Love this sushi spot! It really is those places where it's like "IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW"Their spicy ahi salad is my all time favorite spicy ahi salad! They make amazing hand rolls. Unagi, one of the best unagi hand rolls I've ever had. Shrimp tempura and California roll is top notch. You can tell they take pride in their food because everything's fresh and good. Their customer service is excellent! They are always so nice.It's a small shop and they have all kine other snacks and stuff there as well. It's right across of HCC with a sign right in front. Cant miss it!They also gave us a cute Christmas gift bag with chocolates & $10 certificate just because they didn't have avocado today. They are soo sweet!!! Love this place!!!

A hole in the wall spot that my sister introduced me to. It may look a little sketch with bars on the outside windows, but it looks better on the inside. Remember, don't judge the book by it's cover. The owner is really friendly and they are quick with getting orders out. It must be from just being busy frequently, they got the rhythm down. It was also really nice to see frequent customers come thru while I was there. If you're staying busy with the local customers and you're able to maintain business through the crazy construction on Dillingham, you must have something good going on. Our go-to sushi is the Kiss of Fire - California roll with a nice helping of their tasty Spicy Ahi. I gotta say, I am not a California roll person, but, this is yummy! It balances nicely with their Spicy Ahi that has a nice subtle kick... I guess that's why it's called Kiss of Fire! My co-worker got the breakfast bento when he gave this place a try and he said it was pretty good. Price point is on par with other sushi spots. This one has fresh tasting fish and quality is good, so it's worth it.Parking is easy, it is a one way in and one way out, so if you miss the entrance, you gonna have to go all the way around the block, especially if there's construction going on.Happy Eating,Chass :)

Oishī !!! Amazing flavor!!! This place was recommended by a friend who asked me "If I ever had authentic Japanese food?" Told him I have no idea what I know is whatever is here on Oahu, I haven't been to Japan!" . And Let me tell you, Soooooo Ono!! I got the Kim Chee Udon and Takoyaki.

The food quality at this little place is excellent. The owner is super friendly as well. I just hope they can extend their hour to 8 pm.

#43 for 2020Craved for something light that would bring some energy before NY! Quaint shop offered yummy, light, tasty Cali Maki with fresh rice, nori, sesame seeds, avocado, cucumber, imitation crab, and shredded crab. Perfect to stop by on the way to work as this place opens early. There's also donburi, variety of entree bowls, and sushi platters. Courteous, efficient and quick customer service. Only accept VISA and MasterCard. Score quick one vehicle parking in front of the shop, walk, quickly get dropped off in an adjacent parking lot, find on street, metered or free parking.

So happy this place is still around. It's been my first time back this year. Their spicy ahi is always a go to. I always get their spicy ahi nigiri but this time I got their bowl. Never had it before and I wasn't disappointed.It doesn't actually come in a bowl but in a plate. There is a bed of rice under the layer of lettuce. It's topped with the spicy ahi and cucumber. On the side you get wasabi and ginger with a packet of kikkomon shoyu.The spicy ahi isn't spicy to begin with but it's the type of heat that lingers in your mouth and builds up. But still absolutely can't stop setting it and craving it the next day. They do both take out and indoor dinning. They have a lot of grab and go snacks, icecream, two fridges full of drinks. They even offer party platters at reasonable prices. Their menu is very extensive and full of sushi but they do have meat and breakfast options as well.Parking is right up front or on the side of the building is visitors parking although it's a bit tight. Definitely call ahead and just pick up front.

Ordered 2 sushi platters The family variety platter and the spam and Egg. Both platters were delicious and generously portioned.This mom and pop shop is the best place to find some good food...we'll definitely return for more.

Love coming to this place. Brought my husband for the first time and he loved it. The food is always fresh! Environment is always cool and clean. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming. I love coming here, even if it's 30-40 minutes to get to.
