time chartering the Adventure boat out of Waikiki~ We chose to see a little wildlife, snorkel a bit, and then asked them to give us a thrill ride along the coast. An amazing trip that is well worth the money. It was just the four of us along with the captain and his mate. We saw dolphins, a turtle, an octopus, and so much more. However the best part of the trip was pure speed on the ocean! This is a luxury experience that you cannot miss. You are not with any other family and are not going to the same 5 meters where all the tour guides go. Choose your adventure!

What a phenomenal experience! Captain Steve and Steve the boat owner went over the top to make the day absolutely perfect for Mom & me. The boat is beautiful and very well appointed. Snacks and cold beverages were wonderful~ the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head were exquisite. We will be back!

This experience was outstanding! Apparently they are a new company and they are doing things right. This is called semi-private tour which means it limits the number of people that you go with. That is purely awesome. Instead of being on a crowded boat you go with just a few other people. There is a guide that's with you in the water who has experience and knowledge of everything. Make sure to book the earliest possible time to maximize chances of seeing dolphins. On our tour got to see them. Between the price and experience I must say this is the absolute best thing you can do in Waikiki. If you are staying in Waikiki you can walk to this location so no cab necessary!Do yourself a favor. Book this tour!

We had a blast! The Ocean Outfitters team was welcoming and professional, kept the trip on schedule, and provided clean/well-fitting gear. The sharks didn't disappoint--we had several swimming with us and quite close. We got plenty of time with them, and the trainers did a great job of keeping everybody safe. We also saw dolphins and humpback whales on our trip, lucky! We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

"We went for the morning slot at 8:00am. It was perfect as the water was still relatively calm. The experience started with a safety briefing which included protocols for different species of sharks we might encounter. Gear provided were snorkels and fins. No wet suit as stated by Adrenaline although not a big deal. Make sure to wear dark swim suit. Sharks tend to become attracted to bright objects. We felt safe thanks to the professionalism of Taylor, Shane, and Cap'n Augie. Hold on to the line, feet downwards, avoid unnecessary splashing, and enjoy the experience in Shark territory. As an added bonus, we spotted a decent sized Barracuda too! Kudos to the grew for such a memorable experience. Mahalo"
"I have now done the Oahu dolphin tour 3x and the Oahu turtle tour 1x. I first discovered them a year ago and had the absolute privilege of meeting the owner herself! What a treat, Yuriko is the sweetest and I'm ever so thankful our paths crossed. The dolphin tour out of Waianae Harbor is most definitely a show stopper! It was my first time ever swimming in open water with dolphins. I've been lucky enough to see spinner and spotted dolphins on this tour! The last time we lucked up on a nursing pod and there were wee babies too!!! Absolutely breathtaking experience on the double decker boat with a slide, climbing wall, paddle boards etc. While we were cruising around we crossed across another pod and one spotted dolphin in particular was having a ball jumping through our wake a few times! Hahahaha it was fantastic first time experience for me on that one too. I swear he was giggling at all of us squealing at how cool he was! LolThe dolphin tour comes with a light lunch, juice, and water. The turtle tour goes out of Waikiki and its a much smaller boat, really enjoyed the small group for that tour. Max and Nate make a great team! We got the early morning tour so had a nice sunrise cruise out to the turtle spot. Lucky enough to get there so early because it got super crowded after about an hour and a bunch of other boats showed up and those guests from the other boats were loud and splish splashing and well rude. After swimming around and away from the gobs of people our group got blessed with a young turtle that popped up right in front of our group and hung out for a bit before we packed it on up and headed back. The cruise back was just as beautiful as the ride out with the sunrise. Such a peaceful and beautiful experience.Bring your own light snacks and water bottles on the turtle cruise. For both tours. All gear is provided so just bring some reef safe sunblock, wear your swimsuit and enjoy the views.Highly recommend and cannot wait to take my next swim!"
"I love nature and love doing hikes. I am glad I found the tour for Manoa Falls Trail. It was a perfect adventure for my husband and I. Both Jackson and Susumo were amazing. Couldn't have asked for better tour guides. The hike was not long which was nice. Everything was so beautiful to see. The waterfall was not as big which was fine. It has not been raining for a few days so we expected it. After the hike we went up to a viewpoint to have our lunch. The lunch that's included is not bad. I didn't expect it to be tasty. At the viewpoint you can see all of Waikiki beach and more. Overall my husband and I both enjoyed it."
"My boyfriend and I reserved the submarine scooter activity for our anniversary. It was such a neat experience, even those without strong swimming skills like me. The meeting location is located at Keahole St, behind the McDonalds. There are stairs you go down, and you meet up at the picnic tables near the boat. While boarding the boat, the crew offered us free snacks (chips) and water. It's important to stay hydrated since you will be going in the ocean. The crew took us to Koko Head, it was beautiful even though the skies were looking a little gloomy. They told us the ropes, and showed us the hand gestures we will be using while we are under water. While other groups are boarding the submarine scooters, the other groups that are waiting can snorkel around the boat. The snorkel gear are disinfected in a bin full of solution, and you rinse them with water in a bucket next the bin. Great sanitary measures! Unfortunately, the ocean currents were strong so it was pretty hard for me to navigate around without freaking out. This was my first time jumping into the middle of the ocean, let alone snorkeling, so I don't think it's ideal for a beginner. The water was also slightly cold since we went in the beginning of March, but the crew provided wetsuits. When it was my turn for the scooters, it was a little bit difficult for me to get into the bubble/bell helmet, but the crew member that helped me was very patient and guided me into the helmet. There will be a crew member with you at all times, including a professional scuba diver. They will guide you to the area and will push down your scooter about 10 feet below the water. You will have to equalize the pressure in your ears. Under the water, a crew member will come by and take photos of you/and your group together. They attached my scooter with my boyfriend's so we can have our photos taken. They will also attach a metal mesh bag with food to feed the fish! It was so cool having the fish swarm all over you. We even saw sea turtles! Coming back to the boat was easy, and dismounting the scooter is not difficult. A crew member will help you along the way. Once back onboard, you can towel off or continue to snorkel. Sadly it was too cold and the currents were too strong so no one wanted to snorkel at the end! But overall, it was such a neat experience and I highly recommend this activity to anyone that is visiting Oahu. The crew members were so patient, kind, and funny. They were awesome, so be sure to tip them well at the end of your activity!"
"The Atlantis submarine tour is an interesting experience and a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. It's not too terribly long, so you'll have plenty of time to do other things with your day after the tour. They take you out to the submarine via a short boat ride and the submarine goes down to about 100ft. You'll see plenty of marine life and some artifacts that they've placed underwater for this tour including sunken boats and an airplane. Both the submarine and the boat ride to the sub were super comfortable and the guide does an excellent job explaining and pointing out the marine life and artifacts. A little pricey for how short the tour is, but overall I would recommend it for the novelty...after all, how often do you get the chance to ride in a submarine and go down 100ft? The shortness of the tour can also be a plus because it gives you the rest of the day to do something else!"
"This marked my very first booze cruise, and I had an absolutely fantastic time! I wholeheartedly recommend this option - it's an easy 100/10.Before boarding, you'll need to remove your shoes, wash your feet with a host, and go in barefoot, ensuring the entire experience remains clean and free from mud and dirt tracks. However, the only drawback of being shoeless is when using the bathroom. So, I highly recommend utilizing it only at the beginning, as it might become a bit uncomfortable towards the end of the experience. They provide storage spaces for your shoes and bags. The boat boasts two floors, accessible by a ladder. The crew is excellent, prioritizing your safety at all times. They are not only very friendly and outgoing but also very comfortable to engage in casual conversations with. The yacht features a mini bar (not free) and a DJ, and you're pretty much free to wander around anywhere on board. What truly set this experience apart, of course, was the sunset view. It was an incredibly beautiful sight! The two-hour price comes in at $99 per person, but they frequently offer discounts and promotions on their website or other external platforms. It seems they also host special occasions on certain holidays."
"The boat itself was much smaller than we were expecting. The staff was very nice! The food was amazing! I do wish there was a/c or a fan at the least in the indoor seating area as it was very hot/humid and stuffy in there. I don't normally get motion sickness but unfortunately I got sick while on the boat a little after dinner but I was able to gather myself just in time to watch the fireworks show! It was such a beautiful view to see the fireworks and city view. I would go on this boat ride again, but will definitely be more prepared with the motion sickness part."
"They were great! The wife got to snorkel for the first time. They said there were turtles and there were. The captain and crew were great."
"Setting sail on this charter yacht in Waikiki was an experience like no other! Not only were the azure waters and Waikiki views absolutely breathtaking, but the yacht itself offered top-notch amenities tailored for the whole family. The children had an absolute blast, with activities catered just for them, making it a day to remember. As for the adults, the gourmet dining experience was exceptional - each dish was a fusion of local flavors with a sophisticated touch. The crew went above and beyond, ensuring our journey was smooth, safe, and informative. Whether you're a couple seeking a romantic escape or a family wanting a memorable adventure, this yacht experience in Waikiki is second to none."
"I am so sorry I didn't get all the names! Captain Jack and Whitney are all I can remember , I will do better Saturday! It was amazing! I live in Makaha so see the boat from our back lanai daily. We took our last visitors on the same tour in November 2022 and we were hooked!"
"This will be my only review for shark cage diving because I won't be doing this again in my lifetime due to my personal fears. This one hour activity was very exhilarating but quite a scary experience for me. I remember the year "Jaws" came out ... I didn't go swimming all summer! I only did this because I didn't want my daughter to do this by herself. Aren't I the best Mom? * If you get motion sick , it may be helpful to take anti -motion sickness pills/ medication the night before. ( I didn't because I had to drive there. My daughter did though and she survived the rough waters.) The tour asks the participants to arrive 1/2 hour earlier than their booked time. Meet in the parking lot by the two story building. There's time to visit the restroom around the corner in this building too, because the tour starts promptly at the appointed time. We booked our tour at the hotel concierge where we were staying .This tour was a bit pricier, ($142 per Adult ) but had more times available. We booked the 11am. Once you arrive at the location, your tour person will call out your names before you get on the boat. Once everyone is on board you go for a 3 mile fast boat ride to the cage location in the middle of the ocean. (I think the first run they set up the cage. Since we were the last time , the staff hauled the cage back into the boat after we viewed the sharks). Meanwhile, a staff will direct you to put on your snorkel gear which they lend you. I was glad to have put on a sun screen shirt because floating around in the cage you may get sunburned. Also, pay attention to instructions on how you get into and out of the cage. Since the boat is rocking with the waves , it's more difficult than you realize! Don't think too much .. just get your gear on and proceed into the cage. If you are as lucky as we were on this trip you'll see lots of sharks. The staff did mentioned there were more than usual. However, keep in mind that they can't guarantee shark sightings. Since there were only 6 of us signed up, the staff let us all go in at once! ( there's plenty of room the the cage .) That means more time in the waters looking for sharks. We didn't have to look too hard because the sharks were swimming all around us! The staff allowed us to remain in the cage longer because we were a smaller group. ( * when you book the tour, ask how many people have signed up ... the smaller the number the better .) Wow, what an experience! My daughter loved it ! I was supposed to film the go pro for my daughter , but I was too afraid/panic stricken trying to keep afloat. She was able to film it herself. At least , I hope she thinks I'm a "cooler Mom " after this."
"Was a great experience on this boat! Went with some friends for Friday fireworks. Great boat very roomy probably fits about 100+ ppl. Dj was playing music and atmosphere was so fun! Bar with drinks to purchase and u also can bring your own food. Recommend to come earlier so you can get a place at the table cos it's limited so if you want to sit down better arrive ahead of time. Overall highly recommend!"
"While this was not our first-ever charter fishing experience, it was without a doubt the BEST EVER! Our son researched numerous companies, and based on those reviews, we went with Captain Jim for our great adventure. The boat was in great shape - the bathroom was clean and had all you'd need (LOL!). All lines, poles, and lures were stowed so as not provide any trip/fall hazard. The crew was exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive to everyone in the family. Our group of 5 (2 grandparents, our son, and 2 grandkids) are most certainly not expert fishermen - but from beginning to end, Captain Jim & first mate Hugo made our deep sea fishing expedition a fabulous time to remember. The initial safety and orientation briefing was professional, *quick,* and well-accepted by young and old alike, and off we went into the glorious waters off the shore of Oahu. We were truly in the "deep blue sea" in short order, ready and willing to cast our lines. Once back on shore, Captain Jim filleted and bagged our catch for dinner that evening, and we couldn't have gone to bed happier. We actually "fed the family" four nights with the delicious mahi-mahi, aka "Tenderloin of the Ocean."Side note: My husband had a favorite shirt that he unfortunately left on the boat in his exuberance to show off our catch to others in our group (firm and steady land-lubbers) who had elected to stay ashore. We contacted Captain Jim, who quickly found and mailed it to our home on the far shores of the mainland! Truly "above and beyond" is his motto!Deep sea fishing with Captain Jim Sportfishing is definitely a must-do adventure for anyone visiting Oahu, and we highly recommend you contact Captain Jim. Many, many thanks to Captain Jim and Hugo!"
"We had a great sail with Pau Hana. Would definitely use this company again. We came on this trip to spread my Father's ashes and they were very respectful to all of us. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!"
"Used this company through viator to go whale watching. It was worth it. They did change the tour time but fortunately for us we were lucky enough to spot a whale! Very good experience. They provided some light snacks and some corny commentary and jokes! Highly recommend. Just remember there is no guarantee to see a whale so don't be upset if you don't!"
"We booked 3hrs charter to celebrate birthday! It was a great experience. Crews of Mulan provide nice services and they are really professional. I would definitely recommend them and get a sunset time charter next time."
"Mana Cruises, Jacob, Ella, Matteo and Marco made a 2-hour sunset cruise an amazingly memorable experience for my family. Pre- cruise everything was communicated clearly with prompt follow up and upon boarding the safety and tour of the boat was great. The small group size made the experience very enjoyable and during our cruise Matteo and Marco were engaging and attentive to everyone's needs. We saw whales in the distance, and several large groups of dolphins! The pupu platter bites was perfect as we enjoyed the sunset and good company. The boat and amenities were clean and we will be recommending this outfit to anyone who is visiting KoOlina and Oahu. Wonderful evening on the water and mahalo!"
"My wife coordinated this outing for my family in honor of my birthday, and it didn't disappoint. Our boat with 6 people caught 30 amberjack and skipjack fish. Parking is available near the boat for a pay by hour cost using one of two apps. Their timeline for return was accurate, and we even got to a point of being out where we had enough and were ready to return a little early. Bathrooms are available in a nearby building with key from the boat, or on the boat itself. A majority of the people on the boat took motion sickness medicine prior to the trip to avoid any issue. It was consistent waves the whole trip with no stopping so be prepared. The boat has a covered area with table and seats, along with air conditioning and fans. We brought some snacks and a cooler with drinks and food that we put out on the table for all to consume as desired. The crew put the lines in the water for the large fish which we didn't catch any of. Apparently the reel spins when a fish is on the line and you jump on it to reel it in. I've never been sport fishing to know the feeling of reeling one in or seeing one reeled in. After some time waiting for something to hit and everyone getting tired, they put the smaller poles in the water and allowed people to hold them trolling. This is how we caught the fish we did catch that ranged in size from probably 12-20". They put up a little fight and we lost a few along the way that could've been much larger but we'll never know. Upon return, a neighbor boat gave us a 25 lb fish they caught since the crew was cleaning our catch. I don't eat fish but my wife is very happy with what we brought home. The crew was very helpful in trying to provide a pleasurable experience by helping with the poles, advising, and cleaning fish to take home. Overall a great experience and we would likely return hoping to catch something larger."
"Best time ever. Saw 3 or 4 different species of dolphins and the turtLes were active. The penguins were quite shy.Crew, Jenna and Mandy were terrific. Lisa had everything ready inside. Amazing experience!!!!"
"Great staff. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Also helps that the staff falls within the same generation as I.Didn't see any full body breach but did see some spouts and fins which was cool.Great experience"
"Great time! I was expecting a bigger boat, but it was comfortable and enough space for all of us. We got there about 1hr early and we were able to find parking. There's a ton of parking for trailers, but parking shouldn't be an issue if you have either the early or later time slot. It was a short boat ride and they took us to see some sea turtles swimming around. Once we got to the sandbar, we jumped off to get our life jacket. They had beach toys to keep busy and they escort you in a half circle to snorkel. We came on a bad day and it was super windy and cold as heck. My kid was a trooper, but I could tell he was having a rough time with the cold and wind. One of the employees helped him out.One the ride back, they provide drinks and snacks (musubis were delicious). Overall, this was one tour I was looking forward to on my Hawaii trip and even with the cold, it was a cool experience. I hope to come back again to really enjoy the water."
"KBOS was quite an experience. Our group of 4 arrived at 8am for a 9am arrival. Parking was easy, anything on the left that has signs for 4 hours is fine. There is a bathroom near the general store.Seatings on the boat is assigned so no need for fighting. It can house around 100 people. They provide donuts, water, and juice. You can bring your own food. There is live music. There's bathroom on the boat. Once we arrived to our destination, the sandbar, we did the banana boat and bumper boat. This is where we are pulled by a boat doing extreme turns. Be sure to grip hard. If you fall off, the boat driver will stop. So don't worry. The rest of the sandbar time is up to you. Chill at the couches on the sandbar. Paddleboard. Kayak. Snorkel. Swim around. The whole activity including travel time is 4 hours."
"I highly recommend the Snorkeling with Turtles semi-private tour with Hawaii Ocean Charters and our tour guide Francesco! My husband and I had an amazing experience with the group. We were incredibly lucky to spot whales as soon as we set sail, and the tour guides made it even more special by sharing fascinating details--not just about the whales, but throughout the entire trip.Once we arrived at Turtle Bay, they provided all the snorkeling equipment, explained the safety guidelines, and even gave a beginner-friendly lesson on snorkeling, which I really appreciated since it was my first time. The guides were super helpful and made me feel comfortable in the water. We spent an hour swimming and exploring, spotting plenty of marine life--including, of course, the turtles! Seeing them up close was a truly special moment for me, as turtles are my favorite animal. To top it off, we cruised around Diamond Head, offering a perfect opportunity for photos. The tour includes snorkeling gear, water and soft drinks, plenty of space on the boat to sit back and enjoy the views, and tons of interesting insights from the guides. The small group setting made the experience even more enjoyable and personal.Huge thanks to Francesco and the entire team for such an unforgettable adventure!"
