Buk Buk kitchen is so delicious. I almost want to eat it every day. Their meats are well marinated and sautéed then put on the grill to make a perfect meal.!!! The rice is perfectly steamed. The vegetables are perfect. This place is amazingly scrumptious and delicious. I will always return.

4:57 pm 4:58 pm4:59 pm5:00 pmIt's been a long day at work. Does it end for a parent? No! Help with homework. Bathe the kids. Break up fights. Do some chores. Cut down tattling. On top of that I still have to cook dinner. This stand is my huge help to get through the week. A break, a relief, a breather when I feel like I'm drowning in everyday responsibilities. It's also an encouragement to keep going because of the workers whom are sisters, husband and wife, mother and daughter, grandchildren all working hard together. Giving great service with a smile on their face and making it through the everyday daily grind together. Type of Food: Buk Buk kitchen serves different Filipino dishes that my mom enjoys but I always come for the tasty, tender, marinated to perfection bar-b-q grilled chicken. A few times they offered Hawaiian dishes and other local dishes. Here and there I mix it a bit and get a combo with the thinly sliced beef. I get the family size which perfectly feeds my boys and I. Yeah, my husband has to fend for himself. It comes with 4 generous scoops of rice, salad, and four cut up pieces of chicken for $12. Locaton: Buk Buk kitchen is associated with Mahiku farmers market. They travel to different areas. Check out their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/search/str/buk%20buk%20kitchen/keywords_topThis is the link for Mahiku Farmers Market http://mahikufarmersmarket.com/Support local, support a hard working family, and take a break from the hustle and bustle.

Hey! HEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYY! It's not often that I get so excited about a place that I start jumping up & down, but Buk Buk Kitchen did it for me! I know I looked kind of silly, but I really, really love their food.I discovered Buk Buk at the Olomana Golf Course. They are one of the vendors out there every Monday afternoon. They have the BEST chicken! I kid you not. It seriously is the BEST chicken I haven't gotten ever from a farmer's market. Probably anywhere. It was marinated to perfection and cooked all the way through without being burnt. Oh, they also sell teri beef, which is really tasty, but I am a chicken person. We got the Family Pack. It comes with a ton of rice, a HUGE amount of chicken and salad. The price? I think I paid $12. The reason I am not sure is because I was starting to eat & hubby paid. Hey. What can I say? The chicken is that good!!! So run down there & try it for yourself!!!21

Buk Buk kitchen is a food stand run by two friendly sisters that specializes in Filipino BBQ. We saw them at the International Marketplace on a Thursday night where the smell of freshly grilled meats brought us over. They handed out samples of their bbq pork and chicken. I also learned that they have mochiko chicken which I didn't see that day. BBQ CHICKEN MINI plate - $8 - Tender and juicy, this tasted authentic! A typical FIlipino bbq marinade is based on 7up, brown sugar, garlic, etc. The soda and brown sugar create a sweet sticky almost teriyaki like glaze which these had. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/4wXpVs1sp_biLifEEhxb1g?select=537SmHHgVgcwx_iEv9DB1g)Suggestions for improvement. - Portion size/Value - Kinda skimpy. I know were in Hawaii but at Fil-Am BBQ in Daly City, I can get these skewers for $2 a pc. - The side - I didn't like the scooped corn out of the Costco sized can. At least prep it to put your own twist. Or even hide the can? - The rice! - Undercooked and mushy? First knuckle on your finger girl! You can find where they'll be next - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Buk-Buk-Kitchen/182203191802437

HUGE portions, the flavor is on point! My fiancé and I can split a $12.00 plate and still have left overs. The customer service is awesome, they remember us and are so kind! Definitely worth a try or three lol.

Buk Buk BBQ is an amazing family business. Gloria and Grace are the sweetest and most gracious business owners. They truly are the epitome of Aloha spirit and it is small businesses like Buk Buk BBQ that make Oahu so special. The BBQ chicken is always cooked to perfection. The Teriyaki sauce is a wonderful blend and the rice is always cooked to perfection. My family goes to Olo Mana every Monday to get the $12.00 BBQ chicken plate. My aunty and mother usually split the large plate. Myself and my cousin usually eat a large plate each. However, we r large men. I strongly recommend Buk Buk BBQ to everyone.

I have been eating their food for a year now, on Wednesdays, at Kapilina Beach Homes. The chicken and pork taste really good - but the quality of the meat is horribly poor. Lots of fat and gristle. Hasn't always been like this - just seems to be going downhill each week. Mo more for our family - we will purchase from another truck.
