"You would think Leslie's on Kokea St would be this seedy little joint, but it's not so bad. I used to come here often with my co-workers because one of the supervisors knew the owner. The place is pretty big. It has a full bar upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs has booths and a small dance floor. Usually a horrible low paying CD DJ will play some crappy tunes. There is karaoke for $1.00 but the song book is very outdated.Upstairs has a bar and a few booths available. They can close off the upstairs portion for private parties. There is also a private room up there. If you book the room upstairs, the private room is usually used for the food as that is where they set up the buffett trays. Upstairs and downstairs has restrooms. The bartenders are friendly enough. The food was always yummy. There is an assortment of domestic beers and some imports. No one bothered you - no thugs or rif raff. There's enough private and street parking. It's fairly clean and the biggest plus is it's probably one of the only bars in Kalihi that is open until 4am.The only gripe is the beer and alcohol here is a little pricey considering it being a Kapalama canal bar. The rest of the bars on the strip of Kokea and Kohou St. charge a bit less."
"This place was around a while, if I remember correctly the name changed from Ting's Place....This bar is for the older crowd...They have electronic dart boards and karaoke, and for the old timers thats good enough......This lounge is located in waipahu, right up the road from the fire station on leoleo street which runs parallel to farrington hwy. ocean side......So if your looking for that laid back, not to wild place to just relax and have a few drinks....This is your stop....But I must warn you these old timers can get pretty wild...LOLIt's been so long since I walked in this place must have been at least 15 years or so ...A really good friend of mine suggested we go check out this spot, because the lady that cooked here was his neighbor, and she kept telling him to drop by, but he never had the time or was never in the area, so this was his chance to show face....So the time comes and we finally get to meet aunty, tiny, filipino, older lady but really nice, after she has her chat, she heads to the kitchen....And man the food started rolling out, filled up our whole table......I wish I could remember what we ordered because everything was so good.....I could not remember cause I had a slight case of amnesia after swallowing so much brewski's ......Money well spent in my book....Next day was a whole different story....Bad hang over....Every small bar or lounge has it's regulars that stop by to have a few, some on a daily basis......And this place has a few of their own...Really cool place.....I will certainly like to check this place out again....Another thing is the parking situation, there's a small parking lot on the waikiki side of the entrance, it's small and fill's up pretty fast...There's also on street parking which is on a first come basis....So good luck with that......Aloha"

"Still one of the great local family owned Mexican food joints on Oahu's east side. For me, I think I'm a regular, I've always had great service and welcomed with a warm greeting and friendly smile. Food is good and service is very good. Complete bar with most of the Mexican beverages you'll need. For us, we prefer Hornitos tequila that they don't seem to be able to get oft but many other are available. While I really don't go out for good Mexican or Tex-Mex food, we know how and make our own very good Tex-Mex food at home, I really do think their pork chops are the best locally for the price and flavor. If you're not sure what you want and the others in your group want Tex-Mex, go and order the pork chops. You will not regret your decision.Dickie and Freddie, the owners come by and do spend time at their place to check up on things. Their nephew, who manages the place is also there most of the time to insure standards are met.Overall, a very casual local joint with nice audience and friendly people."
"Walked in nice not to crazy place to watch a game. The atmosphere is so nice. Workers are so friends and service was great I would defiantly recommend this place to others and the food is amazing I loved every bit of it."
"Romantic and fun date spot for those who are interested in trying something you can tell your friends about. This restaurant is located near Walmart in town. ADA accessible entrance, though it might be a tight fit. We had the sweetest waitress here, Vicki, who was attentive and went above and beyond for us. At the end of our meal we wanted to order their dessert, but they were out. Vicki found some Melona bars in the freezer that I think were the cook's personal stash and gave them to us with a smile. Thank you Vicki for making our stay special. The skewers here are delicious. You can order the perfect amount to be full without wasting any food. Great for groups who want to try lots of different things. The cucumber salad was a nice balance to all the meats. The only thing we can think of to make this even better, is if iSing (karaoke bar) next door and Volcano Skewer House partnered up :) these skewers would make the perfect karaoke food."
"Came here as a local recommended.. Is 1/2 off ANY liquor night (including the good stuff).. this place is located right above dave a busters and you need to go thru dnb to get to it. Looks cool, good clubving music."
"Out of all the Korean bars I've been to this is by far the cleanest. Also, the girls are nice and they don't get out-of-hand drunk.I've been here before when it was Maya's... What a difference--it's so much cleaner as a whole. June Mama really knows what she's doing."
"Ahaha, oh dear. We came on a night out ready to party and there were just no people here! It's possible it depends on which night you go though :)"
"Located in Waikiki, it's been a while since Lunch was served. On the corner across from the Halekulani, parking is available at the Embassy Suites. Came here for a media preview of the lunch menu. I will hands down tell you that my favorite will always be miso butterfish. I did like the crab cake that was available and the burger. Pricing isn't bad at all and reasonable considering where you are. There is live music and a full bar to enjoy. So anyone want to meet for lunch?"
"I like this theater because it's large and clean. Parking is free at Kahala Mall. This theater has a variety of hot foods besides popcorn and sodas. Service is friendly and it has a separate ticket purchase area. The theater seating is the recliner type with a tray table. Pretty new as well. Bathroom area for men and women."
"Proof Social Club is such a cute bar! My friends and I love coming here to support the local drag queens... yes, they are very much LGBT friendly, and we love that! We ordered a few mimosas, along with the French Peasant (this was a meat and cheese board). The mimosas were light, fresh, and served in super cute mason jars. The meat and cheese board was arranged very nicely, and tasted amazing! My favorite was the creamy cheese on the bread, with some salami on top. Overall, great place to chill with some friends after work!"
"I had no idea there was a Persian restaurant in Hawaii! We decided to visit on evening when we were in the area for drinks. We got the naan and hummus, stuffed grape leaves, cucumber salad, eggplant stew and beef and lamb sandwich. Everything was tasty but I especially liked the eggplant stew. The rice inside the stuffed grape leaves was kind of wet/mushy for my taste. Portions were a little small for the prices. We were the only ones in the restaurant so service was fine.I'm not sure if there is parking, we parked on the street in the metered stalls."

Started coming here a few months back.Reasons:1) It's along the way home2) Food is excellent3) Non-skimpy long island teas!4) Friend's auto repair shop is nearbyTing's has been in business for 30+ years. Its in Waipahu on the Corner of Leoleo and Leonui Streets (Across from Big League grill/formerly waipahu deli) and right next door the the old waipahu city mill location!Every afternoon the same regular pau hana crowd... good folks. If you like spicy food, order the thai Chicken curry, HOT.I havent had anything on the menu that is bad ofr not to my liking. Order the fried chicken skin... it might not be good for you but it sure tastes good!No draft beer here... bottles and mixed drinks only.

Jose's our favorite Mexican Food Restaurant on the east side of Oahu. Locally owned and operated. Lots of parking in the public parking lot. Our server did an awesome job. We had the Macho Nachos, Chimichanga, Big Kahuna, and the Vegetable Burrito. All perfectly prepared and delicious.

My friends and I went to Volcano Skewer House for the first time. The service was great and we ordered a lot.Scallion Pancake, pork belly skewers, beef tendon skewers, and century egg & Tofu Salad. My favorite was the Scallion Pancake. I like how light and crispy it was. My favorite skewer was the pork tendon skewer. We order slightly spicy on the skewers. So, I liked the light spice season on the pork tendon. The century egg & Tofu Salad was pretty good. A light tofu salad dish. My friends really enjoyed the century egg and tofu salad dish. The skewers are small but for the price. It's worth it. $5 for 1-4 pieces of skewers. If you ccombine those skewers portions together, a decent portion. Nice to share around with friends. We were all full at the end of the dinner. We I come back again? Yes, i would.

Love the rooftop. It's a nice place to chill and have drinks... Except the drinks were super weak. Totally watered down. After 3 you would think I at least feel some slight buzz, but nothing at all. The food was awful. We ordered the kalua pork sliders which were freezing cold when they came out. The waitress told us there's cold air blowing on the food, how in the world does this make sense? The kalua pork nachos were decent. Service was good. Overall eat before you come that's for sure and go for the atmosphere and DJ, don't waste your money on their drinks!

This is a Korean hostess and sports bar so sit alone at the bar & chill with 2-8pm happy hour $4 domestic beer or sit in a booth buying $20 nekohana (non-alcohic green tea for hostess' time) for company, up to you. Tomoko speaks English and Japanese but not Korean so locals and Japanese guys will like her. She talks straight and a lot, no b.s.Karaoke is available and singing in your booth gives you some privacy and anonymity but not a lot.Food smells good and it's not that crowded all the time so you can find an open booth usually and just chill and sing by yourself if you like at night when the d.j. is there.Ask for TOMOKO by name! You won't regret it!

"You can bring you're own food...they have food available there. Good karaoke drinks r reasonable . Friendly Bartenders. Good place 2 hang out w/ friends or have"
"Fun relaxing Korean karaoke bar. Great service and warm welcome The busiest Karaoke in Kalihi. Cheap beer and fun place to watching sports or meeting friends"
"This is a 3 star place with excellent service - getting it bumped up.Our server was professional, polite, and on top of his game.Food was good. I didn't walk away craving to come back. Plenty of seating, a salad bar that I didn't partake in. I went to look at it and it was low end. Also easy parking - especially if you are planning to head to the navy exchange/commissary"
"Best DJ James Coles night great friendly staff you're gonna love it. Jelly best bartender ever"
"Located upstairs in H Mart Kaka'ako's Food Hall next to Black Sheep Cream Co, we took notice of their $0.99 canned beer special as we were dining in today. We stopped and talked the friendly counter girl who said the special only was for Pabst Blue Ribbon cans and was available all-day (11am - 9pm). This bar offers a Happy Hour from 11am - 4pm so you can check out the prices on their menu board to see what's available. In addition to beer, Let Them Talk Bar offers wines (California & New Zealand vineyards), cocktails and makkoli. I'm sure their digital menu will update as the vintages and/or vineyards change. The prices are reasonable. We didn't get any alcoholic beverages today but we're looking forward to trying one or two of their cocktails or beers while we nosh on Korean fried chicken or other foods from this Food Hall."
"This place is such a hidden gem! Love the food, love the service, and love the vibe! This bar serves as a regular pub + izakaya. They have different menus and both menus are available all night long until last call. I've been here a couple times already and we love to come here for dinner and drinks, and to play some darts!I think we'll become regulars as they have the most affordable price for beers I've seen on the island."
"ATTENTION...all you LOCO MOCO fans out there! There's a secret gem hidden in the Mililani area that makes the BEST LOCO MOCO! Not kidding! I'm not a fan of this dish, but for some odd reason I was hungry for this that night. As I was looking over the menu, the description of this dish just caught my attention! Plus...I was so hangry and I wanted to eat something that was going to make my 'opu (stomach) happy and full. My friend decided to ordered this as well. When the loco moco arrived, we were in awe on the portion size of it! Omgeeee! It was pretty BIG and it looked so good.Let me tell you, as I took each bite of this "divine" dish, I was doin' the ...HAPPY DANCE with my fork! I savored each bite until my plate was clean! The hamburger patties were homemade...nothing processed here. It was moist, tender and so flavorful. The gravy was...AMAZING and my eggs were cooked just as I requested. So, if you LOVE ...LOCO MOCO and wanna try the...BEST... in my opinion, lol. Go and drive out to THE CLUBHOUSE located at the Mililani Golf Course. You'll thank me for that!"
"Omg. Ask 10 people at the airport if there is anywhere to sit and have a drink/snack and they will either say Starbucks or back to a gate. No one, will direct you to this lone bastion of places outside security to get a drink and wait for your friend who is delayed two hours. Bartender was super friendly and holy hallelujah were we thrilled to see him. Beer is cold and wet, which checked all of our boxes for the moment."
"Our server, Aiko was amazing. She took care of our party of 4 and was very efficient at her job. We really appreciated her timeliness and attentiveness. For starters, we ordered the Crispy Shrimp(7/10), Kalbi (10/10), & Poke Nachos (4/10) My nephew had the keiki cheeseburger meal and he loved their fries. Super thin, lite and crispy! I ordered the 604 bento (10/10) it came with fried noodles, rice, garlic chicken and mac salad. The whole bento was mayjah but the best part was hands down the fried noodles . We also got the pulled pork tacos (7/10) & a 604 breakfast plate (choice of eggs, meat and starch) the outdoor patio seating was actually really nice. It's a spacious area that overlooks the 10th hole as well as a side view of the driving range. There was a private party area also located outdoors and it looked good for a party of 30-50 ppl give or take. The best part about seating outside was the refreshing cool trade winds. There was also a stage area for live bands and a decent size for a dance floor."
"I'm never disappointed when I go here. All the food is so yummy and the drinks were perfect. Service was great as usual.*Tip: Go for Happy Hour for a more affordable meal."
"We came here for karaoke and arrived early to reserve a room. With just three of us, they were able to accommodate us easily. The deal was to spend $150 on food and drinks, plus $2 per song for karaoke. I appreciated that the bathrooms were clean, which is always a nice touch. The food was great, and we ordered a lot of soju--but as a light drinker, I didn't feel the effects, which made me think it might have been watered down. Other than that, it's always a fun experience with karaoke, and I really enjoy Korean food!"
"What's not to love about a 7 hour happy "hour"??? While the drinks aren't that strong, the ambiance, staff, and food more than make up for it. Besides - $12 for a mai tai and pizza? Count me in! Really enjoyed checking out the art. Lots to enjoy - even if it's not your style. (What were those bear things anyway? lol...)"
"Located by in the same shopping center as Starbucks and Walgreens Nu'uanu, ShinshoTei is a hole-in-the-wall karaoke bar with affordable drinks and good food!!It's a small bar with a few bar seats and a couple of tables. Best to go on weekdays if you can or go early on weekends for the least crowded times. The one food item I always have to get is the String Green Beans. If you like spicy, get the String Bean Deluxe! Tossed with a garlicky spicy sauce, it also has opae and spam. So yummy. Honestly, any of the string bean dishes they have are delish. We also like the yakisoba, pork chops and crinkle cut fries! All are flavored and cooked well. Cheers to ShinshoTei in Nu'uanu! I'm so glad they are still doing well during this pandemic. Go support local! They offer food takeout as well if you are not able to dine in."
"#Grateful for bartender Marty and cook Thomas this is a new place in my amazing neighborhood we will be stopping by often they have karaoke the food is definitely fresh and hot plenty of free parking lots of games and live music on certain days you will not be disappointed try to always support local remember 70% of the money you spend local stays local I have discovered paradise and I am never leaving this island I have been here over 4 years and I will definitely have my friends and family stopped by every time they visit Aloha from Paradise #bigfunglasses"
"Here's a TL;DR review of Koromo!Parking: Free, it's at the pearlridge mall next to Gen's BBQ. The GPS took us to the older adjacent mall.Food was awesome. It took some time to come out but they kept us occupied. They let you grind up your own sesame (to pair with the tonkatsu sauce) and it's UNLIMITED CABBAGE! They kept topping us off! Ambiance was a few steps above casual. It's clean and nice in there. Upscale I would say.Just a fair warning it is a little expensive, some dishes pushing $30-$40 per plate. The curry is really savory with a small little spice to it.If you're in the area and are craving something you can trust, I'd totally recommend Koromo."
"Yes this place is fun so much cover fee at door is $20 bucks and there's no tables or chairs to sit unless u reserved one for yourself n a group.DJ was great love the club lightings n security is top notch there.Feel safe there.A lot of dancing n drinking haha.Drinks are kinda pricey there for a small cup but when your having fun it doesn't matter lol"
"The owner is super nice and always has pleasant conversations with her customers when I stopped by! I loved getting to try flavored Kava - I think chocolate was the flavor I tried and it was really good! Recommend stopping by and catching her at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market on saturdays if you're in the area!- Miguel Morales Photography"
"We did happy hour here the day before NYE so thankfully the place was relatively empty the whole night. Got a whole bunch of dishes off their pupu menu and a bunch of drinks. Service was quick and friendly. Food was pretty good with the garlic Frings (fries and onion rings) and the won ton being our faves."
"hands down best latin night club inhawaii, relaxed dress code, amazing drinks andgood latin music"
"Bar35 is a whole vibe. I came in the on a Saturday night during Happy Hour and they offer amazing deals on drinks. I have yet to try their food but I definitely will next time. My favorite cocktail was Miss Chinatown. Shoutout to the bartender for being so sweet."
"Club Momo.Com is the former Club Moon Flower, nestled between Camelot and Club Secret on Sheridan. ...These K Bars are infamous for changing ownership (and names) like the way we change our underwear. It's really hard to keep up.Anyway, last night was my first time at Club Momo.Com. (I really can't get over the ".com" as you can see.) The set up is entirely the same as Moon Flower.. Bathroom and all. Service was almost lazy and inattentive. I'm figuring it's bc I'm a girl and I'm not one of Club Momo.com's girls.. I actually don't recall seeing many girls.. The shots were HUGE. ...I'm talking DOUBLES every single time. That's definitely not really a problem for people who love drinking as much as I do... This may possibly be the reason I woke up this morning feeling like I was run over by the Mystery Machine.BTW, hours are pretty crazy cool for those of you who like to get the party started early. 12PM (noon) until 2AM daily. FTW. Yeah.Yelp 365 - #302/365"
"This is a great place to go if you are here for a short time. It has WI-FI, food and two bars and it's on base. Plus its super cheap. I would go here if I only had a couple of days in Hawaii and wanted a place to hang out.The parking is free and large. And if the parking lot closet to the complex gets filled up there is plenty of additional parking around the complex. There are a couple things located in the complex. There is:The Liberty Center. They offer a computer lab which has internet, lots of comfortable couches, game systems you can play on and they usually show films on the large screens on the weekend. Brews and Cues. This is a good place to get a glass of beer and shoot some pool with your friends. The bar is large and there is plenty of seating for you just to hang out. This place is also a microbrewery. I haven't had it personally but I've heard it's great!!!Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. They are open late and deal with the drunk people well. The quality of the staff and the food is really good. You can't really go wrong here if you need some munchies because your drunk. The Country Bar. I love this bar. I think the reason I love this bar is the staff. The dj who usually works is awesome. But so is the back up dj. If you want a song they will find it for you. They will also do a shout out for you if you request it. They will even arrange for special moments. (My fiancee worked out my proposal there and the whole bar helped him out.) The bartenders are very nice. The drinks are cheap and strong (even though they are simple). And the bouncers are nice and will only kick you out if your completely plastered or getting in fights at the bar. There aren't many fights at the bar but when they do happen they are dealt with immediately and nobody ever gets hurt there. Another plus to the place is the dance floor. There are many dance clubs in Hawaii but none have a dance floor this large. The dancers aren't really that great but nobody is trying to win a contest there. They are there to have a good time. If your new to the bar scene come here because you'll meet lots of friends who become like family and everyone watches out for each other.Aside from this there are many events held at this center. The last thing that was held there was the Blowing off smoke. It was a cigar and drink event. 20 bucks for 2 cigars, four drinks and give-aways. Pretty neat deal here.If your looking for a chill place to drink, play pool, eat junk food and dance. Club pearl is the place to be (if your military or have friends who are military )"
"My cousin came in from the mainland room him here. Advised him that a Korean club ladies come sit with you, they bring pupus.. drinks.. and some kissing.. hugging.. and talk story if you can understand broken English .Ordered some pupus french fries, chicken wings, chop steak everything was hot and fresh and delicious... Drinks came coming in left & right! he loved all the attention!"
