We went there for brunch after reading the positive newspaper review. To our surprise, it was empty, though a man did walk in a few minutes after we did. He sat at another table writing, then left. I ordered two fried eggs, potatoes, toast, and Canadian bacon. Even though it looked like humble fare, it was delicious. My BF ordered steak with potatoes and eggs and liked his food too. Some suggestions for the management to make brunch more pleasant. (1) Can the music be more mellow? Hard rock is difficult to listen to in the morning. (2) A few candles and flowers would soften the harsh pub decor and make the place a more inviting venue for brunch. (3) A steak knife should have been provided.

I've been coming here for years and sadly the service recently has been awful. Great beer options but slowest service ever. Sit at the bar and don't even think of sitting outside. I was seated by the host outside and the server took over 20 minutes to come to our table. It was also not busy inside. I completely understand when it's slammed but this was not the case. Eventually, I went inside and tried to order at the bar but there were no servers or bartender in sight. Disappointed

This store sits at the corner of 9th and Waialae Avenue. There is limited parking behind the building; and the availability of street parking depends on the time of day.I was exploring the general vicinity when I encountered this café and went in for lunch. On this initial visit, I had the blackened fish sliders ($24.00) and two Dragonfruit Lemonade ($4.00/ea). With tax ($1.51) and service fee ($1.34), my ticket was 34.85 before gratuity. (Interestingly, there is a small discount if you pay with cash.)The fish sliders were okay. I understand the seasonings that go along with blackened fish; but I found it too salty. And the manner in which the fries were prepared was not to my liking. I think I just made a bad menu selection, and I'll try other items in the future. The space is not too large, but it is stylish and comfortable. There is a robust selection of draft and packaged beers and ciders. They have the ability to make conventional and crafted cocktails.A lot of people describe this establishment as a neighborhood gastro pub. I think this is a good description. I don't think this is a destination of itself; rather it primarily caters to the surrounding vicinity. And looking at their website, the café hosts events to make itself a neighborhood center of activity.

Got away from the hub bub called Waikiki and bad dinner at Brew'd Craft Pub. Ordered the The Big Island Brewhaus White Mountain Porter and the Blackened Fish Slider with a side of fries. Shelly had the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. Overall, a good choice, nice neighborhood joint with good service.

We stopped in for some tasty beers and happy hour appetizers. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great! Service was prompt and they had great craft beer knowledge. We ordered a few appetizers: smoked marlin dip, fried pickles, chicken tenders and the fish tacos. The smoked marlin dip was tasty but the fish could have been shredded up a bit better to be in every bite, it seemed that there were just a few big chunks. The fish tacos were dry and could have used some type of sauce. The pickles were unevenly battered (some were completely battered, some half battered)They have a great selection of craft beer on tap, both local beers and beers from the mainland.

Located in Kaimuki on Waialae Ave, we went there for lunch. We share a Philly cheese slider sandwich with Truffle fries they forgot we ordered Truffle fries so he apologized and brought us a plate of truffle fries. The slider's was tasty with lots of meat and melted cheese. The fries and truffle fries were also very good and it came out hot and crispy and very tasty, they also make their own ketchup in-house which was also very good. The wedged salad fresh, it was okay a little hard to eat, but we managed and the dressing and tomatoes.Parking is limited in the back of the restaurant that they share with other restaurants and shops.Restroom was clean and the dining area also was clean and well kept. The bar tender/waiter/host was very personable and nice and friendly! He made you feel at home!

This is my neighborhood gastro pub and it has gone through improvements. Expanded hours, better happy hours, improved flooring, larger patio and even more beer on tap are happily noted. The food, service, beer served with appropriate glasses and familiar faces have happily remained the same. Host Jo always welcomes us in with Aloha. Bartenders Max and Jordan are knowledgeable and personable. Kitchen staff even smile at the patrons. Servers are sweet. They have a back parking lot, as well as street parking.

Located on the corner of Waialae and 11th, this cozy neighborhood gastropub had many of their tables filled both inside and outside on a Thursday night. The atmosphere and crowd are cool, comfortable and casual. I got the impression many folks come regularly. The friend I met brings his dog here weekly for the food, beer, and service, Lucky dog! All the servers know her name and one even brought her a water bowl. Of course it contained water, not beer! I was impressed with the comprehensive drink menu. There are 25 beers listed on the draft menu. To save time, I followed by friend's lead and ordered a Delirium, a Belgian ale that comes in its own special elephant glass. FOOD- everything was good and of course went well with the beer!*Smashed burger - 1/2 lb all American beef with all the works including a delicious caramelized onion jam. Comes with their hand cut fries that are fried in beef tallow. Delish!*Beet salad- a colorful bowl of greens topped with beautiful thinly sliced red pickled onions, fried feta balls, cherry tomatoes, and of course fresh beets. You can order with protein. I got the grilled chicken that was nicely seasoned and delicious by itself . There are some other vegetarian options on the menu as well. *Roasted tomato and garlic Hummus-very tasty comes with fried pita. I ordered extra pita since I ran out. Service was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable like they've been working there a while. Happy Hour is from 4-6. Definitely want to return after my blood test for the smoked brisket poutine.

Came in for happy hour and we were super pleased! We recommend the mango cider, which was fresh and crisp. Great spot for happy hour libations. If they have it available, get a bottle of the house-made ketchup!
