"Typical American diner environment.It was quie in the morning besides the elderly singles/families having their coffee/breakfast.I had 2x of the Kalbi Lunch Plates & 1x of the short stack pancakes. Total was roughly $66.Kailua town has the worst pricing due to the influx of tourists & inflation. These days it's comparable to Waikiki prices.Good: food was yummyMain hostess was nice.Food was quick 10-15minsBad: -small portions$26 for a kalbi lunch plate that came with small kimchee side, a dollop of cabbage and 2pcs kalbi and 1 scoop rice each plate.-lack of convenience/// please consider having your team ask for a customer's name & write it on their bag if its just left on the takeout table-idk her name but the 2nd girl working was obviously only helping me to grab my order when she was checking my receipt, she made sure to check for a tip (girl bffr,on a takeout order of 3 plates, with 2 being entrees) LOLs-the slowness effect of morning time visitors especially catering to elderly customers who want to talk story with each employee Note: I don't know why the BCD owners (if they're connected or not, I don't really know) didn't try harder to keep BCD Kaimuki open- because that location's cooks could really COOK. Even when it was busy and the wait time was little bit longer, it definitely left you feeling like it was worth the drive/wait for the food.They did charge $1 extra compared to Kailua location, but the portions were so worth the extra $1."

"This place used to be a downstairs bar/ food establishment that we loved! We arrived today to find out it's now at Tequila bar downstairs with limited food, and that the same owner opened up a new place upstairs still called Tropics. I recommend going upstairs more food choices and also looks like a sports bar. The girl that served us was wonderful too."

Tapa Bar

"Showed up for Happy Hour (3-5pm) Labor Day weekend, but was informed that the Happy Hour specials were not being offered during the union strike. My server was super nice and got my drinks quickly despite the circumstances. Hilton had to pivot quickly for food service with CJ's and Round Table pizza serving their menus. Was able to get a table by the pool.The pina colada was refreshing, and the Mai Tai was strong. Even though service was a little slow, everyone was friendly and professional. Would definitely come back when things go back to normal and visit at night during live music. This was the place to be on hotel premises. Thanks for the afternoon cocktails after a long hula festival weekend."
