Our beloved Bobs Bar B-Q-Que will be moving this year to the former Tasty chop suey this year. I didn't ask the staff when, but I know it's this year. The Bobs iconic soon will soon no longer be on Waiakamiko Street.All the food here is grilled so the burgers are yummy! I got the bobs meal today but sad that my patty shrunk, the fries was plentiful but nonetheless everything was tasty. Love their Kalbi too! Was tempted to get their old fashion malt but will visit soon for that! Service is great and a few tables to enjoy your food!

I've gotta give this place props. I really had very little expectations before trying this place. Admittedly, my only experience with Hawaiian BBQ was from a couple of chain restaurants in California. This food is completely different. The flavor of the grilled meat instantly flashes your taste buds. The macaroni salad is completely undefeated. The customer service and the ambiance could definitely be better, but the flavor knocked it or off the park. 8/10.

Preordered and did an easy pickup. Lovely staff and not too busy on a Friday night. First time here and got the kalbi plate which was delicious. Normally look forward to having Hawaiian Mac salad but it was so so. Pork egg rolls were good and a great value. Last item was Teri beef saimin. Recommend either getting the plain saimin or the Teri beef on the side. All the meat here are charged on a grill so when added to the noodles, it makes the whole thing very oily and the charred extra bits permeates into the soup in a burnt taste way.

My most favorite item was the galbi from one of the bbq platters. Overall it was alright

Bob's BBQ it could be too keep the tourist away, but for me it's fantastic! Seating is outdoor picnic tables under a shed roof. Don't let the looks make you think it's not a good place, because it really is exceptional and clean in the kitchen . I like their fish, order Ahi dinner , Saba , short ribs combo and scallop , chicken everything tasted yummy. It doesn't get any better than this to see all the different culinary influences that have landed in Hawaii Parking is limited, but spaces open quickly. Truly a local delicious food and the prices are very fair and the portions will not disappoint.

Just flew in from California, it's a must stop to satisfy the hunger. Never disappoint!! My family loved it, great Mac and cheese and plenty of rice. Fast service and outdoor dining, makes you feel like you're local. mahalo!

Theres all kinds of Hawaiian Bbq everywhere here on Oahu BUT then theres Bob's!,, Corner of Dillingham and Waiakamilo in Kalihi. The looks of it are definitely deceiving because it's a simple snack of a thing, run down looking actually :( but the food is so good everything on the menu frm burgers to prime rib and of course Hawaiian grinds./ So much Aloha start to finish 5stars- thank you to the uncles and aunties that work here day in day out. The food speaks volumes! So much construction happening all around it. Signs of the times updating to the modern style building directly across the street. it's not a tourist spot at all. although it could be if you're willing to come out of the comfort zone of Waikiki. lol-

Parking lot little rough especially with all the construction going on around lately. Takes a min to get order. Make it fresh I guess. Always get hungry and crave ribs... but the aftertaste of the sauce is a bit unsettling in my stomach.

What an icon...I don't remember this place coming up. It's that old. Haha.There are certain things we always get here.Asst Seafood plate(fried shrimp, fish and scallops), bbq chicken plate, curly fries, Teri burger sandwich and those chocolate malts. Oohhh those chocolate malts. My husband sometimes orders an extra for later in the week.Don't forget that they're moving to make room for the Rail soon!
