We had a group of 6 wanting to surf on the West side but no boards. So Bobby, the man himself, MET US AT THE BEACH with the boards ready to go. He even gave us a private surf lesson for us first-timers. And did I mention the DISCOUNT this man gave us???I can't recommend this service long enough. If you're renting boards or taking lessons, this man will get you STOKED and help you catch some major waves.

Bob's is the best! Bob literally delivered our board to white plains beach and picked it up later at our hotel for us! He really made sure we were able to have a good time, without the stress of a time limit/pick up/ return trip! 10/10 would recommend this shop!

Bob is the best! Make sure to check out the website to book. We ordered our boards the night before and Bob dropped off the boards the next morning. Super helpful with good beginner spots! He'll drop them off and pick them up wherever you are (in his range) and is super friendly and professional. Let us borrow some wax and straps to put our boards on the roof of our rental car. We had a great experience renting surfs from Bob. We are beginners, and he helped us pick the appropriate beach for us, met us there to deliver the boards, even gave us a quick free lesson on land, and gave us tips about where to surf. The next day he picked up the boards from our place in Honolulu. The prices are unbeatable, and the experience was very smooth and pleasant - would definitely pick again!

Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a surf board rental! Bob was so nice and chill, and made it so convenient for me and my husband. It really made our vacation go so smoothly. He called me back a few minutes after I had called him, and was kind enough to meet me and my husband at the beach to drop off the boards right away. He also provided us a soft rack for the top of our car to strap the boards on. He was super flexible with the timing of pickup for the boards too. On top of that, he was kind enough to offer some great local recommendations for beginner surf spots in Oahu. Bob was great and made our Hawaii surfing experience memorable. Great communication, accurate time windows for drop off and pick up. Could not have asked for more. Bob is great!!! We rented two boards. He dropped them off to us, gave us a rash guard and fantastic recs on where to surf. Very inexpensive. So worth every penny. When we come back we'll definitely be renting again.

We highly recommend Bob's for all beach rental needs. We rented some beach gear and a surf board. He delivered and picked up our rental on time. Bob went beyond and above to give us a quick run down of how to surf, suggested local eats and other secrets of the area only locals know. We literally went through 20 businesses before settling for Bob. Here are the things we found Bob's stands out:1. Wide selection of rental. Some shops only rent beach gears while others do only boards. Bob's offers all. There is no need to juggle with two businesses. 2. Bob delivers. This saves us a lot of time and from worrying about the logistics of equipment drop off and pick up.3. Bob's customer service is top notch. If you want to rent a surfing board for few weeks in west & central oahu, you should rent it from here. Period. I stayed at Oahu for a month, and decided to get a surfing board for 3+ weeks. As surfing board is very expensive, I checked different options including buying a new one from Costco or Walmart, buying used ones from different places including craiglist. renting from different places. Bob gave me special discount for longer period, so I think I eventually got the best deal comparing all the options!This is not all. He delivered a surfing board and gave me an hour lesson about basics of surfing. I had an hour lesson from Moku (Waikiki), but I think I learned more from Bob. As you know, this lesson will cost $100+ normally. Well, this is not included at all, but he was very passionate about surfing (heard that he moved from mainland to Hawaii because of surfing!!!) and talking about it just got longer. Just talking about surfing with Bob made me very excited about the surfing. I can feel the passion for surfing from Bob. He is someone running this business out of passion, not necessarily to make money. :)This is not all. He just brought together paddles so that I can use for paddleboard, life jacket, water shoe, even kits to carry surfboards with my car. Other shops very likely charge all of these separately. I was very grateful to rent a surfboard from Bob, and almost felt guilty about asking about discount (which I am glad I didn't).
