Updated picture of BBQ Beef Ribs: I assume it's more by weight than by number of ribs, but last night I got 4 plump meaty pieces, and there was no room for dessert hahaha! and idk if I said it before but a wet cloth is thoughtfully included after ur done. Halfway thru, my wife was pointing out sauce all over my face and asking if if needed to wipe any off, and I said why bother till I'm done? Alas we were seated in front of the old salad bar, and we all missed and reminisced about the all-u-can-eat salad bar w/ fresh avocados, seaweed salad and so much more. Service still outstanding!! Ambiance very neighbor-y feels

5 out of 5 all day!Thank you Shiloh for the great service!This place is a family favorite of my in-laws, and having been here a few times now and trying a few different things, I can totally see why!I have tried a few different steaks here including the New York, Top Sirloin, and then one of the daily specials. Recommend the Steak first and foremost as well as second place.This past visit, I just asked our server, Shiloh, for any of his recommendations and was not disappointed at all. We started with the Artichoke Surprise which has parm and garlic butter on it. Very very tasty. He recommended the Special which was a New York steak along with asparagus and an amazing black pepper cream sauce. Steak was cooked to perfection. Sauce was amazingly flavorful and balanced. I had the greens/spinach salad before hand which was just the right size, not too big nor too small. Paired with any of their amazing desserts, just an amazing meal through and through. Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse on Oahu (which can easily double in price for lesser quality around Honolulu and Waikiki).The vibe both inside and outside is great, relaxing, and classic island mixed with clean attention to detail. No faux pomp and circumstance, just good vibes and great food!

small parking lot, so you have to be lucky. if theres no parking then no idea what you would dovery quaint rustic vibe, and a lot of the memorabilia that you would expect to find at buzzs (all of their calendars)we had reservations, but ended up having to wait a lot longer to actually get sat. the host kept apologizing. and then the weirdest thing was that they told us why it was taking long. because someone at the current party sitting on our table, had gotten sick....so they were cleaning up.... thats definitely not something you want to be telling your guests. while i do appreciate the honesty, its just.....not appetizing, especially if youre going to sit us at that table immediately after. they did comp us some appetizers though for the wait, so that was super hospitable i wanted to go to buzzs for the salad bar since ive been missing it as the pearl city location had closed down quite some time ago. and then right before we went i looked at yelp and saw that the salad bar was gone!!! so i was definitely disappointed as that was the entire reason for being theremenu was pretty much the same as its always been. i got the special which was a better deal since it came with a starch. sad that they didnt have the garlic bread that they used to serve. now its a plain baguette, and if you want more you have to pay !ok experience, definitely not on my need to come back list since the salad bar is gone

Had dinner here with my in laws & husband on a Monday night. We arrived at around 4 to put our name in but they do not start seating for dinner until 4:30. A server went around to get drink orders to enjoy while you waited which I thought was nice. We were seated on the outdoor patio & got to enjoy the nice weather. I can't remember our servers name but she was great & was very attentive. The food was just okay. My husband ordered his steak medium but received it very well done. She offered to have the kitchen recook it but we were starving so declined. But she mentioned it to her manager anyway who was kind enough to have it taken off our bill. This is definitely more of a spot for tourists. The food was not anything noteworthy but I enjoyed the customer service.

5 for service, Joshua was a stellar waiter. He was attentive and even assisted with a birthday ice cream for my daughter. The hype for this place maybe was why I feel let down by our food. For our large family with children; there's no kids menu, which was a total let down that I didn't see anywhere in any other review. However, the adult servings were child size and my 10 year old crushed his burger and my 14 year old was still hungry. The items aren't over priced and are decent for the area.. but when do you ever go out to eat and receive so little fries, there's none to take home and the kids are even asking for more from their adult plate? There's a first for everything. For the other good things; the teriyaki steak was well flavored and cooked medium rare as requested.The boys said their burgers were good. The fish was good, the coating was not too thick. The tartar sauce was really good. The pieces were just too small and the serving lacked. The coleslaw was trash, sorry for those that like it but this was terrible. I did ask if it could be substituted and it could not be so I gave it try and no one at the table liked it either. Also, the BFRD Mai tai was great, I told my husband it's top 5 of the places I've had a Mai tai on island.

Buzz's was awesome. One of the best dinning experiences on the island. The servers were all on point and attentive. The food all was very fresh and well prepared. I highly recommend. We went for the dinner service. Seated outside and the restaurant was very busy which is a good sign! The vibe is fun and relaxed but overall they aim to please! True Steakhouse.

I want to give a huge shout out to Nicole, our server! I have some interesting food allergies and she was super attentive and ensured my safety throughout my meal. My family is in town and we stopped here for lunch to refuel from our adventures. Our drinks were so delicious as well as our meals. All of us left happy and full. I totally recommend Buzz's for locals and visitors!

We have always had great experiences with Buzz's. Really good drinks and the entrees are delicious. We've come as a family with kids included as well at date nights and have had great service.

The folks here are awesome- yes they can get busy but we opted for an early dinner !! 5 pm early not bad since it's 9 pm where we are from! Their host was welcoming and friendly and worked at getting the perfect seating out side - Lesly our server is amazing - took the time to explain the menu and the daily specials. We opted to start our meal with the calamari steak - spinach salad - potato chowder - OMG - got to order the calamari steak - I could have eaten the whole thing myself!! It is excellent and we' ll have to return to have it again. Potato chowder also awesome- spinach salad ok! Prime rib for our entree a bit on more medium than rare but a great piece of meat!!! Ordered a baked potato too- all in all a fab meal . Dessert/ creamsicle ice cream pie - what a topper! Great celebration of a birthday and awesome people and food - yes we will return soon again

Friendly staff to make reservations and greet at the entrance -it's a good idea to plan ahead to sit where you'd like . Great location , walkable from Kailua Beach Park. There are open air tables inside and out, but we preferred inside by the huge tree. They served generous portions ( we share) and all dishes were beautifully presented. Twice in the month we had the spectacular calamari steak appetizer with caper sauce and fresh fish .
