I enrolled my son last year in their afterschool program. They meet once a week and build with Legos. My son enjoys it and I asked him this year if he wanted to continue and he said YES! I don't know exactly what he builds or does, but he's having fun and the price is reasonable. My only suggestion would be to provide parents with pictures of what the kids make and share it through email or private website. The kids do bring back a paper of what they did for the day, I would just like to see what my son's creations looked like.

They seem to take on too many children. I volunteered for a few sessions while my son was in the program. They were short-handed and asked for volunteers. The "instructor" was young and had no experience working with K-3 students. There were about 15 children and she was way too quiet of a speaker for most children to even hear her let alone focus. She had them sit in the beginning of instruction and told them the lesson for the day. It was obvious though that she lost most of them within 10 minutes. By the end of the "lesson" (maybe 20 minutes or so) even the most concentrated learner had tuned her out. Then the building portion was in groups. Many fought over - well just about everything and she had no control or insight on how to deal with all of that. There were about three little boys that would run outside of class and she didn't even notice. I had to run outside to bring them back in. I just can't get myself to register him again. He can build at home with his friends and family.
