Absolutely dialed in and delicious! Came here with the family and could not been happier with the quality of the food and the ambiance.Live music playing, very fast service, and scrumptious seafood - what more can you ask for?The open patio setting is extremely inviting and kid-friendly. We watched the boats on the water while we ate.The Mahi Mahi was some of the best fish I've ever eaten. Hands down.Amazing vibe - a must stop spot!

The $5 Bento Box trucks are a must try!We stumbled on this after hearing our parasail guide mention there was a truck nearby, and immediately raced to get. We had the Mango Smoothie in a Pineapple ($14) and it was unfortunately not as liquified as the first smoothie we had from another Bento Box truck. It was more like a slushee than a smoothie. We had to use a spoon to scoop up the chunky consistency. They also dunk tons of circular ice cubes inside. The pineapples on the side were still delish. I got the Rainbow Shaved Ice ($4?) for curious reasons, and yup! It tastes just like what I thought it would be. Syrup flavoring on a chunk of ice. Nonetheless, it was refreshing on a hot day!Their $5 lunchboxes seem intriguing and at such a great deal too. Wish I got to try, but I keep falling for their smoothies.

It's hard enough finding affordable food in hawaii and this food truck offers just that! If you're hungry and don't want a sit down restaurant this is the place for the grab n go food when you're hangry. I really don't know how they keep their prices so low! Local simple $5 bentos that are surprisingly delicious! I've gotten the Huli Huli chicken bento and loved that. Been here a few times and have not regretted it! Can get pretty busy since it's near the cruises. The drinks seem popular, but I haven't tried. Service was great, really kind local people with aloha spirit!

It's a casual place. You walk up to the counter to order your food and if they have a table, they can seat you. They will bring you a carafe of water but that's all. You have to buy bottled drinks at the counter. Food is not cheap and honestly it was not good. Ribeye was cooked correctly as ordered but absolutely no flavor. Not even some salt or pepper. The garlic shrimp was okay. They weren't even peeled. I dislike expensive places that won't even peel the shrimp. Quesadilla was okay. Only good dish turned out to be the kids fish and chips. One big piece of fried fish cooked well. Overall I wouldn't recommend because it lacked service and flavor.

Monday, 2/28/2022 - Ate at "Blue Water Shrimp & Seafood" for lunch at the Hilton Hotel in Honolulu, HI. This place was so good. There is a line. We just walked over from our hotel. Upon arrival:Pros:1) nice staff. 2) you order where it says "order"and they bring you your foods. 3) they provided us each a water cup and a pitcher of water. Water tasted good. 4) every single one of our dish was superb! Everything was perfectly cooked and very flavorful!5) staff kindly cleaned up our dirty dishes after we ate. 6) they provided us with extra plates, utensils, and napkins.Cons:1) noneConclusion: Love this spot. It was great. Outside seating. Nice service. Foods super delicious. Few tables. Nice staff. If go here again.

We walked about 2 miles from our hotel down Ala Moana Blvd to get to the $5 bento box truck. It is the only $5 bento nearby us so that left us with a simple choice. We arrived around 8pm. They close at 9pm. We got:$6 Dole whip$5 per...pork chop, garlic shrimp, fish katsu and poke. Efren, who is Filipino runs it came out after and talked to my wife in Tagalog. He liked us and gave us some H2Os, couple bananas, and 3 free bentos since it was the end of the night and they would likely get tossed. Super cool dude. We will look him up next time. The bentos were good. We enjoyed them right there at the marina where the truck is located. Kinda dirty benches but the marina night air was a nice breeze. Awesome $5 bentos. Get it if down near Ala Moana Blvd. I def recommend it!

They accept credit / debit cards now. I originally wanted the fried chicken but they were out. I decided to try the sweet & sour snapper and it is actually delicious ! It is just the right amount to satisfy my hunger. I was sus about how good it could be but it is consistently good ! This is the location in Kalihi.

Would you spend 1 hour going by bus and back to get a $5 bento box?Came here first on Sunday at 430pm, and everything sold out. Wife and I took the bus here, and walked to Ala Moana shopping mall to eat dinner there. Came a second time on Monday at 430pm, Got the opakapaka , mahi mahi, and a 2 for 1 deal on shrimp with zucchini. Meals come with a scoop of white rice, and two tablespoons of canned corn, besides the main dish. Wife hated the paste like white rice, and cooked brown rice and zucchini in the condo. The opakapaka or snapper was a full filet, about 7 inches long, and maybe 5 ounces. Covered with seasonings, including grilled onions and sweet chili with cilantro sauce, giving a kick for an otherwise bland white fish. The mahi mahi was maybe 3 ounces, soaked in a lemon sauce to give it added flavor and to prevent it from drying out. my wife doesn't normally care for Mahi mahi, but liked this version. The 2 for 1 deal on shrimp with zucchini was a mistake. Anytime they offer a 2 for 1 at the end of the day, ask to see the specimen first, before buying. In this case about 9 nickel size canned shrimp to go with a predominately zucchini dish. Wife and I ate 4 bento boxes in one sitting, and we aren't big eaters.Third time, came on a Wednesday at 430pm. Had to take a round trip on the bus to get here, taking 1 hour total from the condo. Got two opakapaka and two mahi mahi, the latter at 2 for 1. They were cloudy looking in the creamy sauce and dried out. Ate the opakapaka two days later, and they were still good. You're competing with $8.99 a lb ready to eat cooked beef stew, orange chicken or spaghetti with meat at Food Pantry on Holbron Lane, minutes from my condo. Now if you are really cheap then wait until 7pm on a weekday, and all their leftover items will be 2 for 1, or $5 for 2 bento boxes. They give you a plastic bag to hold up to 4 bento boxes, so that you don't leak all the juice over the front of your white pants, for all the bus passengers to see!Bring your hot date here on a first date, and it will be your last date!

Located at Kewalo Basin on the corner of Ala Moana and Ward Ave. They had a tent before now they have a lunch wagon and carry more items like smoothies, Dole Ice cream, Pineapple drinks, Coconut Drinks, Shave Ice, besides all the different $5.00 bentos. Most of the bentos we tried was good from the Hamburger steak, different styles of fish dishes, but the Curry stew was spicy and not much taste. The pork guisantes was pretty bland no flavor and lots of potatoes and carrots which was under cooked and hard and hardly any meat!So for todays choices I gave it only 2 stars, but other dish were good.
