"Located next to Dipped by Dee's in Aiea. Lots of parking outside of Queen Street Cafe and Grill. I got the shrimp... super yummy! The service was great, as I entered the Aunty took my order and gave suggestions on what to order. I didnt realize a lot of people come here."
"As I started writing this review, I realized that all of the 3 photos I've posted so far are of the avocado burger, so I wonder if you can guess my go-to order here? LOL I do also get fries every time but for some reason never took photos of those.Burgers can be ordered 1/2 or 1/3 pound and by default come with a kaiser roll, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. But you could also get wheat or rye bread. The burgers are delicious, although you need to be able to handle messy burgers that are taller than they are wide. I recommend ordering to go even if you dine in, because then your burger comes wrapped in foil which is convenient for keeping your hands dry while eating! There are also paper towel rolls at every table and a bathroom around back to wash your hands though. The fries are shoestring fries, which are tasty and not so common, so they're nice to get.I've also tried the grilled fish sandwich (very good) and pastrami sandwich (not bad). The fish available will usually be ahi, but mahi and ono are also possibilities according to the menu. There are lots of inside tables and some outside tables. It's pretty cold inside so I opt for outside when available. Finally, parking: there's a handful of stalls in the front and more in a small lot in the back."

"When any of my family visit from the mainland they ALL want to hit this friendly joint for brunch a couple of times. What's not to love? Delicious food, daily specials, good drip coffee, superior service, a pleasant island atmosphere, and AMPLE PARKING right in Haleiwa. If they have anything "benedict" when you visit, try it, their hollendaise sauce is on point. Ditto anything with green sauce like their huevos rancheros."
"Wow, what a surprise for me. I pass here all the time and finally made a stop to give it a try.The atmosphere was cozy and had a relaxing feel.I saw the owner, he was giving a little history of his restaurant to a customer. The cashier was very pleasant and gave her recommendations to try the half chicken because it came with dark and white meat.I got to say it was super good! I had a choice of starch which I chose white rice and two choices of sauce BBQ and a Teri sauce. Both had a unique taste of its own.I can't wait to come back and try different items. What a great experience."
"We went to Cafe Morey's this past Sunday.Food was terrific! Nice cafe and quant place. And the service and staff were very friendly and pleasant! We will be a regular here!!!"
"This is a 3 star place with excellent service - getting it bumped up.Our server was professional, polite, and on top of his game.Food was good. I didn't walk away craving to come back. Plenty of seating, a salad bar that I didn't partake in. I went to look at it and it was low end. Also easy parking - especially if you are planning to head to the navy exchange/commissary"
"Daily specials are freakin of the hook this year again ... the dynamite crab poke bowl OMG yum I will be back again soon Soo delicious!!!"
"Outside of Waikiki with parking underneathThat have all the local drafts and many other taps. The food is also great. Tots poke sliders all hit home."
"Takeout Dinner in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii...Looking for a quick meal nearby, I searched my Yelp app and found Garden Island Café. I was relieved to see reviews from my friends, Jo Y., Fran C., Gail U., Marisa G., Iris T., Serena M., Julie T., Alice N., and Jace T. They're trustworthy Yelpers!Free parking was a breeze. Inside, several customers were waiting in line for their orders. The competent, friendly cashier interacted with each person politely and efficiently!I got the two daily specials at $10.25 each: Garlic Fish and Beef Broccoli. The "to-go" bag was ready in no time. When I opened the boxes at home, I was surprised at the generous amount of beef broccoli - filled to capacity! The garlic fish was delicious! I was really happy with the food and service! I look forward to returning and getting the next weekly special!"
"A Thursday afternoon and the place filled up quickly as the Pau Hana mode approached. Bloody Mary and tapped beer were all refreshing. Fish and Chips remains high on the must have list! Burger was an outstanding choice, big, thick and juicy. The Rueben also pleased my new guest. Glad to see a key business thriving once again! Service was very good and kudos to the very busy bartender!"
"We haven't been here in years!! Since we were around the area and was hungry, my wife wanted to eat at The Shack. Lunch time was surprisingly sparse with people. We seated ourselves, hoping someone saw us enter (they did). The waitress greeted us and was friendly. She started us with drinks. I looked around the restaurant, which looked kinda cramped with ALOT of tables and chairs kinda close together. I can only imagine when this place is packed with people. Thank God we ate at a slow time. For appetizer, we ordered the deep fried mozzarella (which was very ono). Wife ordered the pastrami rueben with tots. I had the turkey sandwich with fries. Waitress came with our food in about 20mins Which was acceptable. Food was cooked very well, and we were very pleased with this visit, and i thought The Shack was an underrated eating establishment."
"A huge NO from me and my ohana that came here after a Janet Jackson concert especially after we were pretty much ignored the entire night. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt because it was busy but after seeing others being tended to that arrived after us, it was clear that she was picking and choosing who she wanted to serve.30 minute wait for a beer and other drinks...the hubby literally had to go up and remind her and the bartender basically dismissed him and would say she would have his drinks out soon. Never happened. Meanwhile, locals were getting served up immediately with no issue. Question: why was this female asian bartender who shall remain nameless ONLY attentive to us AFTER she saw that we were with the same group as a local female artist. She was suddenly full of apologies about us never getting our full meal order and not all of our drinks. SMH. Too late for apologies, sweetie! This review is 100% for you and only you.Zero aloha. Never again."

We haven't been here for years! We ordered the UH special plate and shared it because it was a lot of food! Everything was ONOLICIOUS, the ahi fish katsu with tartar sauce, luncheon meat was sliced thick, furikake garlic chicken was juicy and soft and the kiawe steak was cooked to perfection medium rare with kim chee fried rice. The wait was about 25-30 minutes as posted which we didn't mind. There were already a couple of customers waiting and then some after us. We'll be back again to try out the rest of the menu and get some sweet goodies. Mahalo Queen's Cafe!

Kua Aina Sandwich Shop is a North Shore institution, and their pineapple burger is a must-try that truly lives up to the hype. This burger is out of this world, packed with flavor, and a perfect example of how Kua Aina transforms a simple dish into something extraordinary. The patty is thick, juicy, and grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of smoky char that adds depth and brings out the natural flavor of the beef. But what really sets this burger apart is the fresh, caramelized slice of pineapple. It's lightly grilled, bringing out its sweetness and adding a subtle tang that balances the savory beef in an unexpected and delightful way. Each bite is a burst of flavors, You get the rich, hearty taste of the meat, the brightness of the pineapple, and the crisp freshness of the lettuce and tomato, all layered together in perfect harmony. The pineapple doesn't overpower but instead enhances every other element, tying the entire burger together. The combination of textures is just as satisfying as the flavors. The juicy beef, soft bun, and slight crunch of the veggies, with the tender pineapple in between, create a dynamic, mouthwatering experience. Every bite is loaded with taste, from the first to the last, and the flavors come together seamlessly without a single ingredient feeling out of place. Kua Aina's pineapple burger isn't just a meal - it's a truly Hawaiian experience, packed with bold, unforgettable flavors that showcase why this spot has earned its iconic reputation.

Cute little cafe in the north shore. Abundance of seating inside and outside. Staff were respectful and nice. Typical breakfast food you'd get at any diner but it was made good. Parking in the back of the cafe. Not too expensive for breakfast.

You can find this in a strip mall area with plenty of parking. Prices were good for the amount you got. Everyone liked what they ordered minus the standard fries. Cool spot to grab food if in a rush. Staff were friendly and place was clean. I love sweet potato fries so I definitely recommend that!

My cousins and I have come here over the years and have enjoyed the food, quiet setting and closeness to the airport. That night, just a few tables were occupied. We got seated after a short wait and received our drinks quickly. The unlimited salad bar was one of the main reasons for frequenting Ruby Tuesday. It had a good variety and was fresh.I tried the blackened tilapia this time and it was a moist fillet seasoned well. Our server was friendly and checked up on us frequently and brought replacement iced teas at the right times.

Not sure why I didn't come here any sooner, but wow. These are some HEFTY plate lunches. We tried the salmon katsu and tonkatsu sandwich! I couldn't even finish my plate, but it was SOOO good. Both Katsus were crispy and packed with lots of flavor! Honestly, if I were to rate it I'd say that the Salmon Katsu is a 9/10 and the Tonkatsu sandwich is a 8/10. Also their drinks are super good too! The plantation iced wasn't crazy sweet, but just right. The coffee was also really strong but sweetened perfectly. I'd totally come back here again! Love the rotating specials.

Our favorite happy hour in Honolulu!I wish we had discovered this place sooner. Growler has 70 parking stalls with security ($3) and a 100 person capacity. This would be a great venue for a party or event. Inside there are darts, restrooms, AC, more beers on tap than I have ever seen, and lots of seating. We went here after a long bike ride and they let us bring our bikes inside so we could keep an eye on them. The staff did a great job checking in on us and making the appropriate level of small talk. On the happy hour menu we loved both the margarita and the long island. Both have a generous amount of alcohol. The pretzel bites were delicious with both mustard and cheese dip choices. Off the happy hour menu we tried the tacos that I would happily order again. Great value here and a great destination for your next Pau Hana.

"Lunch in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii...Finding great places is easy with the Yelp app! Just search the area (city) where you want to dine and look through the list! That's how I found Aina Grill!I had never heard of Aina Grill before, but they're quite popular and even won an award! They've been at this cozy spot for about 5 years!I saw photos of the special Guava BBQ sauce on Grilled Sirloin and decided to get it. The mini plate comes with 2 sides. I selected the coleslaw and the cheesy baby potatoes. Everything was delicious! The thinly sliced beef tasted yummy and was tender! The fresh coleslaw had the right amount of crunch and tartness! The cheesy potatoes were interesting and not overpowering!I would return if I were in the area! I hope the owner's girlfriend is there again - she was very friendly and knowledgeable. The young man at the cash register was just doing his job... LOL!"
"We did happy hour here the day before NYE so thankfully the place was relatively empty the whole night. Got a whole bunch of dishes off their pupu menu and a bunch of drinks. Service was quick and friendly. Food was pretty good with the garlic Frings (fries and onion rings) and the won ton being our faves."
"What a wonderful longtime venue. Owners and staff are 100% Performed here last night and had a marvelous time , dinner and a show !"
"Large servings!Great people working there. Very accommodating especially with only a few staff. We were a big party roughly around 20+ people.Nice indoor seating. Lots of windows of the golf course."
"Took half a day from work and decided to check out this place I saw on cheap eats .Pearl Country Club restaurant just head up Kaonohi heading Mauka and you can't miss it it's on the right side . Had lunch there with my sister and brother-in-law. I had their Chicken Katsu it was ok average it came with 1 scoop rice and Mac salad. My sister had their Fish and Chips she said it was also alright it would have been better if it came with vinegar for dipping. We also had a side of their Shoyu Pork on bau bun. Nice atmosphere looking over their golf course service a little slow because lots of golfer eat there after they finish playing golf. Overall :Service: 3 StarFood : 3 Star Atmosphere: 4 StarPrice : 3 StarI would overall rate this restaurant 3.5 StarSupport local"
"I have walked by here several times but never stopped. After searching YELP for a buffalo wing place I recognized The Nighthawk name and read the reviews and decided that it was time to stop and get some wings. Saturday afternoon and a good crowd there, the bar had a few of the college games on and it was a friendly atmosphere. I ordered buffalo wings to go and had a beer. The food is fresh and tasty. They serve the wings with a ranch dressing and some spicy sweet pickles chips. I recommend the wings and The Nighthawk. I think my next order I will see if they can fry them a little longer just because that is how u like them. Bartender was great."
"Sometimes you just need a quick in-and-out type of eatery that has plenty of parking, lots of seating and decent food. It separates itself from other Pho joints because you don't have to look for street parking or look for parking in some overcrowded pay lot like their nearby neighbor down the street in Kaimuki. The Kaimuki plaza always has ample parking on the upper deck. I walk right in and get my Pho fix in less than 20 minutes. Sometimes if I hit this place solo, it's okay. They have a big screen TV streaming the Food Network to keep me entertained. I always go with the Pho Tai and sometimes with company, we share some spring rolls. It's really hard to screw up Pho and I don't think they do a bad job here. I like that you don't get the msg high after eating like a lot of other places. It's a bit of a cleaner taste. Some people may not like that, but if you're a health nut or don't care for too much msg, then you're in luck. What's even better is that a few doors down for dessert there's the cookie corner. Get your cookie on and get your shopping done at Long's next door or Times Supermarket downstairs."
"Headed out here in need of a place that was open for a very early morning breakfast. Saw that Pueo's Restaurant was open at the bright and early time of 0600 every morning! I have passed by this establishment many times, but was unsure if the restaurant was only accessible to it's golfing patrons. Upon arrival though, we were greeted by a very nice gentleman named Glen whom we later found out was also our server. He informed us the restaurant was open to the public. Then he ushered us in and quickly served us up some nice piping, hot coffee. Shortly afterwards, he took our orders. The following items were ordered:THE FOODThe Early Bird Special ($7.99 each) x 2:a. 2 eggs over easy, Portuguese sausage, and rice w/ a coffee.b. 2 eggs poached (per special request), spam, and extra crispy hash brown w/ a coffee.Talk about an awesome breakfast deal, which is available from 0600-1000.THE SERVICEGlen was so pleasant and attentive! An exceptional server with such a warm and friendly aura about him. He took very good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed.THE DEALSThe restaurant itself was clean and inviting. There was a large TV and an open bar. I saw they had HAPPY HOUR DRAFT SPECIALS Mon-Fri 1400-1700. And GAME TIME SPECIAL (Game Day Mon & Thur) Bud Light Draft Pitchers for $10. And their Everyday PUPU MENU ranges from $6-$14. What a good deal!OVERALL THOUGHTSImo, customer service weighs heavy on what can make a 4 star rating a 5 star experience. And Glen definitely kicked this up a notch to a 5 star experience! Menu is also very reasonably priced. Did I mention they also serve oxtail soup? We will definitely come back here to experience what else Pueo's Restaurant has to offer :)"
"Fastest dennys ever. Came here for quick brunch. They sat us quickly, took our order & served our food super quickly. Would recommend if you are looking to avoid tourist & grab a quick bite."
"Dined in for an 11a lunch with a group of friends on a Thursday afternoon. It was a perfect time as they got busy just as we were about to leave and there was only 1 server. Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor with a nice view overlooking the putting green. Food was tasty & large portions for the price. We started with garlic fries, which was so good, didn't get a chance to take a pic of it The Korean sparkling drink was okay. I thought it'd be a sweet/citrus flavor but it was more tart. The "special sauce" on their burgers were delish. Ribeye steak & Korean Fried Chicken were also winners. I'd come back to try other items on the menu."
"We are here now for vacation. We just want to say prices are what you expect at a tourist resort. Food is great! But what really made me write this was Dave, our waiter. He is polite, prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. He's out here sweating to bring our food and drinks poolside to help us enjoy our vacation and deserves not only kudos but a raise! If you find yourself at the Hilton Waikiki, and go to the lagoon pool, which for those older adults like us, is the ONLY pool with a hot tub, please ask for Dave! He is friendly and a terrific waiter!"
"Sooooo... The Burger Den is just the name of their secret menu inside of Denny's that you have to order online for takeout or delivery. Yelp uses Grub Hub (no fee for takeout) for their third party and Denny's has nothing to do with the ordering, just the prepping of the burger. The servers here wouldn't be able to order these special menu items for you either. It's convenient and gives a twist on their usual menu items. I'm trying this for the first time to take home to my husband, but am dining here with my children. The server was able to confirm that the order came through and they were even going to plate it to eat here. I told them I did need it for takeout, but it's good to know they were willing to do that for me."
"*Disclaimer* I ordered take out from this location near midnight, its possible this place is much better in person. I would suggest saving your money and not going here. There are so many better burger places in Oahu to spend your money at. The one upside of this place is they are open very late! The food: The burger I got was dry and had little to no sauce. The meat was bland and the bacon overcooked (albeit still good but its hard to mess up bacon). The bun was mediocre and not very moist. The cheese they used was reminiscent to a kraft singles. Now I know certain other locations use that cheese too but its at-least fully melted, here it was only partially melted which added an unpleasant texture. The fries I had were thick and not crispy (albeit this could result from the take out). They also were not well salted so they were bland. The one upside is they have large portions compared to other burger locations if you want more bang for your buck with a loss in flavor.Usually I would write more in reviews but this place was just disappointing, not much else to say."
"I ordered via Uber eats and found out the hard way this isn't some burger joint named The Burger Den, nope... this is just Denny's. I'm not kidding... the burger was about the quality and flavor you'd expect, I didn't finish it. And the fries were dry and overcooked, ate one and spit it out."
"We dined here a couple times for breakfast and dinner during our stay here and the food never disappoints! You get a really nice view of the garden/gazebo area and lots of booths and tvs!Shoutout to Mona for being a fantastic server! We've stayed here last year and recognized her from last time! She is really good at remembering our orders by memory and always gives us good recommendations about where to go and where to find hidden gems! Thank you for making our experience eating here enjoyable!"
"Super delicious chicken and sweet potato fries!!! Totally worth the drive from town!! Item 1 The Quarter Chicken Item 2 The Half Chicken Item 3 Shredded Breast are gluten free. The fries are fried in a dedicated fryer and are gluten free, unconfirmed gf status for the Cajun fries. They will investigate. The service is super friendly and helpful. And the food is so good, it's going to be one of my regular spots when I'm in this neck of the woods and craving some sweet potato fries +$1 and chicken, which is fresh natural premium chicken which is not frozen, hormone and injection free. I was told the owner likes to answer questions so feel free to reach out to them on their website. Provecho!"
"Big giant fish burger!!! It was amazing!!!! The service was friendly and quick!A bad started playing also! The ambiance was amazing!"
"Everything was spot on, from the plates to the burgers, slaw, and mac salad. The Cajun fries with their aioli sauce were a definite hit! I love the local vibe here--great value and delicious food. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!"
"Food was tasty, we ordered the Coconut Shrimp appetizer, which came with a zesty sweet/sour sauce. Tropics Teriyaki Burger, and the Fish Sandwich (Blue Marlin) was a big hit. People watching on the beach was fun but the birds can be a problem at the dining tables if any food is left unattended. Pricey but the food was good."
