A lot of small businesses have been unfortunately shutting down in hawai'i because of inflation so I've been trying to make it a personal goal of mine to support locally owned businesses in my community. My coworker recommended them to me because they're regulars where I work so I decided to drop by after work one day and the line was out the door so off the back I knew it was good sign.It was my first time there and I was a little overwhelmed because the hustle and bustle of the business, the girls in the front were super sweet considering how hectic it was. Took their time to answer my questions and also gave me recommendations.I ordered the spicy chicken with tuna Mac and the braised meat with purple sweet potato salad and got a lychee lilikoi lemonade to drink it was so good! Me and my boyfriend make braised meat pretty often, but not like that if I had their recipe we'd be rich! I was raised on Oahu so their spicy chicken just felt like home. It was kinda euphoric, the feeling you get when you eat something you loved as a child. Kinda like the moment where the food inspector ate the ratatouille and it brought him back to his mamas house! Just like thatThe house made chili pepper water was sooooo good it was actually my first time trying it and if other joints chili pepper water doesn't hit like that I'll be really disappointed. I still save a container it in my refrigerator. Also not but last but not least the lilikoi lychee lemonade soooo good worth every penny. I would go back just for the juice alone. Portion sizes were huge took us three days to finish it. All in all it's been a while since I found a mom and pop shop that I really loved and I hope they continue to serve the community for years to come! Broke the mouth more like broke the belt buckle I can't wait to go back and try other things ! Also loved the sign!

So much food and variety. It was hard to decide. But everything so far is good. I got salmon stuffed with crab. The order came fast. Every order is a number. The eating area is small and limited. I think it will be expanded as this place becomes a hotter spot. I should have ordered a mini. I couldn't finish my food. It took me two days to consume the leftovers. I wish they had a Keiki menu that was half the size of a mini. My kids couldn't finish a mini. Another thing I think that would benefit this place is a mobile order system. You order in advance and select time for pick up. Payment is on credit card and the order comes attached with a name and phone number. The food is paid for so money isn't wasted. I would definitely come back when I'm out that way.

All good So when it comes to crazy grindz, this is it. Lula rib (my favorite), pork adobo fries (my favorite), animal style burger (my favorite). Everything here looks great and tastes great. Plus they don't cheat you on portions, you'll walk away full. Overall five stars. Everything I've gotten here, I've never complained except their hours. Make sure to check. Now I'm going to get some strawberry lemonade (my favorite). M

Place was recommended to me by my father-in-law. Another recommendation by him that hit the mark!Ordered the Lechon Kawali mini with kimchee fried rice and purple sweet potato on the side. Loved each part of the meal. The lechon was crispy, the purple sweet potato was subtly sweet, and the kimchee fried rice was a good pairing to eat with the lechon. Honestly could not finish despite it being a mini. My husband ordered the Garlic Furikake Chicken regular with Adobo fried rice and tuna & egg macaroni salad on the side. He had to save some for after our hike planned for the day as well. They do NOT skimp out on portions at all. It is worth the price they charge.Overall, definitely check out this place if you want a fulfilling delicious meal!

Beat fried chicken I've ever had, full stop. The skin is *chef's kiss* crispy, and I usually don't eat chicken skin. The flavors don't hold back and that tangy sour sauce is to die for. And cucumber kimchi as an optional side? I've found my people. There must have been a pound of chicken in the dish, enough for two people or for lunch and dinner. A shame I didn't have room to try the unicorn pie.; I feel like I've let myself down. There is inside seating, not too much, or you could sit outside, then grab halo halo from Magnolia next door if you can't tackle a "slice" (serves 3-4) of ice cream pie.

This place might be my new favorite plate lunch restaurant in the Kapolei area...if not, the island. That said, the food is definitely a bit elevated from the traditional plate lunch fare. Coupled with the clear Filipino touch, it's definitely a unique dining experience not to be missed if you're in the area!We stopped in for lunch and ordered the three entree combo plate. We chose the garlic chicken, beef short ribs, and luau luau beef ribs with the tuna Mac salad. I'm SO glad we decided to share because the food was so rich in flavor and the portions were huge! The garlic chicken was fresh/crispy and flavorful as expected. Be sure to couple the chicken with their chili water type sauce! The beef short ribs were unexpectedly melt in your mouth tender with excellent sweet yet savory flavor. I especially enjoyed their take on Luau luau beef ribs with the puréed sauce (I'm not going to begin to try to name the components) which complimented the meaty beef rib.I wish we had room to try their cake slices which look as delicious as they are ridiculously enormous. We'll have to return with reinforcements to share next time around!

Wanted to meet up with one of my friend for lunch while I was visiting Oahu. He suggested this place, which neither of us have been before. It's was about a 15 min drive from Aulani. It's located in an abandoned strip mall - only a couple of businesses left there. Staff was friendly and food was good. Lots of good comfort food on the menu. They also offer mini sized portions, which is what I got. The chicken was nice a juicy, very very flavorful.I would've given a 5 star, but the tables outside were dirty and we let the staff know. Instead of going out to clean it, he handed me A towel and a spray bottle to do it. Um ok bro.Food was good though!

First time here and almost missed it. The sign is a temporary banner, so it was difficult to see at first. Located near the cinema. They have ample seating and sell merchandise with their logo. Its an order, pay, and seat yourself establishment. They were pretty busy, but the food came out quickly. I ordered the 2 choice with sides and I think it was $20.00. The beef was good, but the adobo had absolutely no flavor and didn't taste like adobo. I've been to the Philippines many times, so I know my adobo lol. Also the lechon had no flavor. The menu said it had fish sauce, but hubby couldn't taste anything and neither could I. I would just say take advantage of the chili water because you will need it to flavor up!I was happy with the beef and the kimchee cucumber side. I would come back again, but would probably stick to a burger. My chair was soaking wet and finally seeped through my jeans. I had to change my chair. So shame on the person who sat down in their wet clothes and didn't bother to put a towel down.

My mouth was watering as soon as I saw my plate!!It was my first time trying this place out, and I definitely don't regret going! First impression: it was busy with customers the time we went, so I was already expecting the food to be good lol! There's also a good amount of tables outside and inside the store. Customer service was nice and fast -- after you order, you sit yourself and wait for your number to be called. So many good food choices on the menu, but we wanted to try their classic best seller! My partner ordered their Spicy Garlic Chicken mini plate with Kimchee Cucumbers and I ordered the Garlic Furikake Chicken mini plate with Tuna & Egg Mac salad and a Pink Guava Lilikoi Lemonade. First off, the side dishes were served in a big portion (which I loved). Second, the food was aesthetically pleasing and SOOOOO TASTYYYY!! We absolutely loved their garlic chicken and how crispy it was! & third, I personally felt the lemonade was good but I wish I could taste more of the pink guava/lilikoi flavoring in it, as it was more heavy on the lemon flavor. We were super full so we didn't get the chance to try their dessert, but hey, it gives us an excuse to visit again asap lol! Overall, I really enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the quickness of the service! Will definitely come dine again and tell my family about it!

Food was fantastic. The prices were fair. The portions were generous. The atmosphere was casual. We had a great time!Don't be silly, order the chicken plate! It was delicious! This place is not a tourist trap. It's the type of place the locals love. You should check it out!
