Shopping in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii...Looking for fresh produce, cooking ingredients, cold beverages, or other refrigerated items? Check our Brian's Produce...Located at the righthand side entrance of The Marketplace at City Square, Brian's Produce is the vendor to the left. You'll find bags of veggies for $1 and larger bags of cleaned and chopped veggies - ready to cook - for $10.The cashier was very helpful at this produce stand. The air-conditioning (even though the door is open), free parking, level flooring, good lighting, and convenient restroom are much appreciated!FYI:Kahuku papaya is just $2.99 a pound... and Butter avocado is currently $3.99 a pound! I liked the large jars of colored nata de coco... for future almond float desserts... mmm! Just $8.99 for 32 ounces!I got a bottle of green nata de coco!

Craving for fresh seafood? This is my seafood to-go place. Let me clarify this. Not all are fresh (some are previously frozen) but most of the time they got fresh catch display in here. ~This extended Chinatown market is way better than the traditional Chinatown market. Cleaner and more established in here. My husband and I are always excited everytime we come in here. Looking for some fresh seafood and thinking ahead on how to cook them. Brian's Seafood Market is always our chosen stall because of these; (1) customer service is awesome (2) different kind of fish to choose from (3) staff look presentable (4) aloha spirit is always present..... And also they can clean the fish themselves with no extra fee, but you can give tip/s for cleaning the fish. ~For sure we will be coming here back & forth to buy more fish or any other seafoods they got. Prediabetic person like us need more of their seafood product....Mahalo & HAPPY JUANDERING fellow yelpers!

Beware of what you buy from this vendor!! This is what my spring roll wrapper looked like when I got home! I've never seen one like this before. It's completely useless. Will never buy from this vendor again!!

Located in the Chinatown Market Place on Dillingham, Brian's Seafood Market Produce sells fresh fruits and veggies. If you know your prices, you can get good deals and save your pennies. Look for seasonal fruits. In the summer there were dragon fruit, Hayden mangoes, and lanzones. I like that it's indoors so the produce isn't sitting in the sun, plus there is lots of free parking and good hours so you can make it before or after work, or the weekend.

I gotta admit, I buy my bait here, not fish for consumption, but they usually have my secret, hard to find bait for kayak fishing, and Noel (son of Brian I think) always takes the time to chat about how the fish was responsibly harvested, etc. Without this bait, in an easy to access location, I would be waiting for fish to bite rather than needing to buy more bait for the next trip!

Noel and Brian, father and son, started this business with groceries and added fresh fish, shellfish. Now the latter is bigger than the former. They will explain the different types of fish to you if you're not familiar with how to cook them. There are two prices: Cheapest when you clean the whole fish yourself; a little bit more expensive when the staff cleans it. Regardless of which price you choose, what's sold here is fresher and cheaper than traditional Chinatown without any parking hassle. The bonus is sales staff who have the time to chat and explain their fish.

Be aware when shopping at the produce side. Lady (blonde hair) over charging you and not even weighing vegetables correctly or for you to see. Shameful.
