"Everything we ate here was so flavorful! Definitely a spot to come and try especially when they have live music playing. Order the lilikoi mule, you won't be disappointed!"
"We came here for karaoke and arrived early to reserve a room. With just three of us, they were able to accommodate us easily. The deal was to spend $150 on food and drinks, plus $2 per song for karaoke. I appreciated that the bathrooms were clean, which is always a nice touch. The food was great, and we ordered a lot of soju--but as a light drinker, I didn't feel the effects, which made me think it might have been watered down. Other than that, it's always a fun experience with karaoke, and I really enjoy Korean food!"

"Dinner with friends. Nice open atmosphere here. Well lit and great service here. They let us stay there for a very long time to talk with each other and enjoy our meal here. A bit noisy with large groups tonight. We just needed to speak a bit louder to hear each other. Appetizers were delicious and tasty. Wine choices were very nice. One fruity and light, while the other red, was rich and smooth. I ordered the small clam garlic sauce Farinacca. The pasta was covered with chopped clams and three shelled clams. The sauce was light and garlicky. Fresh hot bread was provided with butter. A nice touch, but don't eat too much! Your appetite will be spoiled. See pictures for the yummy dishes we enjoyed here. Restrooms are available inside the restaurant. Service : 5/5 starsAmbiance: 4/5 starsGood: 4/5 stars"
"This hole in the wall dive bar has da BEST Shredded Beef Burrito ( GET IT WET!) The service is always friendly and attentive when building your custom Mexican food made to order!Mondays are trivia night and Tuesday's Live music. No time to enjoy the local crowd for the fun.Ordered my food to go so I can get home to my girls (4-poodles) lol!Definitely my GO TO Shredded Beef Burrito Spot here in Kailua!Yum! Yum! Mouth is watering as I type this 5-STAR REVIEW!"
"Bar35 is a whole vibe. I came in the on a Saturday night during Happy Hour and they offer amazing deals on drinks. I have yet to try their food but I definitely will next time. My favorite cocktail was Miss Chinatown. Shoutout to the bartender for being so sweet."
"Here's a TL;DR review of Koromo!Parking: Free, it's at the pearlridge mall next to Gen's BBQ. The GPS took us to the older adjacent mall.Food was awesome. It took some time to come out but they kept us occupied. They let you grind up your own sesame (to pair with the tonkatsu sauce) and it's UNLIMITED CABBAGE! They kept topping us off! Ambiance was a few steps above casual. It's clean and nice in there. Upscale I would say.Just a fair warning it is a little expensive, some dishes pushing $30-$40 per plate. The curry is really savory with a small little spice to it.If you're in the area and are craving something you can trust, I'd totally recommend Koromo."
"This place is such a hidden gem! Love the food, love the service, and love the vibe! This bar serves as a regular pub + izakaya. They have different menus and both menus are available all night long until last call. I've been here a couple times already and we love to come here for dinner and drinks, and to play some darts!I think we'll become regulars as they have the most affordable price for beers I've seen on the island."
"It's been awhile since I have eaten here. My boyfriend wanted to spoil me today. We were the only ones in the restaurant around 10:30 or 11 am. We were hungry. I couldn't finish my dish but I ended up having the lobster enchiladas which came with rice and beans. I also ordered a lychee margarita which was a little bit sour. Tasted like a hard lemonade. We also decided to get chips and salsa. The green sauce was the best and tasted delicious. My boyfriend got the shrimp dish and he let me try his shrimp. Really good. My lobster enchiladas was good but a little salty when I got to eat the lobster. I literally couldn't finish them. Service was excellent by our waitress. She was nice and catered to us. I would definitely come back here again."
"This is a 3 star place with excellent service - getting it bumped up.Our server was professional, polite, and on top of his game.Food was good. I didn't walk away craving to come back. Plenty of seating, a salad bar that I didn't partake in. I went to look at it and it was low end. Also easy parking - especially if you are planning to head to the navy exchange/commissary"
"I had no idea there was a Persian restaurant in Hawaii! We decided to visit on evening when we were in the area for drinks. We got the naan and hummus, stuffed grape leaves, cucumber salad, eggplant stew and beef and lamb sandwich. Everything was tasty but I especially liked the eggplant stew. The rice inside the stuffed grape leaves was kind of wet/mushy for my taste. Portions were a little small for the prices. We were the only ones in the restaurant so service was fine.I'm not sure if there is parking, we parked on the street in the metered stalls."
"Our server, Aiko was amazing. She took care of our party of 4 and was very efficient at her job. We really appreciated her timeliness and attentiveness. For starters, we ordered the Crispy Shrimp(7/10), Kalbi (10/10), & Poke Nachos (4/10) My nephew had the keiki cheeseburger meal and he loved their fries. Super thin, lite and crispy! I ordered the 604 bento (10/10) it came with fried noodles, rice, garlic chicken and mac salad. The whole bento was mayjah but the best part was hands down the fried noodles . We also got the pulled pork tacos (7/10) & a 604 breakfast plate (choice of eggs, meat and starch) the outdoor patio seating was actually really nice. It's a spacious area that overlooks the 10th hole as well as a side view of the driving range. There was a private party area also located outdoors and it looked good for a party of 30-50 ppl give or take. The best part about seating outside was the refreshing cool trade winds. There was also a stage area for live bands and a decent size for a dance floor."
"I'm from Hawaii but used to live Texas. I figure i try it because it's nearby. I hate to compare but my god the food was better than some of the top bbq places in Texas!!!!!Also ate in there, very clean and spacious. Lots of people order take out. Only one out of 3 staff members were actually friendly lol. The guy David has a big Texas hat, local Braddah and super friendly and helpful with my mom explaining what the sides were, comparing it to local foods. Loved it! He went above and beyond to help us choose what to get and even gave us wet naps. It wasn't busy when we ate there, after he helped us, he's fixing the kitchen and sweeping while the other two was straight chilling where customers sit. David stayed busy. So hardworking. Love to see that at establishments! Way to go David. But the food was majaaaah."

Aloha! This is a very impressive little restaurant. The food is phenomenally good. I've been here several times and have had nearly a third of their menu items, a few more than once. The staff is exceptionally friendly, outgoing, accommodating and efficient. There's live entertainment on the weekends, playing the kind of music you'd expect to hear on Oahu.If you're staying at the Hampton Inn, just 150 ft door to door, consider yourself lucky. I'd like to personally thank Anna and Colton for making my visits fun, enjoyable, putting a smile on my face and taking care of every need. Mahalo, A hui hou. -Steve

Cafe Duck Butt is the perfect spot for a fun night out, and I had an amazing time there with my girlfriends! We kicked off the evening with karaoke, belting out our favorite tunes in a private room that was spacious enough for the four of us to feel comfortable. The sound system was great, making us feel like stars in our own mini concert. To fuel our fun, we dug into some delicious pupus that hit the spot. The highlight of the night was definitely the drinks--both the watermelon and lava flow soju were so refreshing and tasty, we couldn't get enough. The service was friendly and kept everything running smoothly. One thing to note: the karaoke rooms are really cold, so come prepared with a jacket or dress extra cozy in sweats and a hoodie--it's worth it to stay comfortable while you sing your heart out. The vibe at Cafe Duck Butt is super laid-back, and the quirky, cool artwork outside adds a unique touch to the overall experience. If you're looking for a spot to laugh, sing, and share great food and drinks with friends, this is it. I'd absolutely recommend Cafe Duck Butt and can't wait to go back for another memorable night!

***late post***I ate here last week Friday. I called and asked if I need to make a reservation, and was told there was room for my party of 2. It's located in Waimalu Shopping plaza with Safeway and City Mill and there's ample parking spaces. There are 2 separate dining areas: one as you enter and another to the right. You pass the bar as you head towards the second dining area. It's nice and romanticish. Not necessary to be dressy. The service was good: friendly and attentive enough. The food: we ordered Cesar Salad, lasagna and Chicken Paesano and a glass of white wine. The complementary bread was hot and tasty. The Cesar salad tasted homemade but was a tad bit salty, maybe too much anchovies? Idk. My lasagna was just ok because it was missing seasoning and too sweet. The serving was huge for me. The Chicken Paesano was good but the sauce was too watery and not enough noodles. My total bill was $93.04, not including tip.I always wanted to try this place but it wasn't an authentic Italian experience. If you like your Italian food sweet, you won't be disappointed eating here.

100% hit the spot!! Exactly everything I need in a good burrito. Portion sizes: Phenomenal, packed with all the flavors and easily shareable. So many chips too, my belly almost couldn't handle it... and that is a great problem to have. Flavor: Amazing, I have had a rough time finding tasty Mexican food on the island and this was exactly what I needed. Service: Fast and reliable, I called in an order to go and they had it ready for me in ten minutes. I really would love to dine in next time as well, but it was a great meal to eat on Kailua Beach down the road. Parking: This is the only question I have, because I had called it in I just had my husband drop me off and I ran in and grabbed it while he waited in the car. But I don't know where to park if we were to dine in... looks like I'll need to go back and scope it out again ;) TIPS & TRICKS: * Don't forget to check into Yelp and redeem your taco!!!!

Koromo is a restaurant specializing in katsu, located in pearlridge "downtown". I like parking in the shaded lot near longs and going up the escalator to the mall level so that my car doesn't get hot. Also, the upper floor parking lot is not designed very well and I always feel like I'm waiting forever up there. Once upstairs, if you walk towards the entrance to the upper floor parking lot, it's on the right, across from mango mango and aloha salads. The inside is kind of homey. I think they try to fit as many people inside as possible because the tables are a little squished or placed at kind of awkward angles. There were a few other couples dining at the same time... it looked like a couple of office workers and then some tourists. I was surprised the tourists came all the way to pearlridge for Katsu.... It's probably not something I'd do or recommend because there are so many other choices. Koromo must do good marketing to tourists. For lunch on a weekday there was no wait, but I think this place could get crowded because it isn't that big of a restaurant. However, the waitress told me to wait for my friend before she seated me... I thought that was a bit unnecessary, but it allowed me a couple minutes to look at the menu posted outside the restaurant. They offer lunch specials, which is nice because the regular menu prices are all over $20 per plate. I got the pork Katsu lunch special for $17. It came with rice, cabbage and miso soup. You can add one of two dressings to the cabbage to make a cabbage salad and there are two types of Katsu sauce. The service was good. We were checked on regularly and they allowed us to split the check. Our waters were always refilled and the waitresses were nice except for that beginning part when they wouldn't seat me unless my friend was there. If you like Katsu, this is the place to go in pearlridge or probably anywhere in Pearl city/aiea. There are similar restaurants in town/waikiki that I think I prefer, but this is a good alternative if you're in the area.

This place is like 2 restaurants in one. They offer great quality sushi and great quality Burgers and fries. The prices are very reasonable and on par with most sushi bars. They even have a Vegan Menu. You'll find dart boards, and video games inside. The staff here is really friendly and very attentive. If you are looking for a bar scene to visit with good quality food, this is the place for you. The only negatives about this place is that the parking lot is very small with limited street parking. It can also get a bit noisy but that's kind of what you expect for a bar type restaurant with bar tables and booths.

Decided to try here as it look good. A small restaurant, but they fit many seats. Lots of mexican decorations with Hawaii flare to them. I was a little disappointed that they charge for chips and salsa, so I skipped on that. Price for food was average for mexican food. I got the enchilada plate with shredded beef. It was super flavorful and delicious! The beans and rice were also seasoned well. The entire plate was filled which made it worth the price. 5/5! The server was attentive and kept my water full. The only thing that made me give this a 4/5 is that after I got home, I felt super tired and got a headache. I skipped dinner that night and the headache stayed until the next day. I think it may be because they might use package sazon and i'm sensitive to MSG and this was all I ate. Probably won't return due to this, but it's definitely a good place to check out if you're craving flavorful mexican food! Parking: Tight and may have to circle around in the lot to get a stall.

"My good friends - Chi & Lin were home from Germany, so we decided to make a small get together with da intermediate skool/high skool/college gang, and "King Restaurant & Bar" was the place of choice for our little get together.I've seen quite a few of my Yelp buddies post wonderful reviews & pics of King Restaurant & Bar, but what really deterred me from coming here sooner was the nearby sketchy bums that mainly hang around the front area off of the Kapiolani Blvd. entrance area.Unfortunately for me, I didn't know there was a large parking lot & a back entrance of the restaurant. This parking lot & entrance faces the Keeaumoku Walmart & Sam's Club.Had I known about that, I would have come here sooner, as this restaurant serves up some pretty yummy Chinese grub!I originally thought we were gonna do the dim sum thing for lunch, buy my friend Matt K. went all out and ordered a menu more for like a Chinese dinner. We had ordered the following grub -Peking DuckPeking Duck Skin in BunSteamed Fish Filet with Ginger & Onion SauceBeef Chow Fun (dry style)Shrimp Look FunSalted Fish & Chicken Fried RiceHoney Walnut ShrimpDry Fried String Bean with Minced PorkWhat can I say about the grub?I must say the food was outstanding! It was really hard to pick which dish I liked better, as all of the items that we ordered was so tasty & flavorful!Service was wonderful, and the food came out quickly (probably due to my friend Matt pre-ordering the menu before we came here), and it was nice that we had a private dining room so we could take our time eating, & having long fun conversation. As good as the food was, I was even more happy to see all of my intermediate skool, high skool, & college friends, as we don't get to see each other all of the time."
"(+) Above the Moku surf shop, we stumbled upon this great restaurant for dinner in Waikiki. They were very accommodating for our large party. Service was good.(++) Nice menu, lots of options I wanted to try. Marlin was the catch of the day and it was delicious with the pesto macadamia sauce. The menu actually recommends available sauces for fish versus meat.(+) Live music was legit, definitely my era of music, but chill cover versions and the musician recorded live loops to build the instrumentals & accompaniment (+) Bathroom was downstairs and requires a key, it's a little bit of an adventure to reach it. There are a couple mini video game systems and monitors to play Super Mario, kids we were with and myself enjoyed that."
"Hands down... sat at the bar to have great sushi and a cocktail. Good ambivalence and conveniently located for me.Service, food and drinks... 10I am not sure why this place is not busier.. great layout, amazing service and honestly best sushi/cocktail bar I have ever been in.Missing my special partner... but put a smile on my face that really needed it!If I can add another star I would! This place will not let you down!Come and enjoy and ask 101 questions... they got you!"
"Official Keto Prescription Review! Been meaning to come here for a while since it's nearby. Lots of free parking in the Market City Shopping Center. We were able to beat the crowd with a 5:45pm reservation. Johnny is one of the owners and served us all night. He knows I'm keto so was able to accommodate us perfectly. We started with the crispy pork belly which was perfectly cooked. The vinegar sauce has Calamansi lime added to it which gave it a nice flavor. Nice twist. I was hoping to order the escargot, but apparently there's been a shortage for a couple months. I wonder what's up with all the snail farms? Really wanted to try the meatballs minus the pasta so he suggested it "pupu style." The sauce was so good that I pretty much cleaned my bowl of it. It's a light, very slightly creamy mushroom sauce that paired well. The meatballs were accompanied by mushrooms, artichoke hearts and a small amount of spinach. I would order this again. Jeff order the braised short ribs minus the mashed potatoes and liked it. The meat was tender and it came with what tasted like a red wine reduction sauce. He was full when we left. It's nice to support a local business who's open to modifying menu items for low carb/keto people. Next up, trying to convince them to offer zucchini noodles in place of pasta or a keto pizza crust. Their pizzas look so good!"
"We did happy hour here the day before NYE so thankfully the place was relatively empty the whole night. Got a whole bunch of dishes off their pupu menu and a bunch of drinks. Service was quick and friendly. Food was pretty good with the garlic Frings (fries and onion rings) and the won ton being our faves."
"Romantic and fun date spot for those who are interested in trying something you can tell your friends about. This restaurant is located near Walmart in town. ADA accessible entrance, though it might be a tight fit. We had the sweetest waitress here, Vicki, who was attentive and went above and beyond for us. At the end of our meal we wanted to order their dessert, but they were out. Vicki found some Melona bars in the freezer that I think were the cook's personal stash and gave them to us with a smile. Thank you Vicki for making our stay special. The skewers here are delicious. You can order the perfect amount to be full without wasting any food. Great for groups who want to try lots of different things. The cucumber salad was a nice balance to all the meats. The only thing we can think of to make this even better, is if iSing (karaoke bar) next door and Volcano Skewer House partnered up :) these skewers would make the perfect karaoke food."
"I have walked by here several times but never stopped. After searching YELP for a buffalo wing place I recognized The Nighthawk name and read the reviews and decided that it was time to stop and get some wings. Saturday afternoon and a good crowd there, the bar had a few of the college games on and it was a friendly atmosphere. I ordered buffalo wings to go and had a beer. The food is fresh and tasty. They serve the wings with a ranch dressing and some spicy sweet pickles chips. I recommend the wings and The Nighthawk. I think my next order I will see if they can fry them a little longer just because that is how u like them. Bartender was great."
"Stopped by the Beach House on a Saturday evening, the same day as the International Marketplace night market.Relatively empty when we went. They have a pretty good drink deal for 1 shot and 1 beer for $10. Unfortunately, there were a few options that were unavailable, but it did not affect as we were still able to have a good time! The only downside, I had asked for a mule, but the bartender must have misheard me and made some sort of spiked tea (which was still ok), just paid a few extra dollars. I didn't notice until he was halfway done making the drink once he started mixing different alcohols haha. They have a few TVs, dance floor, pool table, and darts. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Bathrooms on site. A few tables that seem to be reservable. General vibe is geared towards an older crowd. Looks like they have $10 covers for Saturday nights.Overall, not a bad spot to get a good $10 shot and beer deal."
"6-11-21 our orders of club sandwich, fish tacos and chicken sandwich disappeared in a flash. The chicken sandwich included veggies and a spicy sauce. The fries were excellent. The club sandwich looked really good cut into triangles and came with chips. The fish tacos were good as Little Sweetie's mom offered her a taste.Everything was good quality and perfectly prepared. Excellent for a poolside grill - tasty, juicy and highly recommended. When you purchase a certain dollar amount of food you can validate your parking ticket so it costs nothing additional to exit the parking structure."
"This is a review for the lunch. I was hoping this place would be better than the last tenant, Cinnamon's. However, it unfortunately ended up being mediocre, just like Cinnamon's.We had Mai Tais first and they were okay. We didn't care for the coconut rum in it. The next up, the Plantation Iced Tea cocktail was too bitter and too much citrus taste for our liking.Wings were the best food I had at this restaurant. The sweet chili sauce was sweet but spicy, as it was supposed to be. Loco Moco was like pre-made frozen beef patties and canned gravy. That might not be the case, but that was how they tasted like.Fish and Chips' fish had too much batter and the actual fish inside was very tiny. Also the tartar sauce wasn't very good. However, the French fries were decent. The service was great and everyone was friendly. It took a long time for the food to arrive, though. Overall, my experience was insignificant."
"Honestly didn't expect such a GOOD meal at the airport. Banana pancakes are my go to in the islands and they didn't disappoint. Had a Bloody Mary as well, a lil pricey but hit the spot. Our server was hard pressed but took care of us and checked back in a timely manner. They understaff, it appears, but it's an airport restaurant....Beautiful garden adjacent so the view was outstanding vs other airports I've been to. Bar seating just as good as table."
"I have known about this place for years, but never brought myself to check it out. Came here on a weekday, not crowded at all. Service was okay, on the slower side. I like this spot because its casual. Parking can be tough, we just parked at Ala Moana Center and walked over. The Grub.[[ That Pizza W/ Egg $22 ]] This pizza is topped with mushrooms, onions, garlic, truffle oil, prosciutto and an egg! WOW. This pizza is bomb! The toppings were a perfect combination, wasnt a huge fan of the dough/crust. Overall: I been here twice so far this month and I'm hooked!"
"Three stars for the music. Negative stars for the service and terrible drinks. Rude. No excuse for that kind of service. Bartender said her mai tai was favorite cocktail, worse Mai tai I have ever had in my life. Apparently, a local-only hangout.Serious shout out for the amazing music however!"
"Very unassuming late night Japanese spot. Walked by this spot many times thinking it was a storage place, but when you walk inside it's a small Japanese bar with karaoke rooms available. Speakeasy vibes. Server mentioned they have been open since 2019. We unexpectedly stopped by for a few drinks with friends. I tried the Kiwami Lemon Sour ($12) and it tasted good. If you prefer a certain drink not listed on the menu, ask if they can make for you. They were able to accommodate our friend and make him Old Fashioned. Affordable spot. The service was attentive and friendly. Our server let us talk and enjoy our drinks for a while without bothering us too much. Relaxing spot! Did not try the food, next time!"
"My cousin came in from the mainland room him here. Advised him that a Korean club ladies come sit with you, they bring pupus.. drinks.. and some kissing.. hugging.. and talk story if you can understand broken English .Ordered some pupus french fries, chicken wings, chop steak everything was hot and fresh and delicious... Drinks came coming in left & right! he loved all the attention!"
"This is the first time for me and my friend to come to this bar. My friend told me it was a hostess bar and I was fine with it. As long as they had good drinks and good service I'm fine with any bar.Came here and we didn't know there was a cover charge of $7 per person but once you pay the cover charges you get a ticket for a free beer or pay a little for a mix drink. Me and my friend sat at the bar and one of the girl was helping us while she was bartending. I forgot her name but she was really friendly and made us feel welcome here since we told her it was our first time here. The service was amazing, everyone here made us feel welcomed. The drinks were all on the stronger side but that's fantastic for us! We just ordered drinks no food, they would have some drinks on sale too depending on what day it is and stuff so they would have like half off shots or cheap beers, etc, etc. Inside the place was pretty loud! loud music playing and there was also someone's birthday party going on too so it was more louder too! It was okay, but as long as I can hear the bartender it was fine. This place was great! I really enjoyed the vibe of everyone and the strong drinks as well! if you want a chill place to drink I would come here for a drink and go:)"
"Located in Waikiki, it's been a while since Lunch was served. On the corner across from the Halekulani, parking is available at the Embassy Suites. Came here for a media preview of the lunch menu. I will hands down tell you that my favorite will always be miso butterfish. I did like the crab cake that was available and the burger. Pricing isn't bad at all and reasonable considering where you are. There is live music and a full bar to enjoy. So anyone want to meet for lunch?"
"We dined here a couple times for breakfast and dinner during our stay here and the food never disappoints! You get a really nice view of the garden/gazebo area and lots of booths and tvs!Shoutout to Mona for being a fantastic server! We've stayed here last year and recognized her from last time! She is really good at remembering our orders by memory and always gives us good recommendations about where to go and where to find hidden gems! Thank you for making our experience eating here enjoyable!"
"Still such a great spot for happy hour but it does end at 5:30pm. Live music is daily and starts at 6pm. Chill ambiance and always friendly service. It's located at the Laylow hotel so they have valet parking. I always suggest making a reservation as it gets busy."
"Big giant fish burger!!! It was amazing!!!! The service was friendly and quick!A bad started playing also! The ambiance was amazing!"
"As you read the reviews, you'll notice that they have very strict guidelines as to their seating procedures. Number one, they will not see you unless your entire party is there. They won't even consider you. Number two, while you were waiting, they will not let you go to the bar and get a cocktail. That was super weird. You cannot get a cup of hot tea, you cannot get a glass of water, nothing. Very strange. As for the food, the fish bites were very good! Not as good as Nico's in Kailua, but pretty gosh darn good. The rest of the food was good as well. Nothing special but it is a beautiful environment."
"We were seated quickly when we arrived. This spot is a little farther down the strip of things so the crowds weren't bad later in the night. The service was prompt and friendly. Seating is out on the patio and they are far enough away from others that it feels intimate at your table. I loved the vegan ramen. The broth was tasty, hearty, and spicy (as advertised). The amount of veggies and tofu was perfect. It was a great meal."
"Food was tasty, we ordered the Coconut Shrimp appetizer, which came with a zesty sweet/sour sauce. Tropics Teriyaki Burger, and the Fish Sandwich (Blue Marlin) was a big hit. People watching on the beach was fun but the birds can be a problem at the dining tables if any food is left unattended. Pricey but the food was good."
